FRLG+ Alt Main Ideaa

FRLG+ Alt Main Ideas:

1. Nidoqueen

Would be brutal to train as it has Scratch/Body Slam instead of Peck/Thrash and worse attacking stats, but would be similar to Nidoking

2. Butterfree [DONE]

Doesn't seem too bad at first glance, but has to swap train a bit early on until fully evolved

3. Ch'ding [DONE]

Would probably disobey, might need to do some funky stuff with the EXP yield periodically

4. Alakazam

Viable since you can get the Link Cable, but this guy would suck since it's pretty much Psybeam/Confusion/Shock Wave/Psychic, maybe Shadow Ball if you want to spend a ton of money. Calm Mind is nice too. catching it would be awful

Options:

Squirtle starter, YOLO ball (probably fastest but riskiest option)
Squirtle starter, train Butterfree, Sleep Powder (slowest option)
Bulbasaur starter, Sleep Powder (kinda bad since you have to skip Misty)

5. Zynx

Similar to Ch'ding with disobedience, you also get it super late which is kinda lame. HP Grass 43

6. Dugtrio

Would probably have a shit endgame, but could work with EQ/Rock Slide/Sludge Bomb/Aerial Ace/Rock Tomb/Secret Power

7. Mimien

Might be interesting, but has the Abra catch problem. HP Water 56

8. Gyarados

Would absolutely stomp, but Intimidate is slow, also need to swap train on a dozen fights yikes
