Reasoning: Alex has been pushing his body beyond the limits of a human, forging a blade which he infused with his own soul. He's been practicing his skill, and it's only gotten him so far now with ruined slowly falling apart everything seems pointless. Alex is still a new comer, and only has one raid under his belt; however, he's been putting forth the effort weather he's winning or losing.

There are only a few of Ruined who still seek the fight, but others are already giving up which leaves everything in an odd situation. Alex fought to save one of his allies, but he failed.

Everything seems to be crumbling at the same time with no signs of letting up, Alex can only keep trying and fighting against that feeling that's starting to sneak up on him.

What is the moment:

The battle for the soul grinder took place, and with Alex being placed against Doka, he knew the match would be hard-fought. The woman and his armor are something that many people feared since it gave them the edge in battle; however, Alex wasn't an ordinary swordsman. He combined his spirit with his blade and landed powerful strikes against Doka, but the cocky nature of the woman still showed.

As the battle began growing more intense, she relied on that armor to protect her, but the strength of his spirit was far more than she expected. Then, boom, he managed to crack open her defense in a matter of seconds, if not near-instant; she seemed to be worried, but the armor offered her enough protection to survive his onslaught of attacks.

Alex lost the battle by a hefty margin; now bleeding out, she seemed to be worried about his well-being or just getting close enough to check his pockets for dimes.

Tragic.

Alex commending the woman for a well-fought battle, but she laughs in his face, her cocky nature showing again perhaps being kind was terrible to show towards the enemy. At his moment, nothing else mattered, but what Alex fought for?

Each battle leading up to his point became closer and closer, but it wasn't enough to fully win the fight. The people of Sun were coming for them, and they were holding back. The forces of Ruined have been pushed back, and their strength slowly began fading as more of their energy left them.

Alex's only trump card is people do not know who he is, how he fights, or what he indeed possesses. It's the reason he managed to catch Doka off guard.

Though he needed more, he needed to draw more from his spirit.
