- Trombone waddled about through the snowy Petalburg Forest, shivering as she trekked through the snow-covered area by herself and her six Pokemon.
- "Eugh, I'm so cold... I should've worn a coat." Trombone grabbed a Great Ball from her bag and pressed the small, red button on it, sending out Sardonyx, her elegant Ninetales "Sard, light this entire forest on fire! I bet that'd make a good, warm fire..." Trombone fantasized about lighting Petalburg Forest on fire ever since she had to trek through it with her Treecko and get harassed by the Bug- and occasional Normal, Grass, and Poison- typed Pokes.
- Sard, however, actually had morals and decided that burning down a forest wasn't a nice thing to do. She just sat there, not moving at all. Trombone groaned in frustration and sent Sard back into her ball.
