「ったく、伊豆基地に着いて一息つけるかと思いきや、
こうやって艦の中に缶詰とはな」
Koji: Sheesh, I thought we’d get to stretch our legs once we got to the Izu Base, but here we are stuck on the ship like canned tuna.

チャム
「これじゃ息が詰まっちゃうわ!」
Cham: I’m suffocating in here!

龍馬
「そう腐るな。
自由に出歩けないのは俺たちだって同じだ」
Ryoma: Quit your whining. The rest of us can’t walk free anymore than you.

ユンナ
「この艦でもこんな様子だと、
他の艦も似たような空気でしょうね」
Yunna: I’m betting the other ships have a similar atmosphere.

ショウ
「たぶん[鉄華団]のみんななんて特にな」
Show: I’m sure [Tekkadan] especially.

甲児
「凱や健一たちは、
自分たちの基地に戻ったんだったな?」
Koji: Guy’s and Kenichi’s groups went back to their own bases, yeah?

ユンナ
「ええ。
直接報告しておきたいというのと、
凱さんは自分の身体のメンテナンスも兼ねて」
Yunna: Yes. They wanted to report directly, and Guy’s body has been overdue for maintenance for some time now.

ミコット
「サイボーグの身体って、やっぱり大変なんですね…」
Micott: Must be difficult, having a cyborg body...

タクヤ
「そもそも人と機械のハイブリッド自体が、
とんでもないことなんだよ」
Takuya: Being a man and machine hybrid is a pretty amazing thing though.

タクヤ
「同時に、それを可能にする
[GGG]って組織がとんでもないってことに
なるんだけどさ」
Takuya: I guess that would also mean the organization that can make that possible, [GGG], must be just as amazing itself.

(Meg and Dido approach.)

メグ
「だからこそ、彼らに
ディドの調査をしてもらうんでしょうね」
Meg: That’s probably why they’re having them be the ones to examine Dido.

ユンナ
「ふたりとも、岡長官との話は終わったのね」
Yunna: I take it you two are done speaking with Chief Oka.

ディド
「ああ。
俺とメグはGGGに向かうことになった」
Dido: Yeah. Meg and I will be going to GGG.

メグ
「あたしたちの中でもディドのことは、
特にわかっていないことが多いから…」
Meg: There’s a lot we don’t know about him, and that’s especially true for his Dido side, so...

甲児
「ま、俺たちは見慣れてきたが、
普通の人間にしか見えない奴が、
いきなり巨人に変身なんてするんじゃな」
Koji: Well, we’ve kind of gotten used to seeing a normal guy suddenly transform into a titan.

甲児
「そもそも人間のディドと、巨人のディーダリオン、
どっちが本当のお前なんだろうな?」
Koji: Actually, which is your real self to begin with? The human Dido or the titan Didarion?

ディド
「本当の俺か…」
Dido: My real self...

タクヤ
「ディドさんの正体ねぇ…。
なあ、バナージ、お前はどう思う?」
Takuya: Dido’s true form, huh... What do you think, Banagher?

バナージ
「………」
Banagher: ...

ミコット
「バナージ?」
Micott: Banagher?

バナージ
「…あの、ふたりは基地の方に行ったんですよね?
オードリーのことはなにか聞きませんでしたか?」
Banagher: ...So, you two went over to the base, right? Did anyone there mention Audrey?

ディド
「オードリー?」
Dido: Audrey?

フォウ
「それは…」
Four: That’s...

ミコット
「…それは嘘の名前です。
本当の名前はミネバ・ラオ・ザビ」
Micott: ...a false name. Her real name is Mineva Lao Zabi.

ミコット
「私たちの世界で[一年戦争]っていう、
ひどい戦争を仕掛けてきた国のお姫様です」
Micott: In our world, there was a terrible war known as the [One Year War]. And she’s the princess of the country that started it.

バナージ
「あの戦争にオードリーは関係ない。
一年戦争の時に彼女はまだ赤ん坊だったんだ」
Banagher: Audrey had nothing to do with that war. She was just an infant during it.

ミコット
「けどザビ家の人間でしょ。
小さかったから関係ないなんて言えないわ」
Micott: But she’s still part of the Zabi family. Just because she was little at the time doesn’t mean she has nothing to do with it.

タクヤ
「おい、ふたりともやめとけって」
Takuya: Hey, cut that out, you two.

ディド
「つまり…どういうことなんだ?」
Dido: So...what does that have to do with anything?

童馬
「お前が来る前に、
そのお姫様がこの艦に乗り合わせててな。
色々とあったんだよ」
Ryoma: Before you came along, that princess was onboard this ship for a while.

龍馬
「で、今はこの基地で身柄を預かられてる」
Ryoma: And now, she’s in the base’s custody.

カミーユ
「バナージ、お前が
彼女に肩入れしているのは知っている」
Kamille: I know you have a lot of faith in her, Banagher.

カミーユ
「だが会いに行こうと思っているのなら諦めろ。
軍という組織はお前が考えている以上に
複雑なんだ」
Kamille: But if you’re thinking of meeting her, you should give it up. The military is a much more complicated organization than you give it credit for.

バナージ
「俺は軍人じゃありません。
そんな言い方で納得させようなんて…」
Banagher: I’m not a soldier. Stop trying to convince me by talking like that...

アムロ
「カミーユの言う通り、
会いに行くのは諦めた方がいい」
Amuro: Kamille’s right however, you shouldn’t entertain the idea of seeing her.

ユンナ
「アムロ大尉…それにダグザ中佐」
Yunna: Lieutenant Amuro...and Commander Daguza.

ダグザ
「バナージ・リンクス、
ミネバ・ザビはすでに伊豆基地にはいない」
Daguza: Banagher Links. Mineva Zabi is no longer at Izu Base.

バナージ
「なんですって…!?」
Banagher: What do you mean...!?

「…ラプラスの箱の手がかりである
[ユニコーン]が消えたことで、箱の入手を
目論む者たちの間に大きな混乱が起こるでしょう」
Audrey: ...The disappearance of the Unicorn, as the only clue to finding [Laplace’s Box], has caused a great disturbance to the individuals that would seek to claim the box.

オードリー
「私は事態を平和裏に解決する方法を探るため、
リディ少尉のお父様…連邦中央議会の
ローナン・マーセナス議員に会いに行きます」
Audrey: To seek a peaceful resolution to this turn of events, I am going to meet with Ensign Riddhe’s father... Chairman Ronan Marcenas, of the Federation Central Council.

オードリー
「全ては、地球圏の更なる混乱を避けるために…」
Audrey: All to avoid further chaos within the Earth sphere...

バナージ
「この映像をオードリーが…」
Banagher: That was Audrey in the video...

アムロ
「俺たちが別の世界に行ったあと、
伊豆基地がボアザン軍の襲撃を受けたそうだ」
Amuro: They tell me that the Izu Base was attacked by Boazanian forces after we went to another world.

アムロ
「その時のドサクサで、
彼女はリディ少尉に連れられて
この基地から独断で脱出したらしい」
Amuro: During the confusion, she apparently accompanied Ensign Riddhe as they made their escape from the base.

ダグザ
「しかも受領したばかりの新型モビルスーツでな」
Daguza: Along with the new Mobile Suit he’d just received.

カミーユ
「それで代わりに、
この映像データが残されていたのか」
Kamille: And in their place, they left this video behind, huh.

龍馬
「捕虜を逃がした上に、敵前逃亡とはな。
あの野郎、見かけによらず、
大胆な真似をするじゃねえか」
Ryoma: A PoW and a deserter running off together. That guy’s bolder than I took him for.

ユンナ
「重罪は免れないでしょうね。
最悪の場合は銃殺刑…」
Yunna: But he can’t run from a felony that serious. Worst case scenario, he’ll be looking at execution by firing squad.

ダグザ
「普通ならばな。
だが岡長官は事情を汲んで、
少尉の行いは不問にすると判断した」
Daguza: Normally so, yes. But considering the situation, Chief Oka has decided to overlook the Ensign’s behavior.

フォウ
「理解のある対処…と思いたいけれど、
リディ少尉の父親の立場も
少なからず関係しているのでしょうね」
Four: How very considerate...is what I’d like to think, but I imagine that had more to do with the position Ensign Riddhe’s father holds.

アムロ
「ローナン・マーセナス議員。
[スペースノイド]政策の中枢にいる人物だ」
Amuro: Chairman Ronan Marcenans. He’s the man at the center of the [Spacenoids’] political movement.

アムロ
「少尉が議員のもとへ行ったのであれば、
外部の人間は迂闊に手は出せないはずだ」
Amuro: If Ensign Riddhe went to him, then anyone outside the council would have a hard time so much as touching him.

バナージ
「…これで箱に関する騒動は終わるんですか?」
Banagher: ...Does that mean this box fiasco will come to an end?

カミーユ
「ラプラスの箱が、
本当に連邦政府に対する切り札だとすれば、
そんな簡単にカタがつくとは思えないが…」
Kamille: If Laplace’s Box can truly be considered a trump card against the Federation, then I doubt it’ll be over with that easily...

バナージ
「オードリー…」
Banagher: Audrey...

フォウ
「ねえ、マリーダは無事?
彼女もこの基地にいたはずだけれど…」
Four: Say, is Marida okay? She was supposed to be at this base as well, but...

バナージ
「…!」
Banagher: ...!

アムロ
「それは俺も気になって確認した」
Amuro: I actually wanted to confirm that myself.

アムロ
「岡長官の話では、
彼女はアルベルト・ビストに連れられて、
別の場所に移されたそうだ」
Amuro: But as Chief Oka tells me, she was taken by Alberto Vist and transferred to a different location.

バナージ
「そんな!?
いったい、どこに!?」
Banagher: What!? Where could they have taken here!?

アムロ
「残念だが、
移送先は誰にも伝えられていない」
Amuro: Unfortunately, no one was told where she was transferred to.

フォウ
「…アルベルト・ビストは、
マリーダの生体データを取りたがっていたわ。
強化人間である彼女の」
Four: ...Alberto Vist wanted her biometric data. Because she’s a Cyber Newtype.

カミーユ
「データをほしがっていたとなると、
モビルスーツか、その関連技術に利用するためか…」
Kamille: If he wanted that data, it could be for using a Mobile Suit or some other similar technology...

フォウ
「ええ。
カミーユと出会う前の、私と同じように…」
Four: Yes. Just like what happened to me before I met Kamille...

龍馬
「あの男は胡散臭そうな野郎だったから、
ロクでもないことを考えてそうだぜ」
Ryoma: He was a shady-looking bastard, so he’s got to be up to no good.

バナージ
「………」
Banagher: ...


NERV本部 第一発令所
NERV Headquarters – Main Command Room


ミサト
「報告書を読んだけど、
私たちがこの世界を離れている間に、
ユーロの5号機が破棄されたらしいわね」
Misato: I read the report. It looks like Europe’s Unit-05 was destroyed while we were away in other worlds.

リツコ
「ベタニアベースで
[使徒]と一戦交えた結果としてね。
自爆でもしないと、どうしようもなかったんでしょ」
Ritsuko: As a result of a single battle with an [Angel] at the Bethany Base. Apparently its self-destruction was unavoidable.

マヤ
「永久凍土から発掘された第3の使徒…
施していた封印は無駄だったみたいですね」
Maya: The 3rd Angel excavated from permafrost... All that time and effort spent to seal it turned out to be a complete waste.

ミサト
「おかげで貴重なエヴァの1機を失う大損害よ。
上としては頭が痛いでしょうね」
Misato: And because of that, we lost one of our previous EVAs. The top brass must be flipping their respective tables.

リツコ
「人の手には負えないはずの使徒を、
無理にでも手元に置いておこうとしたことへの
報いかしらね」
Ritsuko: I suppose you could consider it their punishment for trying to keep a supposedly untamable Angel within arm’s reach.

シゲル
「とはいえ、ユーロとしてはなおのこと、
例の件に関してウチへ抗議を入れてくるでしょうね」
Shigeru: But that’s just all the more reason we’re gonna be getting an earful from Europe, considering that other matter.

ミサト
「あー、エヴァの追加配備の件ね。
けどあれはもう決まったことでしょう。
早めはしたけど、計画自体は進んでいたわけだし」
Misato: Oh, you mean because of the additional EVA added to our roster. That was already decided on forever ago though. They sure finished it damn quick, but they followed through on the project of their own free will.

リツコ
「配備を早めた理由が、
初号機が転移したことによる戦力不足だもの。
それが解消された今、文句のひとつも言ってくるでしょ」
Ritsuko: The reason for its early delivery is due to Unit-01’s absence leaving a gap in our fighting power. Now that that’s been resolved, they’re no doubt going to complain about it.

ミサト
「ウチの国は使徒以外にも、
ボアザンや[ゾンダー]やら外敵に見舞われてるってのに…」
Misato: I mean it’s not like we won’t put it to good use. With Boazan, [Zonders], and other foreign enemies, our country is dealing with a lot more than just Angels...

ミサト
「ま、脅威に晒されてるって点に関しては、
どこの国も同じか」
Misato: Well, I suppose all the other countries are facing the same threats.

リツコ
「…ところで彼の方はどう?
シンジ君、こっちの学校へ転入させたんでしょ?」
Ritsuko: ...By the way, how’s he doing? I believe you transferred Shinji to a school, correct?

ミサト
「そ。ロンド・ベル隊へ出向になって、
正直どうしようかと思ったけど、
一応行かせることにしたわ」
Misato: Yeah. I honestly wasn’t sure about doing it when he was temporarily transferred to Londo Bell, but I decided to just let him go for the time being.

ミサト
「少しは年相応に、
学生生活を味わっておくべきでしょうし」
Misato: He should get to experience student life at his age, even if it’s just for a little while.

マコト
「…あの子、大丈夫ですかね?
あまり周りに溶け込めるようなタイプじゃ
なさそうですよ」
Makoto: ...You sure that kid’s gonna be alright? He doesn’t really seem like the type to fit in very well.

ミサト
「まあね…。
転校初日、いきなり絡まれたりしてないといいけど」
Misato: Well... It’s his first day, he should be fine as long as something doesn’t come up out of nowhere.

Tokyo-3 - First Municipal Middle School


(Shinji gets punched out of nowhere.)

シンジ
「うぐっ…!」
Shinji: Ugh...!

トウジ
「すまんな、転校生。
ワシはお前を殴らないかん。
殴っとかな気がすまへんのや」
Toji: Sorry, transfer student. I had to slug you one. Only way I could feel right.

ケンスケ
「悪いね。
こないだの騒ぎでこいつの妹さん、怪我しちゃってさ。
ま、そういうことだから」
Kensuke: Sorry, man. His sister got hurt in the battle the other day. That’s why he’s like this.

シンジ
「…僕が」
Shinji: ...I...

トウジ
「あ?」
Toji: Hm?

シンジ
「僕がもっとうまくやっていれば…ってことだろ。
だけど、僕だって精一杯だったんだ…」
Shinji: I should have done better...is what you mean. But, I was doing the best I could...

トウジ
「なんやとお?
お前、それ妹の前でも言えるんかいな!
あいつはなぁ…!」
Toji: Oh yeah? Let’s see you say that in front of my sister! You little...!

シンジ
「殴れば気が済むんだろ…。
だったら、殴ればいいじゃないか」
Shinji: If hitting me will make you feel better... Then go ahead and hit me.

トウジ
「お前…」
Toji: You...

シンジ
「………」
Shinji: ...

トウジ
「チッ、行くで」
Toji: Tch, let’s go.

ケンスケ
「あ、ああ…」
Kensuke: S-Sure...

(Toji and Kensuke leave.)

シンジ
(僕のおかげで助けられた人もいれば、
傷ついた人もいる…)
Shinji: (I’ve helped some people, but I’ve hurt others...)

シンジ
(当たり前か…。
僕はロンド・ベルの人たちみたいに、
うまく戦えるわけじゃないんだから…)
Shinji: (Well of course... I’m not good at fighting like the guys in Londo Bell are...)

レイ
「碇君」
Rei: Ikari.

シンジ
「君は…」
Shinji: You’re...

レイ
「非常招集。あなたも呼ばれているわ」
Rei: There’s been an emergency call. You’ve been summoned as well.

シンジ
「非常招集…? 敵が来たの?」
Shinji: Emergency call...? Is an enemy here?

レイ
「ええ、使徒が来るわ」
Rei: Yes, an Angel is coming.

Episode 19
The Next Messenger


(Scene starts on the map screen of Tokyo-3. The 4 battleships are deployed.)

ミサト
「民間人の避難完了…
ラー・カイラム、アークエンジェル、イサリビ、
オケアノス、各艦も配置完了しました」
Misato: Civilian evacuation is complete... The Ra Cailum, the Archangel, the Isaribi, and the Oceanus are all in position.

ゲンドウ
「各艦は現座標にて別命あるまで待機」
Gendo: All ships will remain on standby at their present coordinates until ordered otherwise.

冬月
「壮観だな。
金銀4枚で王を囲うか」
Fuyutsuki: Quite a sight. Four Gold and Silver pieces to surround the King.

ミサト
「…別世界の戦力である彼らの出撃命令を、
連邦軍がよく受け入れましたね」
Misato: ...It’s a good thing the Federation agree to our order to launch the other world forces.

ゲンドウ
「彼らは使徒の脅威を理解した。
そして使える戦力は使う。それだけのことだ」
Gendo: They understand the threat the Angels pose. Strength which can be used, should be used. That’s all there is to it.

ビスケット
「エヴァはこちらに回さないのか…。
僕たちを盾にして、温存するつもりなんだ」
Biscuit: They aren’t sending the EVAs out here... They probably plan to use us as shields and save them for later.

ユージン
「いいのか、オルガ?
連中の言いなりになっちまってよ」
Eugene: You okay with this, Orga? We’re pretty much just following their say-so.

オルガ
「納得はいかねえが…
俺たちが前に進むためには、今はこうする他ねえ」
Orga: I don’t like it, but... If we’re going to move forward, this is what we have to do for now.

ティエリア
「使徒…目的も正体も不明の敵性存在、か…。
これが僕たちの世界なら、[ヴェーダ]の情報網で
何かわかるかもしれないが」
Tieria: Angels... Hostile beings with indiscernible intentions... If we were in our world, [Veda]’s information network might have been able to tell us something about them.

アレルヤ
「無い物ねだりをしても仕方がない。
今できる最善を尽くそう」
Allelujah: There’s no point asking for what we don’t have. All we can do is strive to do the best we can.

明
「随分と戦い甲斐のある奴らしいな。
[デーモン]の血がうずいてきやがるぜ」
Akira: This looks like a foe worth fighting. My [Demon] blood is pulsing like you wouldn’t believe!

一平
「あんたたちも難儀だな。
GGGに戻ったと思ったらすぐに駆り出されて」
Ippei: You guys must have it rough. Just when you think you’re going back to GGG, you’re pulled back into the fight.

凱
「それぐらいどうってことないさ。
俺たちの任務は、人々の生命と平和を
守り抜くことだからな」
Guy: That’s not a problem for us. Our mission is to protect the people’s lives and preserve peace.

氷竜
「ただディドさんとメグさんのおふたりに、
GGG内をご案内するのは後回しになりそうです」
HyouRyu: But this does mean we have to postpone Dido’s and Meg’s trip to GGG.

ディド
「構わない。
俺自身が何者なのかを知る手がかりを
手に入れるためにも、ここで死ぬつもりはない」
Dido: It’s fine. I have no intention of dying here before learning more about myself.

メグ
「ディド…」
Meg: Dido...

トーレス
「熱源反応を確認! ただし多数!」
Torres: Heat source detected! Actually, several detected!

ブライト
「使徒が多数で来たのか!?」
Bright: Multiple Angels are coming!?

トーレス
「違います!
この反応は、[インベーダー]です!」
Torres: No, it’s not them! These readings are [Invaders]!

弁慶
「何だと!?」
Benkei: What!?

ミサト
「インベーダー! またここを狙って…」
Misato: Invaders! They’re targeting here again...?

ゲンドウ
「ロンド・ベル隊の全戦力で迎撃に当たらせろ。
エヴァ2機は現配置のまま待機」
Gendo: Londo Bell will intercept them with their full might. Both EVAs will remain on standby in their current positions.

ミサト
「ラー・カイラム以外も全てですか…?
この後の使徒迎撃を考えれば、
バックアップにあてる戦力を残すべきでは…?」
Misato: Everything, even the Ra Cailum...? But if they’re going to intercept the Angel afterward, shouldn’t we have some forces in reserve for backup...?

ゲンドウ
「却下だ。
命令に変更はない」
Gendo: Your suggestion is rejected. My order stands.

ミサト
「…了解。
各艦に迎撃を要請します」
Misato: ...Roger. All ships are requested to intercept.

カズイ
「葛城二佐を通してNERVから迎撃要請です。
ロンド・ベル隊は全戦力を以て対処にあたってほしいと」
Kuzzey: Lieutenant Colonel Katsuragi has requested we intercept on behalf of NERV. They want us to use our full forces against the enemy.

マリュー
「使徒の迎撃に我々のバックアップは
不要ということでしょうか?」
Murrue: Are they saying they don’t need our support to battle the Angel?

ブライト
「どうせ確認したところで答えてはもらえんだろうな。
とにかく今は敵を迎撃する!」
Bright: I doubt they’d give us an answer even if we wanted to confirm. Regardless, we will begin intercepting the oncoming enemies!

(The player’s team deploys.)

デビルマン
「使徒だけじゃなくインベーダーもか!
デーモンの血がうずいて仕方がないぜ!」
Devilman: Not just Angels, but Invaders too! The Demon blood in my veins can’t help but throb!

(Ryoma deploys.)

龍馬
「覚悟しやがれ、インベーダーども!」
Ryoma: Get ready to die, Invaders!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

キリコ
「インベーダーは片付いたか」
Chirico: Looks like the Invaders are dealt with.

キラ
「そこまで大した数じゃなかったし、
僕たちみんなで戦う必要はなかったんじゃ…」
Kira: There weren’t that many of them, and we didn’t even need all of us to fight...

三日月
「オルガ、このまま使徒と戦えばいいの?」
Mikazuki: Orga, should we go fight the Angel now?

オルガ
「いや、[NERV]の方から指示があったってよ。
全機、戦闘態勢のまま待機だ」
Orga: No, we got orders from [NERV]. All units are to standby, combat ready.

エイジ
「助けに行かなくていいのか?
話では使徒はかなり強力な相手らしいが…」
Eiji: Shouldn’t we be out there helping them? From what I’ve heard, Angels are powerful opponents...

カレン
「それを2機だけで相手って…」
Kallen: And yet they’re just sending two machines to fight it...

龍馬
「前に出てきた使徒は、初号機だけで倒したぜ。
ただ暴走してたみてえだったがな」
Ryoma: When the last Angel appeared, Unit-01 took it down all on its own. Although it looked like it was just going berserk when it did it.

ハルト
「暴走? 初号機が?」
Haruto: Berserk? Unit-01?

バナージ
「ああ…あれはとても人が動かしてた動きじゃない。
まるで人を器にして、機械が動いているような…」
Banagher: That’s right... When it happened, it didn’t move like a human would. It was as if the human was just a vessel to allow the machine to act on its own...

ユンナ
「あの時は使徒だけじゃなく、
こちらまでやられそうになったところで、
内蔵電源が切れたのか偶然止まってくれたけど…」
Yunna: But it didn’t stop at just killing the Angel. We were going to be next, until the internal power ran out. Or it might have just stopped by pure coincidence...

めぐみ
「ええ…」
Megumi: Yeah...

弁慶
「まさに諸刃の剣。
もしまたあんな状態になったとしたら、
今度は止められるかどうか保証はできんな」
Benkei: It’s a real double-edged sword. If we ever get into a situation like that again, there’s no guarantee we’ll be able to stop it in time.

(The Archangel detects something.)

ナタル
「インベーダー…! 第2波が来たのか!?」
Natarle: Invaders...! A second wave is approaching!?

アムロ
「なんて数だ…。
もしかして待機命令は、これに備えて…?」
Amuro: There’s so many... Was the standby order in preparation for this...?

龍馬
「へっ、威勢がいいじゃねえか!
どうせ俺たちにぶっ殺されるだけなのによ!」
Ryoma: Heh, they’re really in the mood for it today! But all we gotta do is keep beating them all to death!

鋼鉄ジーグ
「チッ、来るなら来やがれ!」
Steel Jeeg: Tch, well if you’re coming, then come at us then, Invaders!

Misato: The Angel is approaching as predicted. It’ll invade the battlefield in about 60 seconds. As soon as it does, Unit-01 and Unit-00 are to intercept.

「…ロンド・ベル隊のみんなは?」
Shinji: ...What about everyone with Londo Bell?

「まだインベーダーと戦闘を継続中よ。
苦しいでしょうけど、彼らの援護は
しばらく受けられないと考えてちょうだい」
Misato: Still fighting Invaders. I know it’s tough, but don’t expect to get any backup from them.

Shinji: I understand...

Misato: We were planning on getting support from Unit-02 from the start. Although...it looks like they really rushed to get out here too.

(Londo Bell appears. The 4 ships and the player’s team deploys.)

Amuro: Is that a red EVA?

「あんな奴がいるなんて、俺たち聞いてないぜ!?」

Asuka: God, they’re noisy. Look, now that I’m here, you can just sit on the sidelines.

Kyo: Wha—!? The hell’s with her attitude!?

「2号機のことについては後ほど説明します。
今は使徒とインベーダーの迎撃をお願いします」
Misato: I’ll explain all about Unit-02 later. For now, please intercept the Angel and the Invaders.

Bright: Roger.

「よく持ちこたえたじゃねえか、シンジ。
あとは俺たちも付き合わせてもらうぜ」
Ryoma: You held out pretty well, Shinji. Now we’ll help you out.

シンジ

Shinji: R-Right...!

アスカ
「ふん、引き下がる気はないってわけね」
Asuka: Hmph, guess you’re not gonna back down then.

アスカ
「ま、いいわ。
ここから先は、私と2号機の独壇場なんだから!」
Asuka: Well, whatever. They’ll see that from here on out, Unit-02 and I are the best there is!

Yunna: I wasn’t sure what would happen when the Angel and the Invaders attacked simultaneously, but it looks like we pulled through somehow.

Kenichi: Sorry we were late, Shinji, Rei.

「いえ、大丈夫です…。
2号機の助けもありましたから」
Shinji: No, it’s fine... Luckily Unit-02 was here to help us too.

Amuro: (Evangelion Unit-02, huh...)
