Dragonomicon: Bagon

	Bagons are another unusual child dragon.  They are completely bipedal creatures, their two small arms useless for most conventional tasks.  Their body is covered in a thick, blue hide that has proven quite often that it is extremely capable of taking physical abuse.  The most prominent feature, however, is their head crest.  At first, it appears to be little more than an odd, intricate growth from the Bagon's skull, but it is in fact their greatest weapon.  The crest is made up of a mixture of bone, granite, iron, and in some cases platinum.  This affords the crest extreme power and durability, and it is commonplace for Bagons to shatter rocks with them.
	Though they certainly possess great physical power, Bagons are coveted far more often for their sturdiness.  They are one of the only child dragons that can take heavy abuse so early on, and using adult dragons is simply impractical in large numbers.  Thus, it is typical to see large packs of these creatures used to defend bottlenecks and key locations.
