- Yokai Hunting RP
- Eccentra is having issues dealing with the ever-growing monster and yoaki population. Your help has been enlisted to deal with the problems created by the rising population. It’s not exactly a bad thing, as it is somewhat peaceful, but some of the population has decided to attack the also growing population of humans and peaceful yokai. This is where you come in.

- Keep track of what you get in this RP, as I’m not gonna do it for you this time.
- Using drops from monsters/yokai, you can create new weapons and armor to increase your power and perhaps even allow you to use some elements you normally couldn’t.
- Because of this, items created in this RP are NOT allowed to leave this RP unless a drop permits it. Not even End’s Wishes can change this. However, I may randomly give you items from this RP outside of it if I simply feel like it.

- WEAPON CLASSES
- Rules for weapon classes will be listed later.
- Range Weapons always have base level ammo.
- Magic weapons use a self managed casting system. Just don’t spam them or they can be taken.
- Drone Weapons suck when used normally, use your drones to keep the hurt on.
- Support Weapons are for supporting the team. They mostly suck for damage dealing.
- Magic and Support Weapons are limited to a certain set of effects generated when the item is obtained. Each item will have no more than 5 unique effects to utilize.
- Unique Weapons are not covered by these rules unless stated.
- Weapon/Armor properties are generated when you obtain them.
- Drones utilize multiple entities to be effective, unless stated.
- All Drone Class Weapons will have a dagger for melee, unless you actually have to hold something.
- Drone Spine Users can purchase extra parts to form sort of a EXO suit. It's not as effective as armor, but can make you move faster, lessen the effects of certain attacks, as well as allow you to lift shit, like Link's Gauntlets in OoT, except applied to monsters/yokai.

- __________________________________________________________________________________
- UNIQUE WEAPONS
- There are some weapons that just can’t be classified above, however, these weapons cannot be made any other way than through getting drops from special monsters. These weapons CAN leave the RP, as they won’t be able to use unique elements such as fox fire, but if you transfer them to another character, you cannot use them again in this RP.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- TRANSFERRING ITEMS
- As a rule, weapons cannot be transferred without a drop. Armor, One-Use Items, as well as tools may be transferred to another character without any punishments.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- MAKING NEW STUFF
- This is why you need to keep track of your items. When you complete missions/defeat monsters or yokai, you’ll earn some items you can use to make more stuff. What you can make depends on what you have, and personally, whether I’m in the mood to give a damn.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- FAILING A MISSION
- AS per usual in Monster Hunter, when the team gets a total of 3 deaths on a mission, it is auto failed.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- MISSIONS and FREE HUNTING
- When you’re not on a mission, I will randomly create a mission for you guys to do. If you accept, then the mission begins. You will instantly arrive at a ‘base camp’, and will be able to begin the hunt. However, once you accept a mission, you cannot access any town until the mission is finished, abandoned, or failed. You also won’t be able to change up your load out or use a bank. If you finish a mission, you’ll be given rewards.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- SPECIAL MONSTERS
- Sometimes, a special monster will appear. These monsters will be vastly tougher than any other monster in the RP, and will come with very special loot to those who can best them. These monsters are unique in the fact that they may have their own arena, and have their own theme.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- YOKAI PARTNER
- You have the chance, when capturing a Yoaki while you’re not on a mission, to recruit the Yokai as a partner. There are some differences between you and your partner. First of all, your partner may have a set list of abilities to use, or may have some other unique properties that only a Yokai can have. You can train them to get stronger too, making them useful allies to have at your side in the future. There are some limitations, though. For example, you may only have ONE Yokai partner at any given time. You may dismiss a Yokai at any time. If A Yokai Partner is defeated, before heading to the next area, you may use 1 Revival Type Item to bring them back. If you do leave the area, you will receive drops and a special item to remind you that your partner died. Granted, you’ll probably just find another.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- TRANSFERRING A YOKAI
- A Yokai Partner may not be transferred out of the RP without use of a Special Drop from this RP. There are some rules concerning transferred Yokai, though.
- 1: You may not absorb their powers and use them to boost your own character.
- 2: Unlike this RP, your Partner count is not limited to 1, but to 3 at one time.
- 3: Your character will receive a Summoning Stone with your Yokai inside of it. This works like a Pokeball for your Yokai only.
- 4: You accept any means to receive the Summoning Stone(s)
- 5: You may carry an unlimited amount of Summoning Stones.
- 6: A defeated Yokai outside of this RP is not lost, but the Summoning Stone must be recharged by Karina.
- 7: Unlike characters made by you, I will not hesitate to destroy a Yokai, as they are technically not created by you.
- There are no exceptions to these rules as well.
- __________________________________________________________________________________
- AI HUNTERS
- In order to demonstrate everything this RP has to offer, I will randomly create AI Hunters with varied purposes. Like you, they have no unique abilities alone. They will also follow the same rules as you do when being created, save for Equipment Limitations, but they will still have the same set-up. These AI's may want a duel, may be hunters for hire, want to trade with you, might be merchants, they could become your hunting buddy, or they might even become your hunting rival.
