- Thank you for choosing Présence, a Discord bot developed by @dxwgy. By adding Présence to your Discord server or using its commands, you agree to the following terms.
- 1. Data we collect
- Présence only stores the data its features need:
- - Server settings: the server ID and the role and channel IDs chosen by server administrators with /setup (expected role, manager role, publishing channel, log channel), plus their options.
- - Attendance posts: for each attendance created, the message and channel IDs, its title, description, date, optional role, limit and image link. This allows reminders, automatic closing and repeating posts.
- - Reminders (/remindme): your user ID, the channel ID, the reminder time and text.
- - Weapon registry (/weapons): user IDs and the item names administrators assign to them.
- - Bot announcements: which servers received an announcement from the bot, to never send it twice.
- Présence does NOT store usernames, avatars, online status, message content or member lists. Attendance answers only exist inside the Discord message itself. Optional absence reasons are posted in the server's log channel chosen by its administrators and are not stored by the bot.
- 2. Member information
- To run its features, Présence reads member information from Discord in real time (members of the expected role). This is used to count and remind members who haven't answered an attendance post. This information is not saved.
- 3. How we use your data
- Data is used only to provide the bot's features. It is never sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
- 4. Storage and security
- Data is stored in a database hosted on Microsoft Azure (Sweden). It is encrypted at rest and only the bot can access it.
- 5. Data retention and deletion
- - Reminders are deleted as soon as they are sent.
- - When Présence is removed from a server, all data related to that server is deleted immediately.
- - Any user can ask for their personal data to be deleted by contacting @dxwgy on Discord or through our support server: https://discord.gg/fQmMp8av3r. Requests are handled within 7 days.
- 6. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms at any time; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Présence after a change means you accept the updated terms.
