- AI Dev --- Orion vs Xazlo
- [21:08] Xazlo Vylmes asks, "I'm not going to hold back, is that fine?"
- [21:08] Orion Sinclair says, "Then I'll show him what we can do, but fair warning kid. All sword styles have their own perks."
- [21:09] Orion Sinclair says, "That's fine."
- [21:09] Armis says, "Yeah... that's fine.. i'll just watch and, take notes or whatever."
- [21:10] He walked away from the two, a bit irritated that he was just watching, and he didn't try to hide his frustration with his walk to the sidelines, using a bit of force onto the ground.
- He sat down the floor, crossing his legs as he used his arm to hold his head up as he slouched
- (Armis)
- [21:12] Armis says, "and- don't call me kid."
- [21:14] Orion stood his ground, he then drew out his sword, the Ol'reliable Glyph-Blade with runes running down it's rare steel with the inscriptions of: 'To Sail Upon The Ocean of Time'. With this blade, he would assume a Kendo like stance, with his feet just shoulder width apart, his knees bent and his posture loose for his maneuverability… He then began to concentrate his mana and energy into a single point, allowing it all to flow throughout his body like a steady and calm river.
- This was his theory of utilizing the After Image ability through both his sheer speed and his ability to teleport with the use of his Cetus stance methods... Orion would channel this mana and energy with the exact calculations of a Golden Ratio, except this would only apply to the limbs of his body as well as his vision to properly see through the tunnel effect for whenever he runs...
- This Faux After Image Aura would be clear but present, one that he's been training forover two or three years since he met Mei of the Glade... The young Gladed One was prepared, with his sights set upon his opponent and friend Xazlo…
- "Come when ever you may," said Orion, ready for battle.
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [21:16] Xaz would nod. Hopefully Armis would come around and listen to what he said all that time. It seemed like he was fine with taking notes. Xaz kind of expected some backlash but he actually went along with it. Good. Looking back towards his opponent, his friend Orion, he would offer a smile. When he said he wasn't going to hold back, he meant it. And he expected Oriont o do the same.
- He'd draw his bow, his regular crystals beginning to float about his body. As usual, his weaponry would begin to glow a bright gold. Dabih was lending him his power once more, it seemed. They stuck together through thick and thin. No matter what, they would have each others backs. That's why they formed the bond in the first place.
- When he first learned cosmic magic, he didn't really expect to delve that deep into it, but one day.. A single star entered the air around him- Dabih. She was fierce, and kind of cocky like Armis. She didn't want anybody telling her what to do and she always wanted to be in control. Yet, as the years went on, the relationship they had began to mold into something more than that.
- She began to realize that Xaz was just a fierce, but also level headed. She also realized that he respected her and no matter how much she disobeyed him in the past, he forgave her and talked to her like she was some princess. That's just how it was. Back to reality though.
- He'd close his eyes, his entire body beginning to emit a certain mana. Once again? It was Dabih's doing. He'd bite his lip as a unfathomable amount of mana began to ooze from his body. Just then, one would see a golden wing made out of said mana. As he slowly levitated from the ground, he would take a couple of breaths.
- It was still tiring, but not as bad. The toll on his body was alright. As the other wing began to form, it would stop midway. It was still a progress, but one could see he was getting closer.
- "Alright.. Let's.. ah.. Go."
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [21:28] Xaz would battle it out with the swordsman. Xaz was quite observant though. He had fought a lot of close combat fighters in his days, and he knew how they worked. Attack and retreat, or either attack and overstay. They tended to do the same thing. That's why he was able to precisely aim his crystals as the man ran quickly around the arena. Not only that, but as his eyes would turn into a golden hue, it seemed he was more focused than ever.
- As if he had some sort of target locater in his pupils.
- Drawing his bow back as Dabih continued to lend him her power, he'd fire a golden crystal towards the man. He noticed that Orion had gotten quite stronger since he last saw him. No matter. That didn't mean he could beat Xaz. Wearing a rather calmed expression, he would build up a javelin, placing it in the string of his weapon.
- Taking the fullness of the attacks that Orion spewed out, as the male went to retreated, Xaz would bend down on one knee, lining the bow up with his eyesight and closing the unused one. Drawing the string backwards, he would wait for a moment, holding his breath.
- Target acquired.
- Firing the javelin at a tremendous speed, it would travel towards Orion's feet and would pin him to the ground as the javelin broke off into a root of crystals. Noticing that, Xaz would, take a deep breath, letting the cosmos lead him as he flew over at the male at a rapid speed, dashing through him and sliding a few feet back. The effect was wearing off, so he had to act fast.
- The double beam was in play now. Firing off the beam of pure energy first, the root would break before he could actually shoot it, yet Orion still got hit by him. Seeing that, he would dash forward to fire a beam of cosmic energy next. Holding his breath once more, he'd fire a energy spell that pushed him back.
- "That all you got? C'mon, you can do better than that!"
- It seemed like this would be the second time that 'ole Dabih got into his head. Well not really got into his head, but more so.. They connected. They were one now. As the mana continued to burst out, and the wings continued to grow, one could see that he was changing a bit.
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [21:29] Difficult this fight was turning out to be, Orion had dashed through the field, not expecting the land to be showered in an array of cosmic energy... He thought about his options, and they were limited as his speed, his greatest advantage had been hindered by the binding energy of Xalzo Vylmes….
- Struggling to break out, he would only manage to get a few strikes in as the two held nothing back, trading blow for blow... He may have found it easy to defeat other Magi but it seemed like his friend Xazlo and Alexandrea were his greatest challenges to come...
- Despite his great speed and many attempts to teleport away from harm, he was unable to find an opening and was ultimately defeated in their initial round... Panting but still motivated to fight, the young Gladed One held up his sword, a massive blue spirit would appear behind him, the spirit of the Cetus Blade Style, there to increase his chances of victory through the flexibility of water.
- "That was intense, never did I face off against someone with both energy and the art of the cosmos... You're as skilled as I thought you'd be, this is exciting," said Orion.
- He stood with the same posture, channeling his energy to try and maintain this faux after image... Although it was not within his grasp to use freely, he'd continue to try. Like the great Ocean of Time, his energy would flow both calm and steady.
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [21:44] Xaz would seem even more focused now. A grin appearing across his face as he battled. As his eyes held that golden hue, it was obvious that he was combined with someone else now. Who other than that special star? He'd let out his entire arsenal upon the opponent. Orion would notice as they continued the fight, the wing would come into full effect now, and he was moving a bit faster.
- Flying, the young Crystal magi's accuracy would become a bit ridiculous. He didn't miss a single spell. And it seemed like he was enjoying himself quite a bit as a wicked grin would continue to appear across his lips. Well, if one wanted to know what the true meaning of the name Dabih was then.. Here's what she would say.
- "Slaughter! It's a slaughter!"
- He obviously wasn't speaking his mind right now. Still, inside of his head: Dabih, calm down! I don't want my friends to think I'm weird or something. I know we've come a long way, but just yell out threats like that!
- After a while, Xaz would see Orion pushing him a bit. That meant he had to go above one hundred percent. PLUS UL-. I mean.. Even more mana would ooze out of his body. It was as if he was powering up without screaming. Yet, the screaming part would come later. Kind of.
- "Aghh..!"
- He'd grab his head before seemingly teleporting into the sky, dodging Orion's attack. His whole body would begin to glow a golden hue now, his wings flapping furiously. Drawing his bow back with a tranquil expression on his face, he would gather all of his energy into this one attack.
- "Now fall... Galactic Glacier!"
- He'd fire a golden crystal once more, but this time it was different. There was a star on this one: Dabih. As it came into contact with the ground, a wall of crystals imbedded with the cosmic magic that he had just sewn together would emerge from the surface. His wings would begin to fade and he would land gracefully on his feet as they did so.
- Taking a couple of breaths, he'd wipe the sweat from his forehead. He had come out the victor as the glacier of crystals that shined a beautiful gold had dropped the young male.
- "Good.. fight.."
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [21:54] Their battle was pretty short ended, all due to the powerful blows Xazlo managed to dish out as well as his perfect strategy to hold Orion in place, hindering his speed to the maximum, this meant that the young knight had no other choice but to rely on his abilities to teleport... But even then the struggle was proven to be far, far too real as he would face the ever devastating power of Xazlo's cosmic and energy beams...
- Being pushed away by a massive meteor, having to run and maneuver himself around the land, Orion found himself to be pinned in a corner... Sweating bricks, trying his best to predict the next move! However, when someone as unpredictable as Xazlo fought, it became stressful, somewhat breaking his concertation, now having his eyes more focused on what will come next to him rather than what HE should do next to prevent it.
- Though there were times where Orion had the upper hand with his speed and even managed to teleport through the use of this falseafter image, delivering a heavy series of attacks... But that was not enough, not when dealing with such a powerful cosmic mage, someone capable of calling upon the blessings of the heavens for an earthly purpose.
- The two exchanged their attacks blow to blow, soaring within the skies above, chasing down one another... As the energy of the stars met the blade blessed by an ocean of time, the two fighters would find themselves to both be enjoying their little spar... This was where the climax would take place, as Orion focused the remaining portions of his energy into his core, applying the effects of his golden Ration theory to try and teleport towards Xazlo in order to deliver a series of multiple strikes...
- "Breaking My Limits! The world is mine for 7 tics!"
- Despite his best efforts, this is where he fell, taking on the full impact of Xazlo's Galatic Glacier! Falling down from the heavens and being shot into the ground, the ultimate finish betweentwo opposing friends, the poetic justice of heaven and earth, or rather the stars and sea coming to a conclusion in their friendly spar...
- As Orion struggled to stand once after being blasted into the ground or a nearby tree, he'd speak with an expression of gratitude, "That my friend, was amazing...You've emerged victorious."
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [21:59] Xazlo would place his bow onto his back and his hands onto his knees. Catching his breath for a second, he'd look over at Armis.
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [21:59] Xazlo Vylmes says, "Even in my ultimate form, you were able to push me, haha.."
- [21:59] Xazlo Vylmes asks, "So, Armis, what'd you get from all that?"
- [22:03] Finally able to stand after having to use his water aegis to heal himself, Orion chuckled lightly, smiling only to fall back onto the ground, seated.
- "Haha, well all thanks to Mother and Mei the swords woman... I enjoy the dojo in this land, I've been pushed more than I ever was at home within the Glade... But you power, it will only grow stronger, from a base steel to a fine silver."
- (Orion Sinclair)
- Later, they would invite a new-comer to train with them…
- [22:21] Up again for yet another match, Orion looked over at Armis, holding his sword with a steady grip, he wondered just what sort of art the fellow swordsmen would go for... So Orion gave some tips as he would also study the movements of Armis to determine what style was best suited for him...
- "When fighting, you will have to one day learn which element best resonates with your fighting spirit... The Earth? The Sky, The Sea or the Sun, all are reliable Blade Styles to follow, and you will have to make that decision the moment you get invested within an elemental art..."
- Orion would proceed to assume a good fighting stance, using the basic art of kendo as well as the blade style of Cetus. Once again, he would begin concentrating his energy to a single point, creating a thin aura around his body, one not too visible yet present... Again he would make such attempts in battle to utilize his False After Image ability, all for the sake of development....
- This Stand Master would focus on only one thing at a time, and at the moment, it was the perfection of his aura, but the next second.. He'd try his best to defend Armis and allow the fellow swordsmen to take advantage of any openings...
- "One thing you don't want to do is stand idle when he releases a storm of spells, for people like us, it's either dodge, or be strong enough to tank a blow... But I've yet to meet someone who could casually waltz through a massive energy beam..."
- He spoke from experience, always seeing his fellow swordsmen fall victim to the wrath of magic, but from time to time, the art of the sword would prevail and rise above all others. This life was truly a roundabout deal, for each ability there was something weaker to or stronger than it, making everyone's talents similar to that of a game of Rock, Paper, Scissor.
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [22:21] Tiff says, "Oh there's some of our guys."
- [22:21] Shu asks, "You know of them Soldier Tiff?"
- [22:21] Mei Xiang exclaims, "I know 'em, too!"
- [22:22] Shu says, "Ah, I see someone I am familier with as well."
- [22:22] Xaz would face both of them. He didn't know how far Armis had come since the last time they fought, so maybe this would be more of a challenge than he thought it would be. Drawing his bow once more, he would take a deep breath. He had to continue to use this power or else he wouldn't grow. Closing his eyes, he'd call upon Dabih once more.
- Dabih.. Once more. I need your powers, my friend. We both share a common goal and that is to acquire power. I promise you that in time, we will. Until then, I will need to master this newfound power you have given me. When I do, I also promise this.. I'll let you run wild and have your fun, heh. I know you've been itching to do so.
- A grin spread across his lips as once again the mana would emerge from his body. As it did, if anyone smart enough with eyes were looking at him, they would see the amount of mana coming from his body was inhumane. It was simply more than one should let go at one time, but he was doing it.. And he was doing it rather well.
- At the expense of his energy, he was granted power. The toll that the spell caused on his body was getting lessened the more he was practicing with it, but he knew that even when he did fully learn it, it would still be too much for him to handle. One simply should not emit so much mana.
- "Let us get started."
- As his star's mana would cover his body, and the two wings formed upon his back, he would stare at them as his bow and eyes glowed a golden hue. He had fun sparring to say the least.
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [22:22] Tiff says, "Yeah, we talked to some of them before. "
- [22:22] Shu says, "I think we should let them keep up their spar."
- [22:24] Armis says, "Yeah i know that of course... dodging and whatever, that's basic shit."
- [22:35] Moving throughout the battlegrounds with the grace of wind and the speed of a bullet, young Orion made sure to utilize his time acceleration abilities, making it so that not only himself but Armis would be able to move as swift as the passing winds... All thanks to the help of Armis, the young Glade knight was capable of by-passing the cosmic mages abilities, teleporting throughout the field...
- With a swift swing and a mighty power smash to deliver as Armis did what ever possible actions he could. The two had finally obtain the victory of their first round, because team work made the dream work especially in this case...
- "You did good Armis, now do the same and avoid all of his beams, those are what will defeat you as well as the wide area attacks...Be nimble, be quick.."
- With his False After Image aura still active, Orion remained as he was, standing with a loose posture, one strong for the Cetus Blade style.
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [22:36] Of course he lost, that's what he was expecting. He fell to the floor in pain, the beam of magic hit him hard. He tried using his sword to block it, but he was afraid that the potency of the attack would break it, so he kept the sword at bay and took the full force of the attack.
- He dropped his sword, struggling to even stand. As he forced himself back up, he bent over to re equip himself.
- "I told you... I wouldn't do shit..."
- (Armis)
- [22:39] Xaz would see that it wasn't going to be that easy for him. Being pushed back, he would take a deep breath, wiping the sweat from his forehead. Seemed like he was getting a bit sloppy. Time to change that up. Floating a bit higher in the air with assistance from his wings formed from the cosmos, he would draw his bow once more.
- "Not bad you two."
- As his body would emit that same golden hue as the mana continuing to exit his body, he would frown a bit. It seemed like it was time to get more serious. Dabih would travel down and plaster herself onto his bow. Grabbing one of his crystal arrows, he would nod to himself.
- "You actually pushed me back. But I promise to you, it will not happen again."
- His words held.. Some intensity. As if he was really out to get them. His ponytail would come loose as the levitation was causing a nice wind. As his hair drooped low, his golden eyes would scan them over. He figured that he had to come into this one with a better strategy.
- Kill them all.
- Not really.
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [22:46] Jiayi says, "<Huh....Weird.....I should go find that cave.>"
- [22:49] Were they trying to make fun of him? Mock him? He didn't see a point in this battle. He wasn't learning anything, he was only getting force feed pain. The only time he felt useful was when he was boosted by Orion, his magic. The fact he was only useful with magic disgusted him. He felt like throwing up right there.
- He wasn't actually, it was only a similar feeling. He brought himself back to a stand, changing his previous position of being on the floor face first.
- He repositioned his sword, but instead of pointing it towards Xazlo, he kept it closer to the side of his body. He turned to watch Orion, waiting for him to make the first move. He didn't feel the need to jump right into an opponent that could knock him down in one attack.
- (Armis)
- [22:49] Xaz would up the difficulty this time, dodging a lot of their attacks and landing his own as his control over the field of battle was pretty good. He wasn't new to the fighting two people at one scene, and it was obvious to tell. He handled them both pretty well after the first round, using his larger magics to hit both of them, but mostly to push Armis back.
- When Armis went down was when Xaz really took things to another level. He'd fly towards Orion with a rather serious look on his face. It looked as if Dabih was in complete control this time. As the opponent summoned a flooding spell of water, he would shake it off. He wondered if that were supposed to act like a barrier or something. Nonetheless, he'd be persistent, dashing through it.
- As Orion approached him and used the false after image, he would nod to himself. He'd drop his bow to his sides. This was something he never really did, so it was clear as daylight now that something was happening. Battle was his hobby, but right now.. It seemed like it was his purpose. He was more attuned than ever.
- As Orion would teleport around him, he would notice that as he delivered the blows, Xaz delivered his own, the ends of the bow hitting precise points that restricted Orion's movement. Throwing a javelin into the man's chest as he predicted where he would go, he would fly behind him to hold the bowstring against his throat before flicking him over towards Armis.
- "One more time. Let's go."
- He was fierce indeed.
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [22:49] Rays of cosmic energy were fired throughout the battlefield, this placed both Orion and Armis at a huge disadvantage as they would be forced into either fleeing away from such attacks or facing the wrath of their extreme power... This however did not stop Orion from trying to advance forward, channeling energy into the runes of his sword in order to stab it into the ground once after he managed to teleport behind Xazlo, summoning a flood...
- He did this to both defend and heal himself and his team mate, however it would not be enough to defend them from what's to come... Dashing through the grass, making his many attempts to teleport behind that Xaz, the young swordsmen would try his best to slice through any if not all of the attacks...
- But...
- He couldn't move as fluently as he once did early as his movements were restricted by the energy binding spell once more... Orion felt the sting, the defeat of this round... Though he was defeated, he would rise up once more, grabbing ahold of his Glyph-Blade.
- "That one stung a lot," said Orion, gritting his teeth almost.
- For this moment, he would call upon the Ocean Spirits, Cetus...
- (Orion Sinclair)
- [23:00] Xaz would show his dominance and prowess and he maneuvered his way around the field. He was able to endure more than a lot due to his crystals that floated around his demeanor taking some of the hits for him. They didn't completely block the damage, but rather.. Gave him a boost as they knocked the crystal into his body.
- As he would dash towards Orion after building up a meteor of cosmic energy, he'd completely obliterate him, throwing beam after beam into his chest. Noticing that he still was standing, he'd nod to himself before restricting his movements once more and sending a burst of pure mana into his stomach, sending him flying into a tree.
- Looking towards Armis now, he'd fly towards him, grabbing his head. This wasn't any question. He had this W locked down. He'd fly into the sky, throwing Armis up a bit as he did so. Descending, he would aim his bow into the air.
- "Crystal Make: Star Shower."
- As crystals formed above the young boy, they would all direct towards him. That said, the stars would seemingly fall from the sky itself, not only to land on the ground, but also the crystals as well. As they fused together, the crystals, being on steroids, would fall down onto Armis and would send him flying to the ground.
- Not really wanted to cause much injury to the boy, he'd create a wall of crystal that caught the boy before he made contact with the surface. Soon, he would return to his feet, the golden hue that surrounded his eyes and body reverting.
- "Good fight, haha!"
- (Xazlo Vylmes)
- [23:03] With their battle being short, this was not all due to the pacing but rather the level of skill and abilities used when on the field... Orion had made good use of his abilities to teleport and maneuver himself around the plain but it would not be to such an extent where he would be able to avoid everything...
- Those beams got the best of him, blasting him away, sending him to crash into the grass... Part of their fight likely took place within the sky since both Xalzo and Orion were capable of flight, but this did not hinder the young knight from working with Armis..
- From time to time, he would utilize his abilities to help the fellow swordsmen but in the end, Xazlo stood on top. But the spar only gave them all the more experience, facing off against a wide array of magical abilities.
- "Aye, good match and good work Armis, I'm pretty sure that in no time, you'll be able to compete with Magi."
- (Orion Sinclair)
