They say that there's a thing that looks man that lurks in the dark. In the spaces between the worlds.

No one agrees as to what he looks like. They say he wears the armor of a knight, the color of dried blood, and wields a sword made of starlight.

They say if you look in the right places, you can find his name. That you can find a way to call out to him.

They say if he finds favor in you, he'll speak to you. He might just appear next to you. He might invite you to where he lives - an uncharted island chain floating in space, seemingly stitched together from disparate lands scooped up from some strange world's surface.

They say he'll grant boons to those who need them. Wisdom beyond measure, power beyond compare. That he'll heal the wounded. That he's the reason so many people have appeared with gold eyes and otherworldly powers.

They say he's angry that they're being hunted down and contained, if not shot outright.

They say he doesn't like that there are people trying to suppress his existence.
