Alright so I've got a pretty serious proposal and feel free to shoot me down if I sound like a faggot or my idea is shit - criticsm is welcome and I'm aware I look like a safe-space pussy, that's aight by me. Shit disclaimer aside, I have a very real problem with the nasty toxic shit currently on the front page of OW regarding sexism. I'm aware that outside of reporting and muting there's really nothing we can do about it but at this point we're bending over backwards to let the 'terrorists' win. They come out on top and because of that everyone suffers.

My solution is simple; we hit the nuclear option. Reddit may be a minority but it is still a massive playerbase. With that in mind I say if we ever encounter someone being inflamitory and sexist... we wait for the in-game timer to pass (I assume is 1 minute past setup - which is enough time to figure out if someone's doing it in jest or maliciously because they're a no life fuck) and we straight up leave. The basic foundation of this idea comes from; would Blizzard punish a good cause? - I can guarantee we'd initially get punished I've thought about it a little in depth - such as execution, decision making, a way to identify fellow 'boycotters', rogue leavers using us as an umbrella and a few more but I can understand if no one gives a fuck and that's fine by me, the problem might only be exacurbated in my eyes because I have female friends who have to deal with that shit and as such I'm probably biased.

It's a bit of a worst case scenario option but to be honest the numbers are all we have over these people. Fighting back in any way shape or form is just feeding a dumb internet troll.
