P4ntz in 2019

OMG a new year pastebin! First of all, i just wanna thank you all for an amazing 2018! It sure had its ups and downs, but when it came to streaming, my god this year was a blast! Very thankful for everything you guys have done and for the community we have built! This pastebin will mostly be talking about what to expect in the first few months of 2019, as well as some self goals id like to post, just so i feel more accountable and have more drive to achieve those goals! If those goals are out in the open, i feel like i let people down if i don't achieve them, which is something i don't like doing, so its more of a personal reason to post about them than anything else! Regardless, lets get into what streams will look like coming up!

so no streams till i get back from AGDQ. i am leaving tonight (Friday, the 4th) and will be getting back late on the 13th. depending on how i feel, streams will resume the 14th, AND i think i should come back with a bang. Glover 100%. this is an incentive ive owed for almost 7 months now, so i feel like its time i start cracking down on those. below is a list of those incentives, and i hope to tackle a large chunk of them this month! so if there are games on that list you are excited for, then get ready as i should be pumping them out this month!

Other than incentives, I do think i will be leaning my content towards some more casual stuff (starting with finishing up Tales of Symphonia) until i get more of a drive to continue speedrunning or find a game that can keep me interested. I do owe TTYD 100% learning, and that will still happen, and i'll see how i like the run, who knows, maybe tha'tll be the run i will mix in with some casual stuff! I know a lot of you do enjoy my casual content, and i know some of you miss my speedruns, but hopefully ill find a nice balance that keeps me wanting to stream and not worry about numbers or my mental helath!

Baten kaitos 100% was also hit, and i will say i am aiming for the summer to do that run! I have a lot to learn and i think summer would be the best time to tackle that beast!

I also owe a pokemon let's go complete pokedex run, but i had to give back the switch before i could do the run back. Instead i will do a pokedex max% of Eevee, as thats the best i can do at the moment. sorry if more people were looking forward to the double screen controller chaos!

You may have noticed i have been doing a decent bit of #sponsored content. i was worried at first when doing it, but god damn I've been having a blast trying out new games like that. i know some of those games aren't the most interesting and a lot of you don't care for it, but i just want to thank everyone that stuck around a gave it a chance with me. doing These sponsored content actually really helps pay the bills, and makes me worry a lot less about doing this full time. I hate pushing for subs, and I've accepted that sometimes i will have to do #Sellout marathons, but i truly only care about having fun and making content for others to enjoy. i started streaming with that purpose, and i feel incredibly lucky that i can do this as my job, but it never has been about the money to me. honestly i make less doing this than i did working as a chef, but my god am i happier doing this. I feel like sponsored content like the ones i am doing actually eases my mind about worrying about the support of others. I am grateful for all the support, but until now it almost felt like to go down this road i had to expect the support to continue, and i really didn't like thinking like that. all in all, expect more sponsored content and thank you again for all the support!

I started December with a bit goal for a fun run as a little trial. I actually really liked this idea as i feel like i can at least give back a bit for the support, instead of just accepting it. I have some ideas to continue with it. I feel like giving it one more go before i start doing this every month, but since January wont have a ton of streams, i think i start it when i get back and end it by the end of February, as this also gives me a chance to catch up on the things i already owe. The run this would be for?  Animal Crossing Complete Museum.

As for personal goals, i want to lose some weight and get in shape. those are the big two. I am going to try to eat healthier and cut down on soda/pop/coke/whatever you want to call it. I've tried this multiple times but i couldn't stick with it. I may need some pushing, and some help. If you see me drink soda on stream, call me out on it, same with ordering a pizza, or even ordering any food for that matter. Even if i make not the most healthy food at home, it'll at least be healthier and more cost efficient than ordering in. On top of that, I say i am a full time streamer, but i don't feel like i put in the full time hours. Starting when i get back from AGDQ, I want to hit 40 hours of streams a week. sure i do things related to streaming outside of just streaming, but it still doesn't feel like i am giving this my all. I am sick of feeling like I could be bigger because i haven't gave it my all, or that I don't deserve the support i am getting when i feel like I'm slacking off. This year is going to be a big year for improving me. I want to be someone i could consider worth looking up to. worth supporting. instead of just feeling lucky that i am in the position i am in.

so Youtube! This year i also plan on tackling Youtube a bit more seriously too! Not by a lot, but i will be uploading the stream highlights and speedruns i do on stream. ever since the Nintendo creator program thing shut down, i have been making about an 600% profit increase on Youtube, which still is next to nothing, but honestly its another guilt free way for me to continue making income and continue doing what i love! I will be aiming to do daily uploads on youtube, so if you do see something you think would be a great highlight, let me know! My youtube most likely will just be a nice way to archive my streams, so if you are looking for something i have done, good chance it'll be there! If you are someone already watching the videos i post on youtube, thank you!

Next thing i wanna talk about is discord. I wanna grow the community that uses the discord. I am happy with everyone who uses it right now, but i just feel like it could be so much more! im not blaming anyone for not being part of the discord, i blame myself for not being the most active in my own discord. I am going to be putting a lot more effort into talking on my discord, as well as just improving it in general. I have plans to add a rules channel and a MTG channel. one because we needed clear rules and pinned tweets weren't cutting it, and the other because magic the gathering is a decent sized interest of mine, and some other people i know in the community. if you have any ideas for any other channels let me know! on top of that, this year i will actually be hosting anime nights and movie nights. I've been HORRID at starting up those, but ill making a channel about both those and we can work on getting everything setup!

Also i will probably end up streaming league of legends or some other content i don't want to stream on my account on Willywick, my bot. I'll try this out with my promos for the next season, but just a heads up, that's going to be my league alt.
