- - 200%? BAFFAN WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?
- Ok so. The World Record for the Baten Kaitos 100% Speedrun was established last year, at 338:43:26. I said I wouldn't aim for improving my time without a new discovery. It's been a whole year, and nothing was discovered.
- But if you know me, you know that I love memes. A lot. And that I like to offer new things every time. So... What if instead of improving the time of the run... We tried to increase the amount of fun?
- Introducing Baten Kaitos 200%.
- - OK so what does 200% mean?
- It means I will start playing both the US and the JP version at the same time, with goal of completing them both at 100%.
- - Are you using a single controller?
- Nope, I'm using a controller for each console. I will have to alternate between both. I will try to sync them as much as possible (cutscenes, corridors without enemies etc), but most of the time I will only play 1 game at a time.
- - What's the World Record?
- That has never been done before, and this is not meant to be competitive.
- - Is this a speedrun?
- Not really. It will most likely be sub 342, but I'm absolutely not aiming for a World Record or anything.
- - Are there differences between the US and JP versions?
