This edition contains the game files updated and cracked, although to make a DVD9 some videos have been deleted. However, the gameplay is untouched. Besides, multiplayer and zombie modes work in L.A.N. without having to use Steam.

To play the campaign, just start "BGamerT5.exe".

To play the zombies mode with somebody else, server and clients must use this edition and follow these steps:

The HOST has to run "bgT5Launcher.exe", in the box "Nickname" enter a name to use while playing, in the box "Host IP" type 127.0.0.1, then click on "Start Hostmode" and, finally, on "Singleplayer". Once in the main menu of the game, click on "ZOMBIES", then on "ONLINE", then on "FIND MATCH", choose a map and wait for other players to join before starting the game.

The CLIENTS have to run "bgT5Launcher.exe", in the box "Nickname" enter a name to use while playing, in the box "Host IP" type the server's I.P. and, finally, click on "Singleplayer". Once in the main menu of the game, click on "ZOMBIES", then on "ONLINE", then on "FIND MATCH" and choose the same map selected by the server.

To play the multiplayer, server and clients must use this edition and follow these steps:

The HOST has to run "bgT5Launcher.exe", in the box "Nickname" enter a name to use while playing, in the box "Host IP" type 127.0.0.1, then click on "Start Hostmode" and, finally, on "Dedicated Server". A console will appear. Type "map mp_(name of a map)"; for example, "map mp_nuked". Leave the console running and click on "Multiplayer". Once in the game, click on "Play", then on "SERVER BROWSER" and a match will be shown. Click on it.

The name of the multiplayer maps that can be loaded on the dedicated server are: mp_array, mp_cracked, mp_crisis, mp_firingrange, mp_duga, mp_hanoi, mp_cairo, mp_havoc, mp_cosmodrome, mp_nuked, mp_radiation, mp_mountain, mp_villla, mp_russianbase, mp_berlinwall2, mp_discovery, mp_kowloon, mp_stadium, mp_gridlock, mp_hotel, mp_outskirts, mp_zoo, mp_drivein, mp_area51, mp_silo and mp_golfcourse.

The different multiplayer game modes can be changed during the game by voting with the following command: «g_gametype "mode"». Modes are: tdm, dm, sab, dem, ctf, dom, sd and koth.

Dedicated server options can also be changed by editing the file "bgserver.cfg", which is in the folder "main".

For players to connect, they must be within the same local area network, either physical or virtual (the latter with programs like Tunngle or Evolve). It is recommended that Steam is not running meanwhile.

The installer will allow us to update DirectX libraries and to automatically shut down the computer once the installation is done, so we do not have to care about how long it takes.
