  3. Vivziepop clearly cares a lot about her characters and she's very passionate when it comes to their backstory, personalities and even small insignificant details like their favorite food or favorite music. She puts a lot of effort in her writing and the plotline as well.
  4. Take for example, Butch Hartman. The guy was never particularly invested in his own characters. He only created Fairly OddParents just because he wanted to be his own boss. In most of the videos, where he's answering questions about his Cosmo, Wanda and Timmy , he seems incredibly bored. He literally came out with this idea in only 15 minutes.
  5. This can be seen in how one dimensional his characters are. Almost to the point where it seems like they have only one personality trait.

  9. What I'm concerned about is Viv letting the tumblr crowd get to her again and forcing her off the show and the characters quickly becoming flanderized

  11. Didn't Van Partible get fired from Johnny Bravo after season 1? Hence the reason for the extreme change in art style and humor?

  13. Also, news flash, Butch! Characters don't necessarily have to be dumb in order for them to be funny. Most of Butch's characters act like they have mental retardation.
  14. Wouldn't it have been better if Cosmo was more than just stupid? Wouldn't it have been better if Wanda was more than just the voice of reason? Wouldn't it have been better if Vicky was more than just plain evil? The characters in Hazbin are all evil, but even they have other personality traits besides just "EVIL".

  23. What if they left Husks design the way it was for the most part but they made him buff?

  26. I think the ideal design (for me) would be:
  27. >1970's style dress sense, polyester poker themed shirt w/ giant collar, bell bottom slacks
  28. >get rid of wings or make them smaller with a solid color scheme as well as any other tiny details
  29. >make his hands actually look like feline claws rather than cylinders with knife blades tacked on
  30. >beef him up a bit, kinda like a middle aged guy whos obviously fit but packing a bit of a beer gut

  32. Yeah but how can you tell he's from the 70's without bell bottom pants? I've just seen some Husk fanart that has him wearing pants and I honestly preferred the look, if they weren't dressing him up like he was from the 1910's

  40. Husker was too old to be fashionable in the 1970s.

  42. Well, there goes my faint glimmer of hope that we could actually see a character design that was inspired from the 70's
  43. What a shame.

  45. For whatever reason, all the main sinners peaked in their lives in the 1920s - 1950s except Vaggie.

  48. I may get sht for this, but I think its because Vivziepop doesn't want to step out of her comfort zone. So far, most characters we've seen across the board have been from the United States (or in the case of Sir P. British or Australian for Cherri Bomb) and lived around from the 1870's to 1940's and dress up in formal tuxedo's. Now this wouldn't be bad if it were only a few characters here and there but it's almost gotten to the point of over saturation.

  51. I think that's the general consensus here, I mean look at how similar all the character designs are; tall, thin and wearing bowties.

  53. I wouldn't even says it's as big of time period as 1870s to 1940s, I'd say it was even less.

  55. Hell, I bet Sir Pentious only died in the 1800s so Viv could arbitrarily diversify her character roster a bit.

  57. Which is annoying, considering it's Hell and you'd could have anyone from any era show up. But I think because you couldn't just stick a Roman in a suit and bowtie, without a good reason, is why we haven't see anyone from anything other than the 20th century, aside from Ser Pentious.
