So almost two years ago now, I pulled a meme and put ScorpeanRTD's phone number in the about section of my forum profile, in white text so you couldn't see it (you had to actually highlight it to see it and if you didn't know it was there there was almost no chance you'd find it). However one of the people that knew about the little prank, who also gave me the phone number (keep in mind nobody who knew about the number in my about didn't already have access to his phone number through other means), tipped off Kai and he banned me, reasonably because that is releasing personal info.

First off, addressing why I did it, Scorp was always a dick (who also turned out to be a pedophile) and me and my group of friends were always at ends with him, so everyone thought it was pretty funny.
Second, as for the ban reason describing the incident as "releasing personal information", I wouldn't call hiding a number within your about section in white text, on a page where literally no one would go to snoop around (why would anyone go to my forum page and highlight one part of my about) releasing information to incite malicious intent. If anyone did find it, what would the outcome even be? Sure, they might call the number, but with no knowledge as to who that person is or who the number belongs to. Besides, if they called it they'd just be greeted with an angry old man (scorp's dad).
