Character Name: Kurch

Desired Saga: Eight Gates T1

How well do you know this technique/saga?: I used to scream about youth like an autistic sea monkey in elementary school when Rock Lee first popped off in the English dub against Gaara, I know gates like the back of my hand. Naruto too, but that's a guilty pleasure.
Reasoning: Kurch was once but a carefree hunter of the ape tribe, content to play "toss the bonobo", "unleg the smoothskin", and other such relaxing games in the high society of his tribe. Small, and yet prosperous, the beastmen apes were likely to one day discover such modern conveniences as "fire" and "law" when tragedy struck.

The banana plague.

Apes weakened, consuming whole bushels of bananas and gaining no nutrition. Growing emaciated, they became easy prey to the giant jaguars, and the prosperity of the village came into question. And so, Kurch made the hard decision to leave the tribe and his mantle as a hunter behind. A smoothskin they had captured and delegged had said they were a doctor, and had a cure for the "banana plague", but he bled out from a lack of legs before he could illuminate.

Leaving the ape village behind, Kurch wanders with a dream; to become the warlord of medicine and become a true doctor so he can save the apes from decimation. To do so, he must not only learn medicine, but the capacities and limits of the ape body, a study never taken before by any shaman or hunter before him. Kurch will need to find the cure within himself before he can ever save his people. To do so, he must help the village that has now taken him in, both as a studying doctor and a source of strength against the demonic scourge that offers him so many patients to....."practice" medicine on.



(-) Has taken a role as the co-chief operator and therapist of the hospital with his Namekian companion Boulder, offering such wise health tips as "don't let the jaguar maul you" and "when bleeding, just stop".

(-) Aided various denizens of the library in studying the infestation of the gajalaka and slimes, gauging their physiology and similarity to both the thick sinew of an ape, and the squishiness of a bonobo.

(-) Has attempted to gauge how hard an ape can push itself without food or water to discover the symptoms of the banana plague, steadily loosening his inner limiters in complete ignorance as heavier and heavier boulders were lifted, juggled, and smashed with vigor.
