gushing_granny: gonna take me a long time to get to that point, if i even get to that point at all

gushing_granny: havent even started the new part yet

gushing_granny: ok

gushing_granny: im about to get right to it

gushing_granny: part 7 time mofucka

Ayy1Sauce: yeah

gushing_granny: k

gushing_granny: so, after the master gives dan the weakened, more stable energy

gushing_granny: he begins training him

gushing_granny: its gonna be a standard training montage, ill get to that in a bit

gushing_granny: but, cut away from that

gushing_granny: the setting is an ornate, futuristic castle

gushing_granny: in a beautifully decorated room

gushing_granny: the orc king sits in a rather large, chrome plated throne

gushing_granny: an orc dressed in armor runs into the room "SIRE, SIRE!!!"

gushing_granny: "stop yelling, what the hell is it?"

gushing_granny: "those damn rebels took back one of our strongholds again"

gushing_granny: the orc king gets out of his chair, livid

gushing_granny: "grrroowlll"

gushing_granny: "that damn celestial, poking his pretentious fucking head into my business!"

gushing_granny: "how the hell did you fucking idiots clue him in to our location!?!"

gushing_granny: "well, i dont know sir, i...."

gushing_granny: the orc king dashes across the room, impaling the orc with his fist

gushing_granny: he snarls again "i dont take...."

gushing_granny: he speaks in a mocking tone as the orc begins to gurgle on his own blood

gushing_granny: "i dont know sir"

gushing_granny: "for an answer."

gushing_granny: he slings the orc to the ground, pulling out a piece of cloth from his cloak and wiping his hand

gushing_granny: "also, your voice is annoying."

gushing_granny: cut away from that scene

gushing_granny: a small, blue woman is flying at a extreme speed across an unknown location on the planet, she looks worried

gushing_granny: "i have to find him...."

gushing_granny: a small, glistening tear rolls down the blue womans cheek

gushing_granny: "he saved my life, I HAVE TO FIND HIM!"

gushing_granny: she suddenly stops

gushing_granny: in mid air, she begins sobbing

gushing_granny: "damn it, why is jack putting me through this..."

gushing_granny: she suddenly looks suprised

gushing_granny: "fuck, i cant keep this up for too much longer"

Ayy1Sauce: OH NO

Ayy1Sauce: oh

gushing_granny: her body, which seems to be made out of light, begins to fade slightly

gushing_granny: "if continue accelerating like this, ill lose all of my energy and die...."

gushing_granny: her body disappears, leaving behind a small metallic orb

gushing_granny: "im sorry dan"

gushing_granny: the metal orb rearranges itself, transforming into a familiar robot

gushing_granny: "i have to pursue you in this form...."

gushing_granny: the robot begins to move through the air again

gushing_granny: "i hope you're still alive when i find you. i still sense your energy signature."

gushing_granny: now

gushing_granny: cut away from that scene

gushing_granny: dan is standing in a dark room

gushing_granny: a figure suddenly accelerates at him, he narrowly dodges

gushing_granny: he tries to kick at the figure, but it easily moves out of his way

gushing_granny: the figure punches at dans face, dan jumps back and blocks it with his elbow

gushing_granny: "hey, i told you not to do that when i cant see you!"

gushing_granny: the figure dissapears and reappears behind dan, knocking him to the ground

gushing_granny: "then how will you learn, child?"

gushing_granny: as the master removes his invisibleness, dan looks up with him with a half smile

gushing_granny: "one of these days....im gonna figure out how to do that."

gushing_granny: dan gets up and dusts himself off

gushing_granny: "so, can we get to the part where you teach me how to control energy?"

gushing_granny: "you've been making me spar with you for like, 2 days straight with no food and very little breaks and im getting bored as fuck."

gushing_granny: "and also, i already know how to fight."

gushing_granny: the master crosses his arms

gushing_granny: "correction, you know how to fight terribly."

gushing_granny: "if you were half decent, you would have been able to hit me at least once while i was invisible"

gushing_granny: "how the fuck am i supposed to hit something i cant see?"

gushing_granny: "you will figure that out in time, child."

gushing_granny: dan rolls his eyes

gushing_granny: "so, how bout that energy?"

gushing_granny: "you sure are eager."

gushing_granny: dan nods his head

gushing_granny: "alright, come with me."

gushing_granny: the master leads dan into another room, it is shrouded in a blueish green, dim light

gushing_granny: "the energies produced in this room make it easier for you to control your energy. you will be utilizing this room for the duration of this session, and any sessions after that."

gushing_granny: "i think i can feel it....its all tingly...."

gushing_granny: "that would be your pulse readjusting to the forces in this room."

gushing_granny: "pulse? what is that?"

gushing_granny: the master gives dan a lengthy explanation on what pulse means

gushing_granny: "ahh. thats actually cool as hell, i didnt know that."

gushing_granny: "i didnt expect you to. now, lets begin."

gushing_granny: dan side eyes the master

gushing_granny: "follow me."

gushing_granny: the master leads dan to the other side of the room, where there are a few chairs, and a small platform set up

gushing_granny: dan sits down in one of the chairs "what the hell? this looks like a class room for people who like drugs and being 'one with nature'"

gushing_granny: "but of course child, being one with nature is one of the prerequisites to learning to control energy

gushing_granny: dan shifts back in his chair "yeah, alright."

gushing_granny: the master begins to explain the intricacies of energy and how it reacts with the body, as well as the different aspects of energy in general

gushing_granny: he creates diagrams on top of the small platform to illustrate his lecture

gushing_granny: after a couple of hours

gushing_granny: dan begins to yawn "fuuuck, this is sort of cool, but boring. i need video game now pls."

gushing_granny: "listen up, young one. lets see if you have been paying attention."

gushing_granny: "what are the 4 main aspects of using energy"

gushing_granny: dan scratches his head lazily

gushing_granny: "umm, kan, the energy itself."

gushing_granny: "gan, how energy reacts with the body and its pulse."

gushing_granny: "shan, the mental force that governs how energy is formed and used"

gushing_granny: "and zan, the different types of energy that your body can produce."

gushing_granny: "very good child, you seem to have the basics down."

gushing_granny: "now, tell me, how do you use energy in the first place?"

gushing_granny: "you use the pulse."

gushing_granny: "expound on that."

gushing_granny: dan sighs, rocking back and forth in his chair rhythmically

gushing_granny: "the pulse is governed by specific parts of the body"

gushing_granny: "the parts of the brain that control motor function, memories, and emotions directly affect the pulse"

gushing_granny: "concentration, as well as a feeling of calm and self actualization is required to maximize the movement of pulse"

gushing_granny: "and by visualizing the direction pulse moves in your minds eye, the body's motor functions will make the pulse follow suit."

gushing_granny: "very good."

gushing_granny: "so, now that we have covered that, lets put this information to practice."

gushing_granny: dan springs out of his chair, smiling "yesyesyesyesyesyes"

gushing_granny: all of the sudden, someone knocks on the door to the room dan and the master are in

gushing_granny: the master looks at the door, slightly annoyed

gushing_granny: "what do you want, pupil?"

gushing_granny: "well, um, sir, you havent come to the school to teach us in the past few days, and i was wondering if you were ok and, well...umm.....i sort of wanted to ask you if i could-"

gushing_granny: "begone, pupil, your teacher will return soon enough."

gushing_granny: "b-but um, ive been having to take over as the head tutor for the past few days, and, well....i was wondering if i could take a leave of absence, because the kids dont like me and they said that if i ever tried to teach them anything about how to use fire ever again they were going to-"

gushing_granny: dan, with an extremely annoyed look on his face pipes up

gushing_granny: "look dumbass, he said leave him alone. he attending to more important matters right now."

gushing_granny: the guy behind the door knocks on it again "master, who is that that you have let into your personal quarters? you never let anyone in there, let alone m-"

gushing_granny: dan and the master speak at the same time "GET OUT OF HERE DAMNIT"

gushing_granny: the sudden increase in tone causes the guy to scurry off

gushing_granny: "ugh, i lost my train of thought..." the master grumbles

gushing_granny: "wait, you understand colloquial phrases in english now?"

gushing_granny: "i read your mind, didnt i?"

gushing_granny: dan frowns, with an annoyed look on his face "hmph, im gonna have to learn how to do that too."

gushing_granny: fast forward a bit

gushing_granny: dan is standing there at the center of the blue-green tinted room, straining his mind

gushing_granny: he is tensing his body as hard as he can, grunting like an anime character

gushing_granny: the master is watching him, carefully concealing his laughter

gushing_granny: "umm *snicker* dan?"

gushing_granny: dan turns toward the master and stops grunting

gushing_granny: "what is it"

gushing_granny: ".....*snicker*"

gushing_granny: "dan, what the HELL are you doing *snicker*"

gushing_granny: dan furrows his eyebrows

gushing_granny: "i havent even seen your pulse move in the last 30 minutes, and you've been standing there in that ridiculous stance and doing that...what was it?"

gushing_granny: the master grunts mockingly

gushing_granny: dan frowns "hey, im just trying to use energy"

gushing_granny: the master sighs

gushing_granny: "why are you so obsessed with energy?"

gushing_granny: "anyway, the point of this exercise isnt to use energy, its to learn how to control your pulse."

gushing_granny: dan scratches his head "there is always some stupid stuff you gotta learn before you get to the cool shit....." he mutters

gushing_granny: "what was that, child?"

gushing_granny: "umm, nothing."

gushing_granny: fast forward a bit

gushing_granny: the master and dan are sitting across from each other

gushing_granny: "clear your mind of all unnecessary thoughts."

gushing_granny: "feel the force within you."

gushing_granny: "ive been able to feel it. it still sort of tingles."

gushing_granny: "but i cant make it move, no matter how hard i try."

gushing_granny: the master sighs and opens his eyes

gushing_granny: he mutters under his breath "this is why i dont like teaching newbies. this kid is lucky he found a void stone, let alone being trained by me....why i ought to just-"

gushing_granny: dan interrupts him "huh? what did you just say?"

gushing_granny: "umm, nothing"

gushing_granny: dan and the master get up and and the master leads him over to a tall box

gushing_granny: the master pulls open a few containers, and then takes out a small vial of black liquid from one of them

gushing_granny: "this little thing helped me when i was learning how to use energy, and now its going to help you."

gushing_granny: "oh boy, i wonder how long ago that was"

gushing_granny: the master gains a blank look on his face

gushing_granny: "roughly 400-500 years ago."

gushing_granny: dans eyes go wide

gushing_granny: he shakes his head "whatever. didnt need to know that, continue."

gushing_granny: "this potion naturally draws on the body's natural energy force, letting it escape from the pores into the-"

gushing_granny: "skip the long ass description. i had to deal with that shit for hours already."

gushing_granny: the master side eyes dan

gushing_granny: "this potion makes your pulse visible."

gushing_granny: "really? thats neat."

gushing_granny: "uhuh. now, drink." he hands the vial to dan

gushing_granny: dan takes the vial, and thinks while turning it over in his hand

gushing_granny: "i have been teleported to an alien planet by a robot from the future, have almost died 2 times on said planet, once to a monster that looks like a cross between a werewolf, a caterpillar, and a wooly mammoth, and again to a really powerful king that can shoot electricity out of his fingertips, and now a weird alien guy i have just met has told me to drink this nasty looking bottle of stuff to help me release my inner power....."

gushing_granny: "my reaction to all of this?.....meh."

gushing_granny: dan downs the black concoction

gushing_granny: suddenly, a white aura begins to appear around him

gushing_granny: "woah, cool myan"

gushing_granny: he looks at the master

gushing_granny: "so, how is this supposed to help me use energ- i mean, control my pulse?"

gushing_granny: the master sighs

gushing_granny: "what are the different steps to using energy?"

gushing_granny: "i may have fell asleep for that part...."

gushing_granny: "i guess i have to refresh your memory."

gushing_granny: "now, pay attention."

gushing_granny: (if i wanted to break the 4th wall i could have the master look right at the camera as he does this)

gushing_granny: "first step."

gushing_granny: "conditioning."

gushing_granny: "it involves controlling your emotions, and clearing your mind"

gushing_granny: "step two."

gushing_granny: "conceptualization."

gushing_granny: "this step involves feeling the pulse in and around yourself, and by controlling your emotions and imagining the pulse moving, you may move the pulse itself like a muscle."

gushing_granny: dan nods his head, listening intently

gushing_granny: "step three"

gushing_granny: "allocation"

gushing_granny: "this involves using the pulse to feel the latent energy in your body

gushing_granny: "you may then draw part of this energy out, using the pulse to move it"

gushing_granny: "part 4"

gushing_granny: "transformation"

gushing_granny: "this involves shan."

gushing_granny: "utilizing your mind and to control and contort the pulse"

gushing_granny: "you may transform the energy itself into a different form, or a different type of energy altogether"

gushing_granny: dan yawns

gushing_granny: "and finally"

gushing_granny: "part five."

gushing_granny: "projection."

gushing_granny: "using the gathered energy, you direct it out of your body with the pulse, with the desired attributes you have given it"

gushing_granny: "the potion i have given you helps with the conceptualization step, which is absolutely crucial to controlling energy correctly"

gushing_granny: "well then, lets see how i do."

gushing_granny: dan shuts his eyes tight

gushing_granny: he imagines the white aura around him

gushing_granny: he begins to feel the tingling sensation again, it begins to grow rapidly

gushing_granny: it spreads to his entire body, and becomes more intense

gushing_granny: dan begins to think "be calm. clear your mind."

gushing_granny: the tingling sensation is more intense near his arms

gushing_granny: he feels it just under his arm

gushing_granny: beneath the skin

gushing_granny: "now, i just gotta control my emotions...."

gushing_granny: "......come on...."

gushing_granny: "wait a second....."

gushing_granny: dan realizes the tingling feeling isnt just beneath his skin, it isnt connected to his body

gushing_granny: the master watches dan closely

gushing_granny: "i think i know how to do it...."

gushing_granny: dan imagines his skin is connected to several tendrils, the imagined bones and muscles wiggling around him

gushing_granny: the aura around dans arm begins to wave slightly

gushing_granny: dan then feels like the foreign tendrils are actually connected with his body, which frightens him, he begins to think of a large, tentacled monster doing obscene things to high school girls

gushing_granny: the simultaneously familiar and unfamiliar feeling causes dan to open his eyes in shock, the white aura around him disperses

gushing_granny: "i.....couldnt do it...."

gushing_granny: "no, you couldnt."

gushing_granny: the master walks over to dan, putting his hand on dans shoulder

gushing_granny: "but you are making progress, child. do not ever give up."
