  65. 8. One of the reasons for our clan continued 'success' is our members' 'one-for-all, all-for-one' mentality. So please play your part to protect and defend our clan's facilities and participate in clan battles whenever you can.

  91. The admins have introduced an automatic system for rewards to be given out automatically to all warriors who defend clan facilities.

  97. Currently, the reward is set at 100%, although this will change if defenders are required to wear some enchanted arts to finish a battle fast [like when we have doubles/triple defenses within 20-30 minutes], or when a facility is badly damaged.

  315. ••• Tips On Doing Defense & Increase Win Rate •••
  316.  
  317. Hiya bud,
  318.  
  319. There's no 100% sure way to win a defense. No one can win defense 100% of the time. So don't be dishearten if you lose a few. We all do. :)
  320.  
  321. But it's not hard to get a 70-80% win rate. :)
  322.  
  323. Since beginning of this year, almost 100 members have at least a 70% win rate and higher. :)
  324.

  327. Here are some tips -
  328.  
  329. [1] Always wear at least full arts for defense. You should be able to kill at least your direct enemy
  330.  
  331. Of course, wearing 1-2 enchants will increase the chance of winning [ESPECIALLY if you are the highest level in the team]. If you can't kill your direct enemy, your lower level team mates can't help much. :)
  332.  
  333. And since winning gives a gold reward, wearing 1-2 enchantments = higher win rate = more gold reward = will cover for most/all of the enchantments worn.

  336. [2] Whenever possible, try to join in a balanced [+/- 0-2 combat levels] team.
  337.  
  338. Of course, it's not always possible to be in a balanced team, like when there are emergencies [like less than 1-2 minutes left and many empty spots] and members have to jump in to fill empty spots.

  341. [3] ALWAYS play as a team and communicate with each other. If everyone does his own things, it won't matter how much enchantments a team have, they might still lose the battle due to poor team tactics.
  342.

  344. [4] [IMPORTANT] Look at and know what's happening in the WHOLE battlefield. Imagine all 3 armies belong to you. Don't just concentrate on your direct enemy and forget about what's happening elsewhere.
  345.  
  346.  
  347. [5] Always try to identify the most dangerous enemy [Chaos caster, demons with lots of gated units, etc] and enemy troops [big stack of shooters, etc] and work together and kill that enemy soonest!
  348.  
  349.  
  350. [6] NEVER let a big stack of shooters shoot from start to end of battle ! Almost guaranteed loss. Block/kill them soonest. :)
  351.  
  352. [7] Leave slow, turtle enemy stacks [like Guardians, Ogre etc] as LAST TO KILL. Don't spend precious turns killing them. Gang smash it together with your team mates at the end.
  353.  
  354.  
  355. [8] A magic Chaos/Nature caster should never be the highest level in the team. Magic casters should have equal/higher combat level Might-build team mates to help kill his direct enemy and allow his Hero enough time to keep casting spells.

  358. [9] A magic caster should preferably be in the corner position.
  359.  
  360.  
  361. [10] If you are much lower level than your team mates, try to support your team mates since you cannot hurt the higher level enemies much ->

  363. • Play as support build [Holy, Darkness] and buff [Stone/Rapid/Bless] your higher-level team mate(s), and/or nerf [Delay, Weakness, Curse etc] the enemies.
  364.  
  365. • Use one of your smaller stack unit to help take retaliation for your higher level team mate.
  366.  
  367. • Buff your higher level Might team mate(s) troops instead of your own.
  368.  
  369. Remember that if the highest level in the team die early, it's very hard to win the battle. :)

  374. If you are playing a low/mid faction level, drinking a Potion of Skill can help your army get the virtual bonuses [Attack, Defense and Initiative] of higher faction levels.

  376. How It Works -

  378. • The potion effects will only work if at least ONE HUMAN player is EQUAL or LOWER Combat Level than yourself.
  379.  
  380. • You will get all the faction leveling up bonuses [-1 faction level] of this team mate. So if this team mate is faction level 10, you will be 'virtual' faction level 9.

  382. • So make sure you have at least one team mate who is EQUAL or LOWER combat level with a high faction level.
  383.  
  384. • If you are using this Potion for defense, don't create ! Check the combat and FSL of the members of an opened team, and join a team that will maximize the potion effects.

  387. [12] IMPORTANT - If you are low/mid faction level, wear at least 1-2 enchantments to compensate for your weaker army.

  394. 1. ** Pass Control To A Clan Mate During DEFENSE Battle **
  395.  
  396. You can pass control of your army to a clan mate if you are having lag or connection problems during battle.

  399. [A} Conditions To Pass Control -
  400.  
  401. • You can only pass control to a clan mate EQUAL or HIGHER combat level than you.
  402.  
  403. • The player taking control must NOT be doing another battle or in a card game.
  404.  
  405. • The player taking control must NOT be WATCHING a battle or in a card game.

  407. [b} How To Pass Control -
  408.  
  409. • Inform [clan mail, clan chat, Skype, etc] the clan member that you are passing control to him/her.
  410.  
  411. • During battle, click on the 'Arrow/circle' thing at the top left of the battlefield.

  413. • Select the clan member [equal or higher level] you want to pass control of your army to.
  414.  
  415. • Click Ok.

  417. • Tell clan member to go to his/her CHARACTER PAGE [at the bottom right of page], and click 'Accept'

  419. • The player taking control will be automatically brought to the battle after clicking 'Accept'.

  422. 2. ** AI Automatically Taking Control **

  424. If a player misses 3 turns, AI will automatically take control of your army and play for you. So there's no chance of AFK in defense battles. )

  426. {NOTE} - You can regain control from AI by clicking on the little box at the bottom right of the battle screen, next to 'Show all messages'.

  429. 3. ** Unlimited Changing of Faction **
  430.  
  431. You can change faction as many times as you like, so even if you are playing a new/low faction, you can always change faction immediately to help out in defenses emergencies, and change back after the defense. )

  434. 4. ** Fighting With Clan Mates **
  435.  
  436. • As in a family of 250 members, there are bound to be little misunderstandings or disagreement here and there. It's inevitable and unavoidable. So we encourages all members to be more understanding and tolerant. :)

  439. • AFK, loss of connection, lagging and problems in loading a battle are part and parcel of the game. All of us have experienced it.
  440.  
  441. No member would join a battle in full/enchanted arts just to deliberately AFK from the start and waste his/her gold/arts. It's just not logical.
  442.  
  443. So when you experience such cases, try to take maximum time for your initial turns to give the member chance to load his/her battle. And if he/she really afk, try to be more understanding - He/she probably felt worse than the team mates as he/she not only wasted his gold and arts, but also let his team mates down. :)

  453. If you are playing a new faction with low faction level, drinking a Potion of Skill can help your army get the virtual bonuses [Attack, Defense and Initiative] of higher faction levels.

  477. [1] Armaments are PERMANENT. Once you win one, it will be available to you forever. So try to earn as many as you whenever possible. :)
