personality: Unlike most of todays "hipsters", she's relatively chilled out. She won't try to fight you to say she was the first to find a now-popular band, and you'll rarely hear her say "oh, you wouldn't have heard of them". She seems incredibly sweet to start with, but she can quickly turn to a cold front, around certain people. She's a quieter girl, and would rather not go to a party, which is what pushed her to the "hipster" group in the first place. She's a hard worker, and incredibly passionate about what she does. Which explains her huge dislike of people who would rather slack off, and take what they have for granted. Again, another thing that makes her seem like a "hipster" is her willingness to stand up for what she believes for, rather to sit back and let everything go by. She's quite an activist, and her close friends see her as extremely motivational, but in a mom-way.

Speaking of mom-like, that's how to describe her in a few words. She isn't necessarily cool, or "down with the kids", and she's perfectly aware of this, so she stays out of the way when it comes to "modern talk", although she does enjoy embarrassing her friends with her mom-like ways.

She's extremely selfless, and will always go out of her way to help someone, stranger or friend, in need. This can also be her downfall, as she can never say no if someone asks her for something, or a favour. If she thought she could help someone, she would probably give away all her money.

She works very well under pressure, and is brilliant with advice, which leads her to seem very trustworthy. Even to those she isn't close with, she acts as an "agony aunt", and knows pretty much everything about everyone.

Unfortunately, acting as a councillor to so many people leads to her becoming quite stressed. She hides this very well, but she'd appreciate having someone to help her more than anything.

In short, Liqiu is a quieter girl, who'd rather read a book than go to a party. She has a few friends outside the "hipster" group, and is on good terms with pretty much everyone. She's known for being extremely mom-like, and loving to anyone she meets. That is, unless you're someone who takes what they have for granted, or a slacker.

background: Liqiu was raised in a middle-class family. Her parents were respectable office workers, and her brother was a child genius, self-taught in three languages. Liqiu was quickly put under a lot of pressure from schools to be as good as her brother. However, although she wasn't stupid, she wasn't any kind of genius. She worked hard, however, and was extremely popular. At a young age, she found a passion for photography, and capturing the moments in life she was grateful for. To start with, her parents were disappointed that she wasn't the same as her brother, but seeing her love, they let her pursue her hobby further. When she was 15, the family moved to S.Korea, partially due to the parents' business, but also for Liqiu's sake, as she had been offered a place at a professional arts school. Liqiu didn't have much trouble fitting into S.Korean life, as her brother had briefly taught her some Korean before he left for university in America. She expressed herself through photography and film, and tended to stay quiet.

how'd you meet: One of the most cliche scenes; during classes. While Liqiu's working hard taking notes, the LI is leant back in his chair, making sarcastic comments. Liqiu quickly becomes irritated by him, and refuses to help him out. After this first incident, he tries to talk to her after class, but she runs off before he can get to her. She makes a point of being nice to the others around them, and being cold towards him. Her reason is simply because she hates people who take what they have for granted.

your first impression: At first, she really doesn't like him. She thinks he's a no good slacker, and is quite short-tempered. After he seems to be making an effort for her, her cold front to him begins to crack.

his first impression: He thinks she's a stuck up goodie-two-shoes, and is amused by how much he irritates her. At the same time, he think's she's really pretty, and starts playing up so she'll pay attention to him. After he stops getting a reaction from her, he tries to work harder to make her see he isn't a slacker.
