Lightning Training III

(13) With the next task readied for completion, Jhin would come to realize that this one would have a bit of action to it. Bandits had been spotted in the midst of Genjigakure, recently making a ruckus due to several bar fights turned grisly. Jhin was tasked with the prospect of dealing with such matters, and he appears to eagerly take on the request! Gathering his blade, he would head towards their known hang-out spot, where crimes have been escalating as of late. He would utilize this opportunity to not only rid himself of the bandits, but properly patrol the city, as well as training his blessing.

 (14) He comes before a small group of bandits, shoddily dressed men gathered around a small camp-fire. They turn to look upon Jhin as he approaches, coming to a steady stand and sneering towards the youth. Jeers come shortly after, leaving the young swordsman to frown in the midst of their goading. Despite this, he had no qualms about reaching for his blade, clasping upon it with lid eyes. They were scum to be dealt with, and he had no qualms about it.

 (15) Proceeding forward, he would abruptly unsheathe his blade as he struck the first bandit down with a decisive strike. Blood spills out along the terrain, a small spray from the deepened cut that he had drawn. The other bandits surge toward him consecutively, only to have their flimsy and rusty weapons parried. He cuts them down one at a time, though its fortunate that they underestimate him and did not seek to group up on him. He had plenty of time to practice his techniques while in the midst of it, though mixed results came as small bolts of electricity ran into their bodies. For the most part, his techniques had faltered, but he was able to conjure them up with notable improvements.
