  1. Ayumu Capris lifted his head a bit when he head the door open. He tilted his head some as his trio of eyes stared at the other wolf that was put into the cage with him. The glow was... spectacular to his eyesight. A lot of glowy things were since he could see colours and spectrums others couldn't. He shifted his position a little bit and then grunted some to himself before he leaned forward, knees up and forearms on his knees, "Ah... a penmate..." The dire wolf was not nearly as... feisty today, perhaps it was early, or perhaps he wasn't as agitated at the moment, but whatever the reason, he wasn't showing any aggression or signs of being a threat to anyone, more apathy than anything. The snout that shoved through the bars made him blink and he stared at Tahvi for a moment, "Oh.. Hey." He said and tilted his head, "I don't have a choice, Tahvi. I fucked up and now I get to wear this, and be a shit towards patrons." He flicked the lion-headed collar about his neck. It hampered all of his >> Ayumu Capris: >> abilities completely and then sighed, "Unless you have money to pay for a rental, I can't just come out." He noted the petal she had. His lips twitched into a small smile, that little thing, that one small thing gave him a bit of a warm feeling. She still had it. [Busana, Tahvi, open]

  3. Tahvi's ears picked up on the music but thought nothing of it. There were more important things at hand. "Ayu... what's wrong?" This was bad. Maybe her pea-brain was making the situation out worse than it actually was, and despite his lack of wanting to move, she still wanted to get him out of there. "Maybe... if I give Muunoklio's all my shinies he'll let you go? She had a rather impressive stash squirreled away in a billion different places. Busana's investigation seemed to do anything but please the Zykla, though her top lip twitched in a failing attempt to hide the baring of teeth for getting too close to her plant-friend, not a single sound came out. "Can we go to the hot water puddles? Maybe that will help you..."
  4.
  5. Busana . That statement would get a pretty typical response from someone like Busana: She would simply stare. The concept of him being a plant would be... well. Foreign. She would continue to sit there, glancing between him and the bowls of basically garbage they'd been served for lunch, frowning as she picked it up again. One by one the bowls were removed from beside her, placed in front of Ayumu. At the very least, it would cause her to have to scoot back just a bit, allowing there to be space between them. He and Tahvi both would no doubt appreciate that. With the mask still hanging from the side of her face, there would be nothing to hide the stern, and slightly disapproving, look that Busana would be giving to the plant wolf in the next second. She wasn't mad. She was just disappointed. A hand would then push the bowls towards him, to the point of even touching him, as she continued to sit there and stare. [Ayumu, Tahvi]

  7. Alsatia. Cestíya would soon transition to a different melody, but still manage to keep the different tones gentle, as to not impose on the other patrons nearby too much. But her own enthusiasm for music was like a contagion spreading throughout her body, and before long she was no longer enjoying that cushioned seat, but instead standing up, her body turning and twisting in a slow dance to the music, the blue of her hair whisking about her form, but not at all hindering her. And all this with her eyes closed, to boot. It was a wonder she didn't just trip and fall. At least she hoped, despite her odd antics, that what she produced was soothing to someone. Before long, she would let the melody trickle away, staying her body, before she opened her eyes again. And then promptly just scooting back to her seat, plopping down into it, a little thrown off by herself. Conflicted, much?
  8.
  9. Ailuin would arrive in the main hall with certainly no grandeur. Attired in what to him, was truly simple clothes. Ailuin made his first public appearance, mismatched eyes gazing and speculating at all the chairs. Hands running them over and noticing with a slight tsking noise the mainhall chairs that had the slaves at either side, held no back resting adornment. Shameful. With a huff at the idea of pillows being just tossed in the middle as if it was a good idea, Ailuin slicked his ears back and simply shook his head side to side. Gloved hands with tophat atop his head doing their very best (and usually well done) to hide any and all crystals on his person that grew out of him marking him an Arkaine. He didn't mind some knowing but on first sight? He didn't need that attention. Hell, didn't want it. The merchant was twisting his hands when his nose came across a very strange scent. Mismatched eyes lit up like christmas, turning his elognated foxlike shadowed muzzle to turn and twitch>> in Ayumus direction. Hands smartly clasped behind his back, suddenly as he observed the situation between the four in the mainhall before stepping closer to Ayumu. "Pardon me, Miss." came his response to Tahvi, who was clearly currently, in the middle of talking to him. "But if I might talk to the gentleman?" Gloved hand gesturing to Ayumu and flashing on his left ring finger, a fire opal band that had clearly been cut just to flash said jewelry top and securing the rest of it beneath the leather folds. "Lovely music, by the way." was offered over to Alsatia, but not looking directly at her. Long jacket covering most of his oddities carried on his belt, clearly patiently awaiting with such manners, to speak to Ayumu next. His eyes meanwhile observed Busana as well, but he made no remark or clearly held no interest in her as he did Ayumu. [Everyone so far]
  10.
  11. Ayumu Capris shakes his head a little bit, "I am not for sale, Tahvi. The Tether wishes to profit off of me since I fucked up what I had agreed to. The Rah won't let me go that easily." He barked a laugh, "I'm also sure he'd want me broken and trained so I can be even more profitable, but so far, I've been a drain on his resources. So let's see what the viking man does with me, whether he gets someone to do something about me or has me ditched into the ocean." He shrugged a little. He looked down at the bowls as they touched him and he sighed, "I can't eat, girl. I really can't. My kind don't need food." He was enjoying the music, despite his somber mood, but it was the Arkaine that caught his attention. What was with him and Arkaines? He peered up at the man and just stared for a moment, "What do you want?" He was still seated comfortably on the floor, not opting to stand, or even kneel. He was in no traditional position that a slave should be in. He just didn't care, nor was he broken and >> trained to be how the Tether likes their slaves. After all, he would be solely owned by the establishment. Whether he gets put up for sale once he had made enough profit for the Tether was up to them. [Busana, Tahvi, Ailuin, open]
  12.
  13. Tahvi's frowned creased her face when he told her he wasn't for sale. "But you just said I could take you out for a little bit if I had enough shinies..." Now the simple creature was more than confused. "You should come with me to the hot waters. They make the hurt go awa---" And then Captain Tophat showed up. Both ears shot back flat against her head, mismatched eyes narrowed to slits as she tipped her noggin up to stare at him and give him a rather unsavory snarling growl. Planty-boi didn't seem too thrilled with his apperance either. "I was here first. Go away." The zykla wasn't done plotting with Ayu yet.
  14.
  15. Busana . Suspicious eyes continued to narrow themselves in the direction of the plant dog, lips thinning. Ok. Now she wasn't disappointed. She was mad. Tail flicked behind her like some kind of angry cat as she scooted a bit closer, erasing that needed personal space from before. She was more than aware that Tahvi was saying words, but the semi broken common of the zykla and her own semi broken understanding of common weren't really working any favors when paired together. Nostrils flared once more as she released a grunt, hand extended out towards him. She touched where her nose had been before, the proceeded to point at the soup... all before Ailuin came near and tried to gather attention. Bitch turned towards him for just a moment before lips thinned into a line, quickly taking that mask from the side of her face and returning the skull over her. He didn't deserve to see her face, just these two. She was... at least kind of ok with them. [Ayumu, Tahvi, Ailuin ment.]
  16.
  17. Alsatia. Cestíya bristled a little at the compliment she was given. She'd tried to hide herself away in her seat, like she'd done something terrible or inconvenient for others, and she didn't know which. When the words reached her ears, her chin jerked up and she eyed the individual whom she could determine was the source. Another abrupt movement, she tried to stand herself back up, if anything, then to bow to the person who complimented her, and again to the injured creature in the pen, whose compliment had fueled her enthusiasm before. With a childlike twinkle in her eye and a smile that reached close enough from ear to ear, she tried to hide her flute away.. Maybe she could attract more listeners elsewhere... And off she scurried, this time on not as light feet, to get lost in the Tether, seeing as she was slightly directionally challenged, and didn't remember the place well enough yet. [exit]
  18.
  19. Ailuin blinked at the strange creatures' rudeness. Mismatched eyes, unseen by the shadow of his brim, observed her fully, leaning towards her with his hands still respectfully clasped behind his back, despite her naked state his eyes didn't linger as if checking her out. He certainly wouldn't do that. Must be tribal, however, he figured, to just go walking around naked in the middle of broad daylight in public. "I must say, it's not common for people like you to have manners. But you should at least practice it. Absolutely you were here first, and if you wish to follow us I have no qualms over it. But are you going to rent him or are you going to continue to waste the guards time?" was asked to her, gesturing to the guards who were glancing between the patrons with slight interest. They seemed, unlike the rest of them, to know him very well. The mask being shifted to hide her face was noticed, as was Ayumus adruptness. >>Ailuin"I wish to understand what you are, where you come from, and other scientific things that I would delight in discovering." came his curt reply to Ayumu, straightening up and brushing his hand over his vest while turning to address Ayumu properly. "I assure you no pain, and an hour of freedom afterward, if that is akin to your liking so you can spend some proper time alone, with just her." was offered, gesturing to Tahvi to indicate which female he was speaking of. He didn't mind the bristles of his sudden intrusion, certainly they should be on guard of a stranger. Especially on an isle such as this. So he clearly didn't take any offense to the guardedness of the four, and then the three. He simply hmmmed at the mask, wondering what skull it was from. In which he'd inquire of the slave, pointing a finger at it. "What is that a skull of?" Surely, if she wore it, she knew the beast who had it before. [Ayumu, Tahvi, Busana, Alsatia ment)
  20.
  21. Ayumu Capris inhaled some and sighed, "It's not going to help, Tahvi... I don't want you wasting your money on me." Stubborn as always, though. He rolled his shoulders a bit, "I don't really know what anyone can do for me, other than what the establishment wants of me." He shrugged a little bit and he looked at Busana when she poked at him and he scowled at her, "Don't bother... It's gone." He finally said, anyone listening and able to pick out tone, could hear the hint of emotional pain in his voice when he said that. The dire wolf shook his head and let himself be distracted by the dapper male, "Well, good sir, I don't know how much you'll glean from me without cutting me open and taking me apart... Besides, why the interest? It's not like my species has never been seen before. In fact a very important figure here is one of my kind. Rennata Ariday." He shrugged a bit. The wolf was really not using any proper form of address with anyone. Who knows what repercussions that was going to have >>>> with the handlers and the like, but no one had corrected him so far, and so he didn't really change how he spoke to anyone. [Ailuin, Tahvi, Busana, open]
  22.
  23. Busana . In the same fashion she had before, the arrival of Ailuin was met with scrutiny and distrust from the practically feral femme. While he certainly wasn't getting a warm welcome from the gathered group, save for maybe the plantdog, he would perhaps get the most frosty of looks from the Huntress. Bright yellow eyes regarded the Arkaine, hidden as he was under those clothes, with an unnerving amount of focus and attention. It was almost as if she could read deep into his soul, see through that clothing to bare everything below. Shift was given before back was put towards the male outside the cage, and shoulder given to Tahvi, as she turned back towards Ayumu. Ears flicked back for just a moment as lips thinned to a hard line, tilting her eyes only barely towards Ailuin. It was perfectly targeted to make sure he knew that he'd heard her.. and that she had no intention of answering him. Finally she faced >> Ayumu once more, those ears pinned back against her head. It was... dead? She was animal enough to understand the pain in his voice, and was cultured enough to to understand he should not be in this cage if this was true. Now she was pouting. Way to go, Ayumu. [Ayumu, Ailuin, Tahvi]
  24.
  25. Tahvi's brows lifted at Tophats claim that she had no manners. "You shouldn't talk about manners. You have none. I was here first, he's my friend not yours or your stupid head thing." She muttered something about the flat-top of his hat making him look like an ugly table. Granted, she was wasting the guards time, at least for now. "I'm going to.. take him out as soon as I find my shinies---" And then the deal came out of the strangers mouth. Tahvi shut up and hissed to herself in defeat. It was a better deal and she wouldn't have to go dig up more coin if she played her cards right. "You better not hurt him or I'll bite you."
  26.
  27. Ailuin"Ailment, if you would be so kind." came his response that annoyingly held that cool calm collected tone almost controlled like quality to it that seemed...robotic. Ear flicked back as amusement was felt at his response to his inquiry. "You would be surprised, I am a man of science, I do not require large samples as you presume." was stated to Ayumu, raising an eyebrow. "I do not know this Rennata Ariyday, and I do not want her samples. I want yours. But why the interest? Discovery is my interest. It always has been my interest, and despite you claiming there is documentation of your kind, I doubt they go in-depth of detail as I do. Would you be so kind to agree to this trade? Hour of free time for an hour of my time needed from you? I reassure you that any harm will be healed before your hour is up." He noticed the altercation between Busana and Ayumu with sharp observant eyes as always. >> Ailuin seemingly amused over Busanas soulful searching stare, in which was so far, hidden from her view with his eyes being mostly shadowed. But if she was searching and could in fact, search, what she discovered might surprise her. He wished no harm upon anyone on this isle. Not one. However, he certainly did NOTICE it even if he didn't call attention to it or return it. Though her outright refusal to answer his question did little to stop Ailuin from flipping open a smaller piece of parchment and quickly sketching a rough about picture of the skull she bore. He would certainly find out, with or without her aide, it seemed. Folding the parchment and quill tucked away into his pocket on his right side of his vest. Ears flicked back as his long fluffy tail swayed side to side, clearly waiting for a response with his hands reassuming their tucked behind their back position. Tahvis defensive statement as she adruptly claimed he had none simply had Ailuin glancing back to her with a raised >>Ailuin eyebrow. "Hat, Miss. It's a hat." came his response, clearly showing startingly control of his own emotions despite Tahvis severly lack of it. Tail twitched, nose sniffed her over in curiousity. "I believe you." came his response to her mention of if he did hurt Ayumu, she would bite him. She certainly looked like a wild dog who had no leash and collar, even of her own making or control. With that, Ailuin would place the coin for two hour rental into the Guards hands, and with a clasped hand behind his back, stride right for the den. All while digging his pockets for a pipe. Clearly aiming to smoke a bit of opium to help him clear his ever going mind. [Exit, Ayu, Busana, Tahvi]
  28.
  29. Ayumu Capris inhaled some and let it out. Busana's looks at him, the pounting broke what his kind considered a heart. He lowered his head, trying to collect himself. He didn't want to think about this, he didn't want to remember what happened. The night terrors about it were bad enough, he didn't want to actively think about it, "Don't worry, Wolf... I'll be okay..." He said and then looked at Tahvi, watching her get upset, "I suppose if he's renting me for scientific reasons, you should just come along to make sure he doesn't hurt me. Then you can bite him if he does... And... With what he says, we can just go to the hot springs after." He shrugged a little. Two birds, one stone. He slowly stood up and grunted a little, pressing a hand to his belly for a moment, "Nng.. Cramps..." He mumbled, "Alright, Sir..." He moved to the door, his chains rattling. He was still bound so he couldn't do a lot other than move. Once any payment was made, the measly 5g he was worth, the guard opened the cage >> and hauled the dire wolf over to Tahvi and Ailuin, "Lead the way I suppose. I can't say I'm co-operative, but right now... I simply don't have the will to act out." At least he was honest. Of course, Busana might note the small droplets of blood left behind from where he had been sitting. Blood and sap, but it was very little. He waited for the Arkaine and the Zykla to lead the way. The guards didn't remove his chains, figuring he was still too unruly to take them off for the time being. [Busana, Ailuin, Tahvi, pending exit.]
  30.
  31. Tahvi nodded to Ayu. "I'm going to." As if Tahvi was going to let this weirdo take away her friend who was suddenly a slave, in pain and not feeling all okay in the head. "And if he hurts you, I'm going to bite him." Her threat was loud enough for Hat-man to hear. Small feet bounced the zykla over to the gate to stand next to Ayu as he exited, her tail wrapped around his lower back and waist as if to help him move along but providing no real support of any sort. At least she was quiet and by his side, for now.
  32.
  33. Ailuin puffed on his pipe, opium soon enough filling the den that no doubt, still had the lingering scent of it. But by the scent of Ailuin, he was definitely addicted to the drug. Tail swayed casually side to side as he puffed while his hat was smoothly removed first, reveleaing the telltale Arkaine horns, but the crystal pattern was strange no doubt. Forming, if one was of artistic tendencies, a lily shape. It was then that the hands would shift to grasp a leather covered parchment stacked book, pulling out his quill once more from that left pocket, placing this aside as well as his inkwell that was stashed in a vial that had been stealthily covered in right pocket. It was then that his hands went for the next object, a empty vial which was uncorked. "Since you are crafty in gathering material, do you mind terribly of giving me a full vial of his blood?" was asked to Tahvi. >>clearly expecting her to aide him in his efforts. All while Ailuin would procure a sharp pair of scissors, if one was watching him closely they might notice with the constant back and forth the man came prepared with quite a belt of items on him. Pulling the scissors in front of him, Ailuin would pause as his mismatched purple and orange eyes stared at him cooly. "Do you mind, terribly, if you'd cut a sample of your leaf hair? I can heal that wound if you'd like." The scissors would be handed to Ayumu, as well as the key held in his hand from the guard on a sly manuever he had done, likely displaying his pickpocketing capability as he placed the key into the lock and unlocked the slave so that he could do as requested. He had already bluntly and honestly stated, he had no desire to fight his predicament. Ailuin knew that for now, he told the truth. Thusly he was confident in unbarring the slave. "The pain however, would likely remain. And there are two ways I could heal but I>> will insist on only offering a sample of my healing potion."
  34.
  35. Ayumu Capris didn't mind when Tahvi escorted him. He shuffled his way to where Ailuin wanted to take them and when they were there, he tilted his head a little bit when handed the scissors and his bonds were unlocked. He rubbed his wrists, which looked rather raw, probably because he hadn't had them taken off in days, and he shook his head, holding the scissors out, "I don't need these to give you a sample painlessly..." He shrugged a bit and reached up, plicking a red petal from his head and he held it out, "You honestly won't get a whole lot out of that other than it won't die unless I die." He stated, "And... No... Nothing can... rid me of the pain I feel right now, I can only heal from it and move on... Whatever happens to me from the moment I was hurt on... I... Really don't care anymore..." He stated. Once the sample was given, he folded his arms, "What else do you want from me?" He asked.
  36.
  37. Tahvi was like glue to Ayu's side, never wandering more than a foot away from him at any given time. Like a good little creature, she remained quiet while Tophat did his talking and asked Ayu for samples and.... asked her to take his blood? Both ears shot back, top lip curled in complete and utter disgust at him. "No." Not only that, she had no idea how to get blood beyond biting into something and shaking her head to rip open flesh and muscle... and that was certainly something she was not willing to do. "Please stop talking like that..." Ayu's words pulled her attention back to him. "I'm going to try and fix it. I promise. I don't know what yet, but... it'll be okay." Poor thing was just about to cry.
  38.
  39. Ailuin observed with a sharp look between the two. But he said nothing of himself. Hands tucked sharply behind his back as Ailuin explained that, nodding. "Intriguing. I need a sample of your skin, which would not be painless but I am certain according to your words, you will be alright giving me this?" Ears pricked as he observed the third eye peeking through his leafhair with a clearly curious look. Strides stepping in a tight circle around Ayumu. "Well I shall need nail, fur, skin and blood samples of course. Two vials each will do." was resounded with a hmm. "I also would love to sample some of your third eye fluid, if you would let me. Since you are close to tears anyway recently, shouldn't be too hard. I do apologize for the loss, it must be difficult on you." was resounded, clearing his throat. "But I would also like samples of your fluids from both areas." Was he regarding such as in from his dick AND vagina? How intrusive! >> but he had asked the scientist. All of this was rattled off with little emotion spoken as he paced around him curiously. His hands roamed the back of his shoulders, tracing the tattoos as he hmmed. "The tattoos are crystals? Fascinating." was muttered. "I'd like samples of these as well. Two vials of everything, just in case your female hormones make any difference in these samples. I wonder if I might have to procure this again when you are less estrogen filled." Ears The refusal to gather his own blood had Ailuin glancing to her as she spoke her concerns and upsets. "You are upset over his state. But he is accepting of it. Perhaps you should learn that sometimes bad things happen for the door to open to new good things, Tahvi, was it?" was stated. All while his hands found some secret areas that intrigued him, and Ailuin would of course, ask politely if he may have samples of things found as well from these places. >>as well, while remaining silent of his own thoughts of what it might be. Glancing to Tahvi as he felt she was pacing like a lioness over her cub. So he thought it best for now, to be sated with the samples he was able to retrieve and return later for those he might need again or desire different ones or answers of course.
  40.
  41. Ayumu Capris inhaled some and then grunted a bit, "It's okay, Tahvi..." He said softly and he lifted his arm, pausing for a moment, "Fine..." He used a claw, sharp as it was, to cut himself and get a small sample of fur and flesh, which really was moss and bark respectively. It caused him to bleed and he held his arm out to Tahvi, "There, you can collect my sap now." Which was red-tinged amber in colour. He let Ailuin poke and prod while he made sure to get the sampled he wanted, of course, that did necessitate him reaching under his loin cloth and get some samples there too, but that was it. The one vial was filled with a glowy, almost honey-coloured fluid, while the other a clear-though blood-tainted fluid in the other. He wouldn't let him dig into the pouch at the back of his neck or the slit along his left forearm, but once samples were taken that he was comfortable giving, he finally sat down, heavily. When Ailuin left with his samples to do his sciency stuff, he lowered his head, "I'm >>>> sorry, Tahvi... I'm.. I'm so sorry... I.. I don't want you to see me like this.." He covered his face. The wolf was very mentally broken. He ad been destroyed in ways that he couldn't even describe and he knew it would only get worse, if how his parents ended up after years in this place were any indication. He was doing everything he could to not break and cry. He wanted to, but he knew he had to try to be strong.
