» sarina isnt that bad of a girl despite what neitzens like to say about her hating her fans or members. she is only salty or mean because she is afraid. growing up, people always looked down on her, always acted as if they wanted to harm her. she figures that she might as well treat people how they treated her to prevent from being hurt. she is always rolling her eyes at the things the members say, even if she doesn't even understand it or thinks its actually funny. she always has to be right even if all the evidence is stacked against her. if you want someone to do something for you without bringing up something fron 2 years ago, sarina is not your gal because she is quick to bring out receipts of even the smallest thing. she has a nasty attitude and will be as sarcastic and bitchy as they come when she feels like it, even if it is just in a introduction. 99% of the time however, she is silently judging others and making sarcastic comments to herself. one thing that the members understand well is that she does not play around. if she says something, she means it and it's best to act instantly or else expect to have a book thrown at you. she isnt the leader nor does she want the position but as the oldest, she needs to keep them all in line and they only seem to respond to her yelling at them like a military general. she will 100% of the time be brutally honest and will not hesitate to step into someone's face to put them where they need to be, man or woman, senior or not. especially if they come for her group members because only she can do that.

» sarina growing up was an outcast on multiple fronts, making her a constant target for adults and children alike everywhere she went. her father was very young when her mother, about 5-6 years older, had her before moving back to china and leaving him to care for her. single fathers weren't very common and for a single, teen father it was hard to guard your child from the ridicule and harsh words but he tried his hardest to provide for them on his own. his parents refused to claim him and if they were around they would try to hurt sarina. for a few years, they hopped from place to place, from onw person's home to another. her father had lots of pride and would refuse to beg or accept help from people, promising to repay anyone who showed them the slightest bit of kindness. they hit an enormous bump on the road when they couldn’t find anywhere to stay and had to live on the streets. sarina was 7 but hadn't attended school ever, her father so worried she would suffer abuse of any kind for either being half or not having a home. she didn't actually mind, mostly because that's all she knew. she was never a super happy or energetic child, quietly listening to her father try to cheer her up or teach her something she was missing from school.

» they lived like that for 2 years, barely having enough to eat and often getting sick. she was very weak and underweight for her age, barely able to move until 4 in the afternoon. she felt as if she was going to die but there was a woman who decided to take them in, feeling sorry for the young family. they were wary at first but because she was so weak and barely able to stay awake for more than 2 hours at a time, they agreed to live with her until sarina's father managed to make steady income. sarina was still unable to go to school, her body not recovering fast from all the years barely being able to eat at all. she was a smart kid despite having no education, able to pick up on things fast and master them easily. she hardly spoke but her actions were loud and clear, attention completely on her when she commanded it. at 10, she began to be home schooled by nayan daokamjarasseng, the woman they lived with, and surprised her with how quickly she picked things up and how dedicated she was. despite how her father thought she was ignorant to the world, she knew too much. she saw how some people would spit at them or just say awful things. she saw how some men and women looked at her with strange eagerness in their eyes as the called her to come closer. it was hard for her to not be afraid of people who wanted to hurt her or wanted her to disappear when she was only trying to survive just like them. things didn't get easier because one day she woke up to find that her father had died in an accident at the job he'd only recently got as a construction worker. everything was ripped right from under her and she was terrified of the world and what could happen to her in it. she went into a depression that refused to let up for years despite nayan's hard work to raise her like her own daughter.

 » as sarina got older, she opened up more only slightly. she still refused to speak unless she had to and she had decided it was best to continue to be home schooled despie having the option to attend public school. she and nayan were close but there was always the wall between them, sarina had only trusted her father to make the best decisions for her but now he couldn't be there when she needed him. as a way to get her to be more social and gain friends, nayan signed her up to join a ballet class. sarina wasnt all that opposed to it as she was very much into music, it kept her calm and focused. ballet ended up being her life; she hated to miss a single practice and always practiced harder than anyone. she wasn't really there to make friends but she was admired by all that attended. she used it as an outlet for her buried sadness and anger at the world. why was it her father that had to die? why was it her family that had to live so horribly? why was it that she couldn't be seen as just a normal child? every question was shown through her movements. she began to branch out into other areas of dance such as hip-hop. she was one of few girls who could keep up with the male street dancers she would go out of her way to see perform. dancing made her happier than she'd ever been and she decided that she would be a dance instructor or even a choreographer. she wasn't the most open person yet but she would talk excitedly about how wonderful dance was.

» around the time she was 14, she decided to look into other elements of music. she picked up singing on a whim, not expecting to be good at it but just wanting to try it out. she would hum while doing her work and sing to songs she often heard. she never thought much of it but nayan was mesmerized by her voice. it sounded sweet and gentle, reflecting the girls inner self. the girl's adopted mother often spoke of how she thought that sarina would make an amazing idol in japan or korea, the places where making a living as a known artist was considerably easier than in thailand. the girl never paid it much attention but decided to get into music from the other asian countries given how popular it was. she could never see herself as an idol, let alone an idol in a country she was unfamiliar with. when she was 17, she was scouted on her way home from dance practice. she was singing a song by iu, an artist she loved dearly, she had memorized. she gave her all on that particular song and a scout from plan a wanted to have her audition to become a trainee. she, to put it lightly, was utterly terrified. not only would she be going to a different country, she would be going to a country where foreigners weren't always treated the nicest. had nayan not convinced sarina to embrace her talent, she would've never went to audition. she was accepted and gave her absolute all as trainee, not wanting to fall behind anyone and not wanting to give anyone the opportunity to bash her for not belonging. she became an even colder person to protect herself, hearing how they talked bad about her for not being korean or being able to fully understand or speak the language and noticing how the trainers would go harder on her or single her and the other foreign trainees out in anyway. she hid her fear behind walls and walls of confidence and 'salt' as many would put it.
