  5. We've struggled with Alliance for a long time, changed multiple managers and it has never been close to meeting our Horde side. On the other hand, Ravencrest Union has had great success on Alliance so, as most of you have noticed by now, we've decided to merge our two communities. Hopefully, with our now combined knowledge and numbers, we can slowly bring it to Horde levels. So we'd like to welcome everyone from RCU that joined in the last couple of days.

  9. Ad Reward System

  11. We have some big changes coming but the biggest one and certainly something long due is the Ad Reward System. Our advertising has been fine, but at the same time it was driven mostly by a small pool of people, putting a lot of pressure on a few individuals. Majority, of other communities, in a attempt to grow, has been offering higher advertising percentages to its members. We tried for a long time to do it without, keeping our expenses at minimum. This new system obviously requires us to increase expenses, but rest assured the higher expenses will increase the number of runs and in turn be a net gain. Most of you have already been notified of these changes but to reiterate. New cuts: Tier 1 guilds (top 50) and mythic+ 12%, Tier 2 (above 50) 15% and Tier 3 (signups) 18%. This accounts for the ad system going from 11 to 16~%. Transfer fund is staying unchanged at 3%

  17. There here will be quite some confusion with the new system and how it works. We tried to boil it down to the basics but it is somewhat complex. The advertiser team will follow a rank up structure and "level" up from Junior to Trainee, Senior and finally Elite Advertiser, gaining a one-time rank up reward. On top of that there is a goal oriented system with each cycle. It provides reachable goals for everyone to achieve and rewards them accordingly along the way.

  29. Main goal of strikes is to enforce the rules and guarantee quality. Lately though, the strike system feelt quite inconsistent and in some cases unfair. Because of that we will be introducing a generalized set of rules for each case and situation. Feel free to leave ideas and feedback about different systems.

  32. There is a lot of contention about the bot, most people don't like it. Hate to use it etc. Now with @terenas in the mix, I'm sure we can make a bot that will be a great addition and help to advertisers and boosters alike. I'd implore you to provide constructive criticism instead of just calling it shit and ignoring to use it.

  36. Discord became big and bloated, with a lot of redundant and unnecessary channels. We've tried to fix it to our best ability but it still feels like we didn't quite hit the mark. It would be great if you could leave ideas, feedback or solutions about that as well.
