Jin, Mu & Kirei Scroll Retrieval Mission

Mu seemed to be quite happy and content, as opposed to the last few weeks where failure after failure had driven him into a bit of depression that culminated into a serious injury and a month away from regular duties and missions. Just then, opportunity was presented to the young trio when a man came out of the mansion behind them. He called out for their attention which beckoned his attention. Mu would pivot towards the north and see what seemed to be an older more distinguished soldier who wore a chuunin vest and a Jonin suit.

"We need a squadron to head out immediately. There's been a rogue ninja who stole a scroll from the Library," the Jounin announced, scanning the small crowd of soldiers present intensely to find a proper leader for the squad. His eyes, of course, would stop upon Jin.

"Kagami Jin, right? Pick two men and go after this rogue. Once you take him out and recover the scroll, return to the village. If it takes more than a few days, then so be it. Recovery of the scroll is the main mission and failure is not an option." As the man explained, his hand shot outward toward Jin as he released the scroll. It would fly through the air and present itself to be caught by the Kagami.

"Do. Not. Fail." He said sternly with a cold look before he headed back into the mansion.
Kagami, Jin looking at Kirei, Jin would FIRST explain the reason behind his guilt... The reason he believe Megumi had left, and never returned... He brushed the hair of his back, this blonde teen sitting down indian style, looking into his own shadow... It was split in two, him always trying to manage those two sides of him, the civilian and of course, the soldier...

"Egoki, a samurai who cut Mu's back... He was kind before, I suppose I let such get to me... But then that day came about, our exchange of fine poetry and wisdom of the world came to an end... I was ordered to rob him of his sight and so I did... I suppose it caught me off guard, but Megumi looked at me as if I were a demon, we made up but that image stayed.." He sighs, that was when he heard the voice of the Jonin..

The soldiery spirit within him had awoken, listening to the words and mission assignment given to him.. Jin's aura had changed from this innocence into that of the same ANBU who had brought Jin this far.
Kirei pretty much said she would do itt as she moved the koala she was holding to one arm. And raises her hand up.  "Ohh ok I wanna go!" She says happily as she was looking foward to this. After all it was going to be her first mission so she was really happy to be able to do something like this.

"Oh..so that is why you are guilty?" She says as she goes over and plops her koala on his shoulder. To cheer him up of course. "Ok Dr Koala can make you feel better." She simply says as she was really looking foward to the mission.
Mu says,  You were just doing your job, Jin.
Mu says, I'm sure she hadn't held that against you.
Kagami, Jin turning an eye towards Kirei and Mu... Young Jin would smile, "I'm glad I have such willing comrades, who have my back..Mu, will you come along too?" He had no issue with anyone joining him on the mission...So he wouldn't need his ANBU mask, if their faces were visible, so should his be.
Mu places a hand to the back of his head as he thought it through. It would be his first mission since he had gotten out off injury reserve.

"Yeah, gotta get my feet wet again anyway. No better way than to hunt down the dog who thought he could steal from the Highlord and live," Mu replied in agreement.
Kirei goes back to hugging her Koala now. As she didnt have much else to really do right now.
"Soooo lets go!" She says as she really wanted to go and do her first mission.
Mu peers towards the squadron leader.
Mu says, So what's the plan, Jin?
Kagami, Jin says, Kick names, take ass.
Mu says, Shouldn't you bring Popoya then?
Kagami, Jin says, Haha, no need..
Kagami, Jin says, Anyway.
Kagami, Jin says, Both of you listen.
Kagami, Jin says, We won't show our numbers, if may be, we will take advantage of the woodland elements.
Kagami, Jin says, You are both capable of the transfformation jutsu, it isn't impossible to assume the image of a common animal such as a deer.
Mu says, True.
Kagami, Jin says, I will distract him, because I'm sure he will grow suspicious of sounds drawing closer to him.
Kagami, Jin says, That's when you two drop in, once he either does the most typical thing  a shinobi does... Act...
Kagami, Jin says, He likely cannot dodge the three of us at once..
Mu says,  There's no chance he can dodge all three of us unless he is a Jonin.
Kagami, Jin says, Mhm...And even so, every Jonin tires out and are human.
Kagami, Jin traveling with Mu and Kirei, the young soldier had to look at his map. He was unsure as to where Falena was since he has not been there for quite some time. The last time he was there, he was caught in some what of a genjutsu, making him change direction, but he knew the general loction. He just had to get into that nations territory once again, and from there, he would likely be able to pin point his old directions.

"We're almost there, even though it is somewhat of a miles away, we have to keep an open eye out for all the neighboring lands.... Because the Crimson Light might be lurking... Though they've been silent, we must expect the unexpected."
Kirei follows along the best she could while taking her panda with her. She was enjoying be so far away from the place even past her home! She was constantly looking around and such at..pretty much everything.
Mu walked alongside the other two. He stretched his arms and cracked his neck. He felt quite loose and he could feel his chakra churning within him, anticipating the battle ahead. He also knew the he couldn't jump the gun. He refused to be a tool of the Highlord's dissatisfaction. On this trip, he wanted things to go off without a hitch.

As jin produced a map, Mu leaned toward him and looked at the map as well. "For sure..last thing we need to do is run into a troop of those red-coats..But I have some new techniques for them if we do," Mu said this with confidence as he peered back to Kirei. "Plus, we have a powerful sensor type with us. If she activates those eyes, there isn't anyone that is going to sneak up on us or bisversa without we knowing before hand."
Kirei goes ahead and triggers her dojutsu since the mentioned it. Opps...
Kagami, Jin had traveled with the other two for a number of days, having to deal with the harsh weather as well as the situation it took on them to arrive. Day in and day out, Mu and Kirei had to follow Jin on the side lines of the woods while he acted as a tool of distraction. They would have trained their abilities with chakra control by trying to maintain the transformation jutsu for a long period of time.

Jin used his senosry abilities to try and track the large chakras of teh criminal but nothing could defeat the all around 360 degree ratio Kirei had over the map... She was able to keep them covered from both the front and the back, and as for Mu, he proved his use, keeping their arms ready, always having a clone or two made of fire in case they would have to use a diversion...

There was a lot at stake here, many things to be loss if they were to do this the wrong way and screw up. But the criminal was the one to of shown himself, yes, he was the one to act... ambushing them, catching the three off guard with his traps.. Or so he had thought... Kirei, she was the one to see this man for who he was, his traps and predict the outcome of the events before his chakra would fully mold into a deadly weapon..

That was when Mu came in, destroying the follow up of attacks made by the man named Kusinagi... and Kusinagi had only one regret, that he did not encounter Mu and his fire style abilities... Kirei kept his chakra on a lock, slicing his chakra circuits through the use of her unique hyuuga-hybrid sword style... Now the man stood there, his arms burned to a crisp due to Mu's precise aim through the use of his fire style and his clones exploding into an amplifier of his own jutsu instead of just simply bursting into flames...

Jin carried out his mission, retrieving the scroll after manipulating his shadow to materialize and pierce the man through his skull... He said no words, only a 'Thank You' through the Ninshu hand sign... He took the scroll that was requested of him, leading them into the territory and gates of a land far, far from home...Falena..
Kagami, Jin says, My god...
Kagami, Jin says, That was not the guy!
Mu says, What??
Kagami, Jin says, This was a paid runner!
Mu says, What do you mean "paid runner"?
Kagami, Jin says, A hired decoy... This scroll can't be what we're looking for, is it?
Mu says, Did they tell you what the scroll had in it?
Kagami, Jin says, Oh wait...Nevermind!
Kagami, Jin holds the open scroll above his head, "I got the missing scroll~ We got the missing scroll~ And guess what's inside it~" He sung in joy hoping Kirei and Mu would join.
Mu didn't catch the signal to sing but perhaps it wouldn't have mattered anyways.

"What is it?" Mu's after thought was that it wasn't their business. They were suppose to get it and take it back to Zexen.
Kagami, Jin says, Hm, since we're bringing this cargo back, it's safe for us to know in case we run into trouble on the way back...
Mu says, That's true I guess.
Kagami, Jin says, Hm...
Kagami, Jin shows Mu and Kirei the scroll.
Mu peered at the contents and nodded.

"So, are we headed back or what?" Mu yawned a bit, settling his hands into the pockets of his jacket. He felt pretty good and was still full of chakra yet his stamina from the long trek and brief battle left him full of fatigue.
Kagami, Jin nods his head, "Of course, we have to get some sleep after all," Jin would have done one thing to make their voyage faster, if they planned on going back soon.. He summoned his gator, hopped onto its back and instructed the others to follow.
Kagami, Jin says, This will save us the run, taking the Moonlight passage.
Mu scaled with a quick jump as he landed upon its back.

"It's not going to trip that I'm on its back, is it?" He peered towards the gator's snout for any unfavorable activity.
Kagami, Jin laughing, Jin replied, "No not at all, -right- Kurogi-san?"

But the gator growled and bubbles emerged from the water...Their trip would be a little faster since it was by water like sailing a boat.
Kagami, Jin says, The travel back home is always faster.
