Battle Royale

"MID Kappa-4 is deployed, Commander." A voice spoke over the earpiece.
     Blackshot pressed the earpiece and replied, "Affirmative." He glanced back to his fellow Protectorates and laughed. "It's funny considering how these retards treated my sister."
	"I thought Vengeance is not your sister?" Jemwolf asked as he crouched beside his subordinate.
	"That's what I thought at first." Blackshot replied. "But the files don't lie especially if it comes from Baby Jesus."
	"Agreed." Jemwolf replied as he lifted the binoculars over his eyes.
	"What are you doing with that?" Jeth asked as his irises suddenly glow. "Dude, we have super vision."
	Lloyd stared at him awkwardly.
	"Well whatever the hell you call that thing." Jeth retorted.
	"Shh." Eric pointed at the black van down below.
	The Windwalker Team were waiting on the top of a two storey building. Below them, just across the building was a warehouse sandwiched between two apartment blocks made out of red bricks. The lights on both apartments were killed off three hours ago because it was past midnight. However, it was none of the Protectorates' concern as they continued to watch the events down below.
	"Seems like the package hits home." Lloyd muttered.
	"What's your order?" Blackshot asked as he casts a side way glance at Jemwolf.
	"We order the MIDs to surround the warehouse." He paused. "How many are they?"
	"We have Kappa-4, Alpha-10 and Delta-6." Eric replied.
	"Instruct K-4 to take up position behind the warehouse, A-10 to the left and D-6 to the right."
	Eric spoke briefly over the radio. Below, they saw moving figures covered by the shadow of the night line up, ready to strike at any given moment.
	"Remember," Jemwolf said. "We are fighting one of their 'anomalous' faction taking hold of one of their 'anomalous magical holiest of all thingamajing'. We need to retrieve it." By the way of his tone, it seems like Jemwolf didn't like forging an unholy alliance with them as well.
	"Yes, Paladin-Confessor." Lloyd replied.
	"Tribune-Commander Blackshot," Jemwolf called. "Take the lead."
	"Affirmative, sir." He replied as he jumped over the building and landed with a loud thud! The others have done the same, landing behind them.
	For this operation, the Protectorates have chosen to use their personal loadouts instead of the standard ones where they were issued with a Blast Rifle, a Ray Pistol and a 50 inches long combat knife. Blackshot drew his empyrean katana from the sheath attached on his magnetic harness located on his back. The others have done the same, drawing their blades that shone brightly.
	Jeth was playing with it by letting the moon's reflection hit it and directing the reflection on one of the MID Operator's visor.
	"Stop pissing about." Jemwolf warned as Blackshot began moving towards the huge accordion.
	"I have a bad feeling about this, Confessor." Blackshot said as he stared at the accordion.
	"It will be." Jemwolf says. "I sense...something."
	"Well, whatever it is." Blackshot stopped mid speech as he punched the accordion, sending it bouncing across the warehouse.
	"Oh my God, we're screwed." Jeth replied as he gulped.
	The warehouse was lively. Six white tables were scattered surrounded by four chairs each. They were occupied by Demons from the Baron caste while some were from off-duty Demon Legionnaires. The Protectorates could also see a few Monsters, notably Bangungot, Aswang, Baba Yaga, Daevas, Golems and some Succubus flirting with a group of Wekufe. Hades, Loki, Seth and Benzaiten were also seen discussing with their target.
	"ORDER EVERYONE TO OPEN FIRE!!" Jemwolf yelled.
	The Demons performing the song, Lone Digger by Caravan Palace, couldn't care any less as the chaos in front of them unfolds.
	As Jemwolf avoided a black sphere that almost destroys him, he sprinted at the assailant and swings at the Wekufe, amputating his left arm. He strikes once more, decapitating the monster. He glanced to his left as a precaution to any enemies capable of stealth when he saw a Golem charging at him. He thrust his left free hand; a streak of lightning hits the neck of the Golem. The damage was enormous that the head of the Monster fell on the ground, crumbling in an instant.
	"Behind you, Confessor!" Blackshot yelled as he sliced a Yakshini in half. Blood sprayed at him, covering his face and the Battle Gear he wore. Jemwolf ordered his subordinate to duck as he sent a kick at an Aswang that almost clawed Blackshot.
	Jeth launched a left hook at the face of a Flesh Eater Legionnaire. Its left cheek was bruised. Before the Demon could retaliate, Jeth launched a right knee strike at the "nose" of the Demon that resembles the gill of a fish. Too bad, the Demon doesn't have any eyes for him to poke. When the Legionnaire fell on his back, Jeth crushed its face with the sole of his armored boot.
	"So, it begins..." Hades grinned at the sight before drinking a tequila from a blood stained shot glass.
	"Well, I guess I'm outta here?" Seth asked the other deities around him.
	"Come on, stay around for a while." Loki protested.
	"Fine."
