Minh and her older sister grew up with seperated parents. One year they would be living in Saigon and the next in Paris- this made their childhood (especially Minh's) very lonely at time- it has influenced her attitude today. Because both parents were married to new partners, there wasn't a lot of attention on the girls, their parents didn't even know the girls had their special abilities and the sisters were raised with bad influences.
Kristin was a good child- she took after their French mother while Minh looked more Viet. She was often teased for not having a proper family and having a sister that looked nothing like you didn't help either. No one ever taught her that twisting words and playing with people's minds was wrong- so she continued without a care in the world.

- personality:
Minh is feared by most people at the academy, and she loves it. Yes she's nasty and rude- but you can't reaally blame her because she grew up rough (she doesn't mind that people talk behind her back anyways). She's quick to judge and has a way with her words- so it's best not to piss her off, especially early in the morning.

Her mood turns sour when people mention anything to do with her sister- the prettier, smarter, kinder, more popular sister that she couldn't keep up with.

On rare occasions, Minh will be sweet, but it's probably only to get someone to do a favour for her. She's a real pain for her teachers, passing classes with flying colours but disrupting class every now and then with a rude comment and mindless back chat. She has a soft spot for the people she likes, and it seems to be her only social weakness.

She has made it her duty to annoy people, especially her really small group of friends that she's closest with. The only time she won't open her big mouth to diss [omg did i just say that] people is when she's training with her powers or tired.

At first, she thought she had her sister's power of water, because she could perform the powers her sister showed her, but then when she saw other people use their powers she was also able to copy those powers. She was only 13 when she discovered her power, 8 when she learned to copy her sister's power

BEGINNING -- Empathy always hated being around Minh, because even at a 5-meter radius, he could feel her strong emotions of hate anger and sadness ;A; She wanted to get to know him better because he was different to most people- something that was making her curious was how he could just isolate himself without grabbing attention. o.o

MIDDLE -- she started to hang around him more because the more he ignored her, the more she became interested in him. When he told her to stop going near him, she was offended and demanded to know why- and of course he told her- because he didn't like feeling the strong emotions she had, he couldn't handle them [:p cheesy- sorry]

END -- so minh stopped hanging around him and he got a little worried (and pitied her for feeling negative all the time) because her negative emotions only grew stronggerr. and wow- thats when she realised that she was acting like a meanie pants so she began to be a lot nicer to people bc she wanted to make her (crush) proud. uwu
and he noticed (woowwww) and really appreicated it and then they became friends and ended up dating

she's put in attack and fights recklessly, her team don't really have a defense but her strong attacks should be enough to protect them.
