- this is fairly overdue, i feel, but let's go over some stuff.
- i wanted to stream more in february (probably a casual playthrough or two for the most part) but i didn't. i have a hard time psyching myself up for streams, and i end up putting it off and off until there's no more time left. i also thought that Commune Corvidae would hold my interest longer, but after the first run i did with LiveSplit i just didn't feel like going back to it for some reason. i might still play it some more at a later date, it was a fun thing to work on.
- i haven't really felt motivated with any speedrunning stuff for the past few weeks. the two most likely options were Commune Corvidae or returning to Pebbles% in Rain World for a better time, but i just didn't feel like doing either. part of the reason for this lack of motivation might be irl-related, but i'm working on that.
- my speedrunning stuff come May (hopefully) will be taken up by Anodyne 2, but in the meantime and once i'm done with ano2 i don't really know where to go next. i do want to stream more casual playthroughs, but i don't want to stop being a "speedrun streamer"; i still want to stream those enough for them to be considered a mainstay.
- i'm feeling like my best options for my next speedgames aren't necessarily new ones that i find, but games i've played (or even run) before - going back to something i enjoyed casually to try to enjoy it as a speedgame, or learning other categories in games i've already run. with that in mind, here's a list of my ideas for what i could learn to run, with some notes and thoughts about each one:
