personality: daehee is a quiet person, he thinks about something twice or even three times before he says it aloud. when he's new to an environment or people, he will be quite shy but once he gets to know the people and likes them, he's very nice and reliable. he's also a family person and defeats the people he likes at all costs. he can listen very well but doesn't talk a lot; he just doesn't like opening up to anyone because he's scared of the thought that someone might know more about him than he himself (thus, sasaengs creep him out a lot). when playing board games, he's very determinded and can't really lose; he cheats a lot (when it's not blackjack; he's the blackjack king) but always makes up for it with a cute and nice smile. since he's from jeju, he gets nervous very easily in crowds - he prefers the countryside and the quiet life rather than hectic metropoles.
trivia: no one ever defeats him in blackjack, he's even sometimes dubbed 'blackjack king' by some fans. before the group's debut, he was the main vocalist of an indie band called 'loonatics', they had several gigs in seoul. he moved to seoul when he turned 19 to pursue a career, however he didn't get accepted at an audition for yg entertainment. the band broke up because he left to become a trainee at prime ent., thus he feels guilty. he has a little sister called seunghee and a older brother called chunhee. they both live in jeju and he misses them a lot. he works out.

how this member treats other members: he threats the members equal as he loves them all equal - at first he of course didn't talk to them a lot, but over time, he started to see them as family members. nevertheless, he sometimes pushes them away which may appear harsh, however he just needs a lot of personal space. however, if one of them asks him nicely, he will even take them to han river with them. he will always ask the others about their opinion on his lyrics because he trusts them and he always listens to their problems. however, he seems to be distanced and cold when the camera is on, causing fans to think he doesn't really like the others when he in reality does.
how other members treat this member: the others at first didn't really know how to get him to talk to them but they got used to it real quick. they take care of them when they are in crowds or if a lot of cameras are around them and they will also respect his personal space. well, most of them. SUNRISE and ANTSY just can't understand that he sometimes wants to be alone and annoys him a lot, thus they don't have the best relationship. the others know he doesn't like skinship and thus they tease him by randomly touching him. when fans ask them if day doesn't like them, they will always defend him saying he's actually caring off-camera.

how did you hear about prime ent: he was discovered by one of prime ent's scouts while doing a gig with the loonatics; he didn't hear about them before.

what did you audition for: he auditioned to become a solo singer doing r&b style music, similar to dean or crush. he didn't really want to become an idol. when the company revealed he'll join the line-up for an idol coed group, he got anxious because being an idol means getting a lot of attention; he felt pressured.
how were you when you first entered the company: he was overwhelmed by everything and doubted himself a lot; he was homesick and wanted to go back to jeju island. he thought about quitting very often, especially when he got to know he will debut in a group because he wasn't even sure if he meant to be an artist, even though he was well aware of his singing abilities he felt like he didn't have the personality to be a celebrity.
