[The shiny of the pendant is unbelievably complex for an item. Allowing short range telepathic interactions with itself as the focus. As Terese said, it allows for the transfer of memories, experiences and emotion, but at a cost. It will shape the mind and shiny of anyone who uses it to resemble those who also wear it. On a closer inspection, there is a secondary function to it that ramps up empathy in the absence of other connections. To the point where it could start mimicing other people's minds and shinies. Wether they have a pendant or not.]

[On a quick inspection, Terese's shiny seems completely healthy. No damage from corruption, knight syndrome, or anything like that. On a second, much deeper inspection, there is /massive/ Angelic damage. It is unlikely that someone who only had a session or two of experience would have missed this completely. The burning is hiding underneath a simulacrum of a healthy shiny that seems to be helping Terese function. The burning has done so much damage that if the mimicry was not there, she would be unable to function to any real extent.]
