- Squadrons- Squadrons are an important tool in the Shields. Their role in the Shields of the Pilot's Federation is chosen by their Squad leader. A single squadron consists of the Leader, and four flight leaders, who are chosen by the squad leader. All flights under the squadron will need to fall under at least one of the roles of the squadron. The name of the squadrons are chosen by the Squad leader upon conception.
- 108th Squadron- The 108th Squadron is the Corps first and primary PVE combat squadron. The 108th is managed by the Council Leader, Radia Daku. While he will occasionally go out and explore the deep black, he will always be a bounty hunter at heart. This squadrons roles are as follows, RES Bounty hunting (PVE) and Xeno-Combat

- Flights- Flights make up the majority of the Shields navy. Without them, the Shields has no true way of fighting. A single flight consists of the flight leader and three other flight members. Flights have designated roles that are chosen from the Squad roles by their flight leaders, and are named by their flight leader. While the members of a flight are allowed to wing up with anyone they choose, when the flight leader calls for a sortie, those members are required to wing up with their flight leader. A sortie is called when a flight leader requires the help of his or her members on a mission, or when a Squadron leader calls on his or her flight leaders to do a particular task.
