	lee jumi was born and raised in zhejiang, hangzhou, china as the youngest out of three daughters (jooae - 93 liner and joohyun - 95 liner) of the family. she started to learn dancing and singing at the age of 4 years old. so her mother and her moved to seoul to pursue her dream. in middle school, she started attending a dance academy, in order to follow her dream of becoming a singer. she was rejected at several auditions, but luckily she was casted through social media by yg entertainment and became a trainee and she eventually joined yg's survival show, mixnine. jumi made it to #4 on mixnine finale, but her team didn’t get to debut because the male trainees won that's why she left yg entertainment. after she left yg, she filmed a lot of cfs, for highcut/innisfree, avajar, hanyul, lg (which hit almost 5m views in 3 weeks) and was given offers by different companies like sm, jyp, cube, starship and bighit but eventually she joined bighit entertainment and became a trainee there.

	lee jumi's a little shy when she meets a person for the first time but one you know her better you'll definitely say she's a bubbly, energetic and joyful kid with full of love. she likes to help other people who are in need of help. she doesn't lose hope and will keep on trying until she succeed though she can be little bossy from time to time and hard headed sometimes.
