Carter/Charlotte fun in the Bazaar! pt. 2

Carmine> "Hmm..." Carter looks her up and down again... "You could try orange, it would work with your blonde hair, or you could go purple, I think purple would work as well."
<Jar_Mimic> "Ooh!" the bunny girl moans, looking back among the rainbow of possibilites that lie before her, "That sounds like a good idea!  I like orange.  Purple would be nice, but I think I'm a bit too pale for it.  An orange dancer outfit."  A headdress is taken from the shelf.  "Of course, I'll have to put some holes in it for my ears."
<Carmine> "That's no big a deal, your ears will only enhance the outfit." He says, giving her ears a casual rub before retreating, "If you want I can pay for it too."
<Jar_Mimic> "Oh.  Oh, Carter, thank you.  Thank you, but, uh, no.  Don't you worry, I can afford it.  Or, uh, Nat can afford it, and I get all my money from her."  With a hungry smile on her face, she whips a whole outfit off the shelves.  The veil and headdress, the top and sleeves, the sirwal, the hip jinglers, and even the slippers.  All in seethru orange.  "Alright, I think this is all in my size.  Shall I pay for it so we can move on?"
<Carmine> "Sure, but I don't really have much to spend my money on, I don't have to pay rent or taxes and my sister and I don't need to eat much food so I end up with more money than I need, but if you really insist then you can pay for it."
<Jar_Mimic> "Oh, trust me, Nat is a horrid mizer.  She has more than enough for a few scraps of clothing from a flea market."  With all confidence, Charlotte places the mass of soft cloth in front of the soft looking shop owner.  A transaction is made, and the clothing is crammed into a plastic bag that says 'Pop Star' on it.  "Alright, let's move on!"
<Carmine> "Okay!" Carter smiles and leads her out of the store, the manager just watching them go lazily. Once they've walked down the street for a bit the path leads into a very wide road with a crossroads a few hundred meters down the right with a large statue that is unidentifiable from this distance.
<Jar_Mimic> "Ah, all of these stores!  I really do wish I had brought Nat along.  Ooh, and Rose would...  Well, Rose probably wouldn't like this very much.  She'd much rather go someplace trendy and buy normal clothes.  Nothing rustic like this.  Well, there are plenty of places to go for regular clothes that are cheaper than the mall!  Kids, man."
<Carmine> Carter nods along, "Yeah, I prefer these kind of cool outfits, they may seem out there but in the overcity no ones gonna question you." He stops at the intersection and looks both ways, "Which way do you wanna head? Left or right?" To the left the large road continues but on the other side the lights are a cooler color than the warm orange ones where they are.

<Jar_Mimic> "Oh, my Rosemary doesn't really care much for context.  She wants to be a normal girl.  Normal girls don't go waltzing down the street wearing a Froslass kimono like her mom does."  As the bunny girl continues whining about the daughter that a boarding school is currently raising for her, she leads them to the right.  Statues are cooler than lights no matter how cool their colors.
<Carmine> "I hated being normal, it felt weird just going with everyone else." As they walk down the road, large wagons and other types of transportation pass by, many drawn by horses or large birds or giant lizards. The statue comes more and more into view as they approach it and it appears to be the likeness of a man wearing a turban with colonial officers clothing and glasses, on a sign below in big bold letters it says, 'OUR FOUNDER-', the rest of the
<Carmine> text is either missing or unreadable.
<Jar_Mimic> "Oh.  My.  God.  How much for one of these chocobo lookin' guys around here?  I want one.  I want one!  Ah, look at 'em!  They're so poofy!"  Despite gushing at the presence of birds pulling carts, Char doesn't have the social fortitude to go up and hug people's animals.

<Carmine> "I, uh, I don't actually know, but I bet if we look around we should be able to find a place that sells them..." He looks around for a directory of sorts. Between the four roads the entire Bazaar seems to be separated into four sections, each with their own colored lights, one has a warm orange light, another a cool white light, the next a light green and the final one a soft yellow.
<Jar_Mimic> "Well, hey, lead the way, my friend.  You're the one that's been here before.  I'll just follow you.  As long as we stop when I see something cool."  As the bunny girl says this, she continually resists the urge to jump or ride her spear up onto the statue.
<Carmine> "Well, I've only ever been to the autumn section before," There are indication signs around the crossroads that tell them that the orange lit area is known as the 'Autumn sector', the white one 'Winter sector', the green 'Spring sector' and finally the yellow one the 'Summer sector'. "Maybe if we look in the Spring sector we might find a place that sells the birds."
<Jar_Mimic> "Ballin'!" exclaims Charlotte.  Without waiting for Carter to lead her this time, she makes her way toward the nearest green thing that's not a lizard pulling a cart.  At this point, she's already thinking of good chocobo names.

<Carmine> Seeing as he doesn't really know much about the place he lets her lead him a bit, catching up to her so she's not dragging him along. The first thing they'll notice is that the amount of organic produce here is vastly increased from the Autumn sector, always a good sign when looking for a person who sells big birds.
<Jar_Mimic> "Oh my gosh, I should buy some spices and meat while I'm here.  I've been getting a bit lazy with my pineapple pan fry recently.  I need something that'll make it just, you know, pop.  I really should be more adventurous when it comes to my seasonings.  And maybe I'll find some new parts for my body parts list~"
<Carmine> "Body... Parts?" Carter looks confused and concerned by this statement.
<Jar_Mimic> "Well, ah, actually, I have two body parts lists," Charlotte admits with a sparkle in her eye, "One of them is a list of weird animal parts I've eaten.  You know, like, I've had cow stomach, pig ear, duck feet.  I like being-"  As she says this, a wry smile comes to her face  "-Adventurous with what I eat.  The other is an actual body parts list.  You know, just in case Rose or Yoka need to have some of theirs replaced."
<Carmine> "Oh, uh, okay the first one I get, the second one... I'm not sure what to say..." Carter still looks concerned but he shakes his head as if to shed the thoughts and returns to smiling.
<Jar_Mimic> "Hey, man, I understand," she replies, throwing up her hands defensively, "Necromancy can be a trip sometimes, but, uh, well, it's, um, served me and my family well for getting us what we want.  I'm very happy with how things are."  She smiles, too, of course.
<Carmine> Carter smirks and pokes her little cotton tail, "Is that how you got this then?"
<Jar_Mimic> "Nope," she admits, shaking her rear for him, "This was a gift from Kaji.  I asked for it when she first made the body.  After being a bunny doll for nearly three years, I thought I should probably stick with it."  All of these things are said as though she were discussing the weather.
