- Best Adventure Based On a Pre-existing Hussian Work - Jailbreak to Bard Quest to Midnight Crew to Hivebent - this award will go to an adventure which has put an entertaining spin on these Hussnasty works. (New category)
- Most Immersive/Innovative - for an adventure that goes above and beyond the standard forum format to engage their readers. (New category)
- Best Flash/Extended Animation Update - Linking to a specific page would make the judges' work for this (hopefully self-explanatory) award a lot easier. (New category)
- Best Original Soundtrack - One of our new "community-oriented" awards this season, this one goes to a piece of music composed especially for a MPSAFA. (New category)
- Best Animated Art - Flash or .gifs or some kind of speed-scrolling version of flip-a-rama, this goes to an adventure whose pictures can't seem to keep still. (Previous winners: Crystal Rave, Roomland)
- Best Still Art - One of the most hotly [strk]bitched over[/strk] contested Awards in the judging chambers, this is an award for technical excellence in the visual medium. (Previous winners: Supersoldier, Deadbeat)
- Best Character Design Human/Humanoid division - New category for adorable/elegant/memorable/positiveadjective character designs. There will be two awards presented in this category, one for humans/humanoids (humans, trolls, carapersonas, furred/scaled/winged bipeds et al), and...
- Best Character Design Nonhuman division - the second award in the Character Design category, for all characters that don't fit in that first one.
- Best Relationship - awarded for the most touching/adorable/hilarious bond shared between two characters. (Previous winners: Norm+Andy ([s]mechsifying), Jimmy+Simian (Jimmy+Simian))
- Outstanding Antagonist - awarded to a memorable, bastardly, dastardly sort, who'd have the gall to try take over an Awards ceremony. (Previous winners: Kickboxer Einstein (1984 Quest), The Treasurer (Fencing Club Adventures))
- Best Cast - Awarded to an adventure with a stellar lineup of characters. (Previous winners: 1984 Quest, Fencing Club Adventures)
- Best Supporting Male - Awarded to a dude who's cool enough to be the protagonist but enough of a bro to let his less cool friend take the pole position. (Previous winners: Steve the Ferryman (Afterlife MSPA), Shenanigan Rex (Attackening: The Revengenance))
- Best Supporting Female - [i]Ladies[/i]. :winky: (Previous winners: Miranda (Threnody), Fran (Everybody Dies))
- Best Sidekick - Awarded to a non-human critter who'll loyally serve by the protagonist's side. (Previous winners: Nigel's Thornberry (Space Opera: The Drip Chronicles), Dwayne Poncho (Deadbeat))
- Best Playable Male - Best Bloke In Show. (Previous winners: Simon Locke (Supersoldier), Awakelemon (Forum Adventure Adventure))
- Best Playable Female - Craap I'm running out of ways to write this well you guys should figure this one out anyway. (Previous winners: Alanna (Alanna), Jormungandr (Jormungandr Goes to Hell))
- Best Suggester - Not, strictly speaking, an Award, this is nonetheless a way to give a shout out to somebody you see making the MSPAFA Subforum a better place.
- Fanart Parade - We're also going to show off the cool stuff people have drawn/made for other people, so also attach your favourite piece of fanart you've seen to your Nominations list.
- Best Hidden Gem - Awarded to a small, highly underrated adventure. No specific limit on thread size - if you think the adventure's deserving, nominate it! (Previous winner: Jonesin' for Pop)
