How can I be at a place
Where the rainbow lies
Leading me to the summer
Where at peace I lay
Down my head in pity
Just for the same
As you see me indifferently

How much more
To the wind's storm
I must carry on for
The whispers of chill
Lay me to rest
Be the best for me, still
Where the rainbow lies

Why do we sleep
For ever in eternal nights
Some to calm the wake
In these dire straits
Without gleam from the lights
I make peace unto self
For better or for worse
At least in health

I've told many a stories
Some of own and some from wise
Of how can one please
When I come from the dear
To spread laughter
And to unfortunate, a good cheer
