  1. A surreal RotMG Story - SodaZone
  2.
  3. It’s a regular night, sitting at my desk grinding Lost Halls for them folk white bags. My eyes are drooping from the constant sight of 2 mana and a Void mark. A faint red light emerges from the window the left of my screen. A group of 5 cultists dressed in colored robes approaches me and begin chanting unknown words. It gets louder and louder and soon it is unbearable to leave my ears uncovered.
  4. Night, Tar, and Coal, things one might mistake for what is bearing witness to them. As i open my eyes, I sit up and wake up see a calm beach with rolling waves crashing onto the surface. Standing up is a struggle, but a man with a shiny white breast plate comes up to me and offers me a small milky white drink and states, “Here, it's a potion of Holy Water, it helps negate the effects of beginning.” I ask him, “Beginning? What am I beginning?” I get in response, “Welcome to Realm of the Mad God!,” and strides off killing enemies I had not previously seen. I am, for unknown reasons, sucked into the game I was previously playing.
  5. Feeling better after consuming that drink, I start wandering around looking for other people who might be generous enough to help me out. From my knowledge of the game i know to stay away from the dark mountains looming in the land in front of me. After what seems like hours of wandering around stabbing blue and green cubes, I come across a knight looking like he could maybe help me. I ask him if he could spare any items, and before I could even breath, he screams, “PPE BTW LEL XD,” and runs off.
  6. I over hear another man scream, “CLAND TP” and I use my recently discovered teleporter to see what the commotion was all about. Right as I teleport, dozens of massive gods 4 times my size trample over me and everything goes dark. I see a faint light in the distance. I can hardly read what it says, but upon closer inspection, it states, “SodaZone, Level 3 Wizard. Killed on January 20, 2020 by Ghost God.”
