Alexithymiaa: -Brad was sitting at his computer in his room working on the first rough cut of Kelsey's video. He was trying to get the first cut over to the visual effects team as fast as possible so they could get to work as well since the video had so much special effects and he knew it would take longer than anything else.-
Covet: Kelsey walked out of her dorm room after getting Connor to sleep and had walked to the fridge to get herself and Brad a beer. She walked back to his room and made her way inside, closing the door behind her. "Connor says goodnight, and He's hoping we have time this week sometime to do up another video for him. Also I thought you might have deserved this by now." She told him handing the beer out to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhh..." He started when Kelsey came in, not taking his eyes off the screen. "I don't know. We have a pretty tight deadline with this video if we want to have you be eligible for the VMAs. I really need to get this done..."-
Covet: "Of course I understand. I can let him know if you don't think it's possible. " Kelsey told him, then sat the beer down on his desk. before leaning against it and took a sip off of her own.
Alexithymiaa: -Without hesitation, he grabbed for the beer, taking a long sip before setting it back down in front of him. "I really don't. I'm going to be working on this cut for most of the week before I send it off."-
Covet: "Yeah. I'm sure he and I can find something else to do, maybe work on some recipes or something." Kelsey said as she watched him. " Sooo.... you'll be busy all week then...?" She asked him slightly suspiciously.
Alexithymiaa: "Maybe you guys should do a practice run. That way when he goes to do the real thing, it's all rehearsed." He said casually, pausing in his editing to turn and look at her. "Mostly. Why?"-
Covet: "That would work, I like that idea." Kelsey said then looked back at him with a shrug, " Just curious, that just means I'll have to fnid something to do while you're working."
Alexithymiaa: "Well... if you want to supervise, you can. It's your video afterall. And you kind of get the final say on how it looks anyway." He said with a shrug, reaching for his beer again to take another sip. "I think you're going to like this though. It's looking really good so far."-
Covet: "Yeah, I know, I just don't want to feel like I'm hovering or anything. I know you don't like it when people are all up on you about every little thing, plus, I trust you are making it look awesome." Kelsey told him
Alexithymiaa: "I dont like it when Evan is up my ass about what I need to be doing. You watching me edit your own video is a little different, especially considering you're not going to tell me what to do. You wouldn't." He said very matter of factly. He stretched his arms up over his head, his voice a little strained. "I think you're going to like it regardless."-
Covet: "Evan, or Anna's producers, or Nancy.... I could keep going." Kelsey said to him, then bit her lip, "No I probably wouldn't but... what If I did? How would that make you feel?" She asked him, curiously.
Alexithymiaa: "Honestly, I'd probably listen to humor you, but I wouldn't actually make any changes I wasnt already going to make. It's just a matter of me knowing what I'm doing, and you not really knowing anything about this stuff."-
Covet: "I guess that's fair." Kelsey said. "I might ask about why you're doing something, but I wouldn't make you change it or anything." She tipped her beer back again.
Alexithymiaa: "I'd explain within reason, but I'm also not going to give you a lesson in editing while I'm trying to meet your deadline. I think thats a pretty good compromise." He said with a smirk, hitting a few keys on the keyboard.-
Covet: "Oh don't worry, as much as I admire what you do, I have no interest in learning all that. I see the stress it puts you under, and I have enough of my own." Kelsey laughe.d
Alexithymiaa: "It's good stress though. I enjoy the stress. It's a fun kind of stress. Just like your job is. Fun stress." He said with a smirk, easing back in the chair.-
Covet: "Your fun stress and my fun stress is entirely different though. Your fun stress would swamp me and I'd go nuts." She told him.
Alexithymiaa: "That's funny, because your fun stress would swamp me. I guess that means we're all entitled to our own strengths, huh?" He laughed, dropping his hands back down onto the keyboard.-
Covet: "What getting up on stage strutting around in short shorts, and skin tight leather suits would be too much for you? And to think there are drag queens that work twice as hard as I do." She told him finishing off her beer.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, I have a lot of respect for drag queens who do what they do. They put more work into their appearance in a day than I have all year." He paused, thinking about it. "That would be fun, actually. A drag show."-
Covet: "It would, but who would come? Aside from the local drag community." Kelsey asked him
Alexithymiaa: "Not for us to put one on, just to go to one. Maybe when we're in LA for a weekend, we can go. I'm sure there's tons of really great ones in LA, right?"-
Covet: "I don't see why there wouldn't be. There's probably a drag club or two down there easily." Kelsey said with a nod.
Alexithymiaa: "I think it would be fun. I bet Anna would be into going to. We could get a group together and make a whole thing of it. I haven't been to a drag show in... years." He started to laugh, shaking his head and adjusting his beanie. "I went freshman year when I was living in Brooklyn."-
Covet: "That would be fun!, Maybe we could get a hold of Ozzy and Katie and they could go with us too?" Kelsey suggested.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, that would be cool. I bet they'd like it." He said, fanning a hand over his mouth as he yawned. "Just need to figure out how to schedule it around all my upcoming shoots and shit."-
Covet: "Get a hold of Evan, I'm sure he'll have it already figured out when will work best." Kelsey said, noticing his yawn. " Bed time for now? You can work more on it tomorrow?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, but the second I mention it to him, he's going to have the most meticulous plans. I want it to just be a fun idea in my head right now before he ruins it." He rolled his eyes, glancing at the bed and then back to his computer. "I'm not where i need to be yet. I just need a little bit more time on this before I go to sleep."-
Covet: "Okay... fine... But I refuse to be held responsible if I fall asleep before you get to bed." She told him stretching as she grabbed their bottles and leaned over to give him a kiss on the cheek, before heading towards the door. "Hopefully I'll see you soon, hun. If not Goodnight, I love you."
Alexithymiaa: "I'll be in soon. I'm almost there. I have an editing schedule to make sure I get this done on time. Give me like fifteen minutes?" He asked, his eyes swinging over to look at her by the door.-
Covet: "You get fifteen after than I'm falling to sleep." Kelsey told him with a laugh and walked out of the room to take care of their trash and go to bed.
