- Okay, here's the deal, for those of you who are relatively new. I know this summary of events and involved characters (as far as is currently known) won't make sense for most of it. I mean, futures? And who are half of these guys being mentioned? Also, why are their personalities and powers so different, if they are familiar? I recognize that much of what happens won't have the same impact for you as it will for those more directly involved in the plot. This was an old plot that I had, one that became too extensive and complex to make by myself with other active participants. A lot of terms (soul-binding, the Darkness vs. KH darkness, gene tonics, and Plasmids, among others) will be alien. I just can't explain everything. If necessary, you can PM me concerning events or terms. I'll try to explain.
- --------------
- For those of you who are involved, feel free to tell me if I'm over-exaggerating something about a character, or just being plain out-of-character for him or her. I'll fix the actions if so, but I'm trying to make certain people as awesome as I can.
- ---------------
- All characters used in the fanfic itself are with their creators' permission, with the exception of canon characters. The only ones who belong to me are the presents and futures of Lukgar Revak, Gregory Kaith Zivaku, Isaac Koniro Zivaku, Samuel Dolor, K1-R4 ("Kira"), 54-1N ("Sain"), Letum Zivaku, Simon "Fixer" Goodman, Fal, Sparky the Monitor, and Adan "Strongarm" Brown. Brier, Barkley, Gryyed, and Alvior are all property of Strider. Nyx Zivaku and Abigail "Headshot" Williams are property of Kynthia. Otherwise, original characters belong to their respective users. If I don't get permission, I won't use the character or characters, but they might get a mention (otherwise we'll wonder what happened to them).
- -------------
- At a time nearing the reformation of Isaac Zivaku, a version of Ronald Cain Rivers from ten years in the future known as Phantom resurrected his own future, dead for years. This future Isaac, who went by the name of Reaper, had murdered several Interferences including Alucard of Hellsing and Jake "Derest" Derestion (using the alias Darucard) to use their physical hearts to fuel his powers, before being defeated by his older brother, Gregory "Kaith", after wounding his former love interest Victory Everstrong. Losing the compassion he had at most been able to hide previously, Reaper began to amass allies and armies, taking both the present and future of Jessica Mireu (the latter being known as "Elena") as major allies via the corruptive Dark Will magic of the Fable universe of Albion through the soul-holding mask of the demonic Jack of Blades along with Phantom and his present and, to an extent, Joseph "Lee" Fischer, the future of Joseph, both voluntarily, the latter held in some suspicion. Dolor, the mercenary future of Samuel Dolor, also works with them for money, and supplied them with the Flood of the Halo series. The present of Flora Shadowflash was soul-bound using a custom-made gene tonic by Elena, but kept with the to-be-established heroes as a double agent with an evil alternate personality known as Elori being dominant. This army included the Covenant Loyalists of Halo 3 under the joint command of the Brutes Alvior and Gryyed, the Splicers and Big Daddies of BioShock 1's Rapture under the Splicer lieutenant Lawrence Barkley, and the Knights Templar of the Third Crusade era of Assassin's Creed under Templar Knight Brier. Elena altered the programming of the Geth of Mass Effect to go from working with Saren Arterius to going under her command. Also, the droids of the Star Wars Trade Federation, ringwraiths of Middle Earth, and the Seran Locust Horde also followed, as did the Chimeran forces of the Resistance series.
- After learning of this danger to the worlds, the future of Greg Zivaku, known as Captain Kaith, began to gather his own group of heroes. Listed among them are his past, Sora and Kairi, the two Kynthia Usagis (future named Demi), both Grace Wangs (future being Somnio), Axel, Jake Derestion of the present, Alucard of the present, Hawk Shadowflash and his fraternal twin sister Flora both present and future both (Angel and Ele respectively), Donald and Goofy, the good present of Isaac Zivaku, and the futures of Alexander Karsath and Louis Delgado (Ephraim and Black Paladin). Other than these heroes, the knowing only aid comes in the form of "Shooter," the future of Tom Feriolos.
- ----------------
- A word on the timelines. Three are concurrent. The present characters', that of Ephraim, and that of the other futures, in which Ephraim died around the present.
- ----------------
- Now for brief plot summary. Kaith met Ephraim in Twilight Town in the midst of an attack by Chimera and Splicers, then Covenant Hunters and Brutes. After clearing them out, the Original Interference used a tempiral ability known as Chronos Premonition to locate Reaper in the Otherworld, the world that the Darkness calls home.
- Although he had the aid of Yami, a good future of the hero Sorin, Ephraim could not stop Reaper, nor could he trick him into handing over the Mask of Jack of Blades. All that was gleaned was that Reaper still did nit have all of the available Darkness powers, and that the Mask was in a place only accessible to Darkness hosts.
- Later, after escaping the evil base in The World That Never Was with the aid of the present Isaac Zivaku, Axel, and Derest, Donald and the trio met up with Sora, Kairi, and most other heroes, with the exception of Ephraim in The Land of Dragons, where they planned to make a base, but sending some of the heroes to Radiant Garden, likely to be the first world for the antagonists to attack.
- The Graces, Hawks, Gregs, Kynthias, and Black Paladin then took part, a massive force of Geth, Chimera, Covenant, and Flood, along with the Plasmid-using Templar lieutenant Brier and Alvior. Although many enemies were defeated, Kaith and Demi were separated from the main force as they went to fight Phantom and Reaper personally. Due to Kaith's weakness, a gene tonic known as Lot 111, his heart was slowed toward stopping, forcing Demi to surrender herself and her boyfriend as prisoners of war to allow him to have the antidote. Greg was gravely wounded by a sniper shot to the chest by Elena, though only she knew she shot it. As a result of the wounding, all heroes besides the captives were forced to leave the world and retreat to another base in Traverse Town, having lost.
- Kaith and Demi were brought to The Castle That Never Was, into a jail cell. While Kaith was beaten physically after having been given the antidote to the Lot, Demi was instead brought to Reaper, and treated to a dinner of carrots, her favorite food. Though she initially objected, she did eat quickly, being quickly corrupted by the Mask of Jack of Blades under the table as the pair ate, Reaper having a human heart. The corruption, much like a previous time she had been corrupted when she was the age of her present self, altered her feelings for the demon man, causing attraction to him and a lack of those feelings for the Cruxis angel that loved her. Demi took on the new alias of Diana for her new alliance, and took to emotionally and physically torturing Kaith the next morning, telling him that she was pregnant, but not who the father was. Using the same method of binding as Elena did to Flora, she forced Kaith to follow her every command, then asked him what he knew of the heroes' plans. When he gave very little information, she sent him off, forcing him to not admit the truth about what had happened in the world created for the Nobodies as he left for Traverse Town. Subsequently, Dolor gave a shadowy raven, the Raven Lord of Heavenly Sword, to Phantom for a price of munny, and the new villainous quartet of Reaper, Diana, Elena, and Phantom split up to attack different worlds.
- In Traverse Town, Ephraim arrived in time to use a very powerful white magic spell to save the present Greg's life as Isaac held watch over the Gizmo Shop they were using as a base of operations, and arguments began between Angel, Black Paladin, and Ephraim about the latter's "disappearance," which in actuality had been his death in their timeline. Black followed an instruction from Kaith from just before his capture to take materials from his reconstructed Halo 3-era UNSC freighter the Forward Unto Dawn, taking a slightly sarcastic artificial intelligence unit known as "Sain" to give information to all others about the different enemies that they would be facing. The Radiant Garden Restoration Committee apparently had escaped their home when it was attacked, and had taken refuge with the heroes. After some time giving this information, Sora, Kairi, Derest, Axel, Donald, and Goofy all arrived, and plans were made for all to go to sleep for the night in the hotels around the town. Kaith arrived that night, as was seen by the people on watch, and he made a cover-up story, telling Black as best as he could that he was under control. Alucard, who knew that Kaith knew the most about this situation, used Derest in a body swap to talk directly, learning of the dangers of soul-binding for himself as well as his host. When Ephraim came, another argument began over Ephraim's activity, or lack thereof, this time in respect to releasing soul-binds, until Alucard stopped it. Then, Kaith went to a room by himself to be alone, and Black told Derest, Isaac, and Ephraim about the captain's condition. The next day, Derest and Grace got into a very heated fight, with the former almost using lethal force on her in retaliation against stealing his bandanna. When the fight stopped with his unconsciousness via Large Body Heartless to the back, Alucard lectured him about using his abilities, threatening him before sending him to consciousness and speaking to a new entity that wanted to see the half-vampire let loose, unlike the No-Life King. The groups then split up. Black, Somnio, and Isaac left for Bord'wan, Amestris. Greg and Kynthia went to Twilight Town. Ephraim and Derest decided to check in Haven. Sora and Kairi took off for Destiny Islands.
- In Destiny Islands, Sora and Kairi were immediately held up by Splicers. Taking them out quickly, they used their clothing as disguises to walk around their home to look for the major villain there. Quickly, they found their old friends Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie. The Keybladers freed their friends from Reaper, the villain of the area, before he could do them harm. He fought them for some time, but their light-centered attacks weakened him enough for him to decide that it was just not worth it to take Destiny Islands just yet. Kairi stayed behind to explain things to the other three, and Sora returned to the base.
- In Bord'wan, through some interrogation, the trio learned that Phantom was setting up base to send ADAM from Rapture to other worlds. Some mysterious kunai were found areound, having killed enemy soldiers, but not much else. Dolor had kidnapped several prepubescent girls to give to Phantom for conversion into Little Sisters. While Isaac destroyed the ADAM shipment, Somnio rescued the little girls, Black holding back Phantom. In the midst of this, Dolor had a change of heart and held Phantom at gunpoint, the effort just resulting in a time-travel device on his arm being overloaded with plasma, causing a portal to appear below himself, Isaac, and Black, temporally displacing all of them and leaving Somnio to attempt her escape with the little girls alone.
- In the Land of Dragons, Axel and Grace saw massive quantities of Geth attacking the imperial city, led by Elena. They saw Jessica there, and learned that she was with the villains. After some fighting, Axel destroyed all of the Geth forces in the immediate area via pyrokinesis, causing Elena to call in a Geth Colossus tank-like robot. The heroic duo's fate is as of yet unknown.
- The couple in Twilight Town realized that Diana, known to them as Demi, had joined the evil army, and went to fight her. After some unsuccessful fighting that wounded Kynthia and Greg, Derest and Ephraim, having seen no enemies thus far in Haven, arrived to help, and Reaper came after his unsuccessful venture in Destiny Islands, which he blamed on the Splicers' incompetence. While Ephraim fought Diana and her summon, Bahamut (who, due to corruption, had become Bahamut SIN of Advent Children), Reaper captured Greg and Kynthia, bringing them to a Covenant Phantom ship. He held back Kynthia as Splicers beat Greg with pipes, then introduced the couple to Barkley the Splicer lieutenant, who was announced as the person who would be regent over Aselia, Greg's homeworld. In a rage, Greg attacked Barkley, strangling him as Reaper allowed him. Despite Kynthia's weak protests against killing the Splicer, the Cruxis angel threw him overboard. At the same time, Kynthia was released to attempt to distract Greg from the enemies nearby, and plasma needles caused his own time travel device to malfunction. Barkley fell into the resulting portal, with Greg and Kynthia following to escape the fight. Derest, possessed by the influence of "Tsered", attacked Reaper, ending up destroying the Phantom. When Derest returned to normal and landed safely, he gathered the groups of Hayner and Seifer, Ephraim using lught-centered magic to reverse Demi's corruption and knock her unconscious. The entire group then escaped the town, returning to Traverse Town.
- In Traverse Town, the Twilight Town refugees are put into a spare room. Thanks to Black Paladin prior to his departure, cameras and turrets were set up as security measures, accessible to Sain. Antagonism grows between Ephraimband Kaith when they speak, with the Original Interference accusing Kaith of hiding information. Anger rises on both sides until Derest begins to exhibit signs of attempted counterpart possession, and a very upset and conscious Demi requests permission to speak to her boyfriend privately. Kaith brings her to another room, and she orders him, using her control, to not move at all, nor tell Derest or Ephraim what was going on in the room. Ephraim, meanwhile, discovered that "Tsered" was five personalities rather than one, and told the unlucky host. It was then that Kaith told Sain to tell the others to stop Demi, who was about to commit suicide. With the help of the two heroes, her suicide attempt calmed to just depression again, and Ephraim left with Derest, reassured by Sain that he would notify them about anything they were needed for. Kaith tried to calm the demigoddess, with little if any success. Sora returned, and wnt to talk to the Twilight Town natives. They expressed their frustration with being treated like nothing but dead weight to the heroes, to which Sora replied tgat they should help any way they can, be the way combat oriented or not, and advised them to take metal weapons rather than Struggle bats to help prove that they were capable of helping. Vivi told the Keyblader that he could use magic, surprising everyone, and became more confident as he went out of the shop, all of his fellow refugees, Sora, and Ephraim in tow, and showed a powerful black magic spell, Meteor. The others admitted that Vivi's magic, which only Ephraim even slightly knew he could use, was the only thing that they had going for them besides Struggle skill.

- Those who fell into portals ended up fifteen years in the future, on a strange world known as Valhalla, the capital of the new order. In this future, the evil army had won. As far as was known, the Interference heroes were dead. All game worlds were aware of each other. Reaper was the "emperor" of the Omega Empire, as it was known. Phantom was in charge of economics. Diana, re-corrupted and the wife of Reaper, was the head of the religion, in which herself and Reaper were held as a god and goddess, with all instances of evil by Reaper or Isaac being replaced with the role of his angelic brother, and all of Greg's better moments being replaced by Isaac or Reaper.
- The often physically abused fraternal twins of Diana, the male Letum and female Nyx, found Greg and Kynthia, along with the corpse of Barkley, and led them toward the Church of Diana, only to be stopped by a one armed man with a broadsword named Adan Brown. In the resulting struggle, Kynthia was knocked unconscious by a tranquilizer from the man, and Greg was infected by Chimeran Creeper beetles. When Brown escaped, both time-displaced teenagers brought to a safer location, more was learned about this man. He was a part of a rebel group, with the alias "Strongarm". There was Simon "Fixer" Goodman, a young mechanic with no eyes, Abigail "Headshot" Williams, a traceuse (user of parkour) with one metal leg hiding parts for an easily-assembled, silenced, scoped pistol that she used for sniping, Fal "Doc", a Covenant Elite who acted as a right-hand alien to Fixer and as a medic, and "Sparky," a Halo Monitor (floating, small orb) that seemed to be friends with the mechanic. The only somewhat familiar face was Kira, an artificial intelligence program that had aided Kaith before, and knew the heroes. After introductions and the rescue of Greg from Chimerization by the timely intervention of Fal, Kira stopped Abigail from attacking them, explaining that they wanted to help. Then, a coded message came in to their hideout, a half of the Archangel ship, notifying them that the location of the hideout was known, advising them all to leave. Simon revealed his plan to destroy the capital with an antimatter bomb, and all boarded a Hornet aircraft, those who did not, the time-displaced couple and Doc, using Covenant plasma jetpacks.
- Dolor, Black, and Isaac encountered a soldier in black clothing, only red pinpricks of goggles showing. The man had a needle filled with ADAM on his body. He recognized Isaac as Reaper, and was killed by Sparky, who knocked Black and Dolor unconscious. The pair were taken away by Black's counterpart/summon Yubel, who notified the two of the time's dead Interferences. They took to driving Mongoose ATVs that they stole toward the massive tower that was the capital. Upon arrival, they snuck in, learning that the soldiers could use Plasmids, and stealing a computer chip from a laptop turret of the Perfect Dark universe before a hostile program turned it and another turret on the pair. Not long after, the two unlocked jail cells on lower levels of the building as a distraction. The pair did not know that Isaac, having escaped Sparky's knockout attack, had found a man in strange SPARTAN II armor and Alviorus, the Chieftain of the Brutes, and had been brought to the cells, nor that he had met a pair of humans there, one a Marine corporal and the other a man named A-Sayf.
- Reaper, Phantom, and Diana together had been working on a way to break through to the real world. However, the closest they camecwas bringing an Alexander Karsath of an alternate universe to their time. He spoke with the three, Phantom via a hologram, as they watched the rebels approach. The villains had been notified about the time travelers by the unknown armored man (nicknamed "Hayabusa") and Diana's children. Greg and Kynthia were wounded badly, and the Hornet thrown like a rag doll by Reaper's Darkness skills. Reaper was then notified about an incident involving a "Seraphim" Chimera that had to be locked away due to attempted insurrection, a fact that delighted Alexander. Fal took a chip containing Kira to move forward, and Adan was thrown away, the bomb along with him. Shortly after, Fal found and carried Kyn and Greg away from Letum and Nyx, who had shot and intended to capture them, until he was stopped by Hayabusa and another armored man, the angry "Marathon Eva," who killed the Elite, then Abigail Williams shortly after. Meanwhile, Hayabusa took the couple, disappearing with them as Isaac came in time to talk with this Karsath, who had seen the alien's murder, about what was going on. Hayabusa, in the meantime, set down the couple and began to use some type of healing magic to fix Greg's wounds, while Kynthia, awake, planned to surprise the man by attacking him to save herself and her boyfriend.
