- Following the winds at High noon...An event in which the Soaring Phoenix crew has left the coast of Esshar in search of horses and coin to pay off some debts under the Captain. They come across the many hardships any crew would when dealing with bandits... Uri for one, leading the crew would do so with an iron fist and strategic mindset, believing in the power of each of his members. Even fighting alongside them until the very end. Though during this event, he tried to achieve a greater flame, to protect them one that would lead to a victory instead of a slight by the skin of their teeth win after the horse had kicked him dead in the chest..Leaving the rest to those left standing while he, wondered if he were worthy, if he truly pushed himself enough as their Captain...It felt good, to create an opening before he fell, so, for Uri, his training paid off even for a little bit.
- 17:46] Uri looks back at his crew... Normally, they would be at the docks for this, but thankfully, he was able to get his ship closer to the beachy coast of Osrona. So, from here on out, it would be them, Uri,, his crew and the sea..
- He looks to Viorell.. "Well! We're sailing off to an island, possibly the island of Lost Tales... Or someplace far, far from Esshar… Speaking of...MIURA!!"
- He turns to his Polished Path Seeker...
- "You and Viorell… Try and figure out the coordinates to where we'll be heading... Last I checked, it was a continent far off to the west... We'll make it there in a day or two, but for now.. We must use this time wisely... Learn from the Essharian maps and bring us to that horizon!"
- He had high hopes in his crew.. Everyone would be doing their roles right now.
- "Esbern, Lemuria, do what you must."
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:51] A nod of affirmation is given towards the orders. He looks over to Miura, then back at Uri. "What are we looking for exactly with this continent? Any notable features, or we're just going in blind?" He'd ask.
- Though he never tried his hand at being a coordinator, it couldn't be too difficult with the help of Miura, as well as the resources they had present. All he needed to do was cross reference information, then come to a steady conclusion.
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:52] Esbern knew his role well. Together with Lemuria, they would ensure the ship sailed not only smoothly, but also safely. It was up to them to make sure they would reach their destination on time.
- "Aye, aye, Captain Brienne!", Esbern responds, using Uri's official title, knowing that on a voyage such this, and on a close-quartered ship, order and authority meant everything.
- As Uri's vice-wing, he would be shouting orders at the crew, ensuring that they perform their duties, and that any mishaps that did occur were quickly solved. He steadies himself, gathering the resolve necessary for what would no doubt be a vigorous trial for them - their maiden voyage.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:56] "Been a few years since I sailed.
- Good for returnin' my skill before getting my boat." Lemuria would flop onto the ground as she would sprawl out on the floor of the boat. Her tendrils on her back would start to sprawl out upon the ship as they reach the hull of the ship, the thin, yet sturdy tentacles reaching down into the water.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:56] Aboard the ship by now with a dozen non-magi running about preparing the ship to set sail on its coarse... The young Captain would have turned to his friends, his crew, the only magi aboard. "Are you to say that you do not know what an island of mountains and smooth terrain looks like?" He jokes with Viorell.
- "There's a compass, and we are to head west... And there, we will find our island, but... I need you two, as Path Seekers to assure we do not run into any troubling waves or massive rocks and ice burgess along the way." The Captain gave his instructions.
- "As for Lemuria, she is to make sure we sail swiftly, by controlling the water around us, this Esbern can help with if he likes, but he has other duties... I'm sure he knows of them... Such as making sure we all have the supply we need... Binoculars, and all...-----OI!!! JOHNATHAN !!!"
- He shouts at the new guy... "You're doing swell, keep it up!----Oh!!"
- "Esbern'o! Give the command to raise anchor!"
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:59] Momentarily, Miura cleared his throat. There had been something odd with the voyage, and although it wasn't too much of a problem, it worried him, albeit a little. It couldn't have been sea-sickness, not by the Warrior clad in armor himself.
- It was his first time leaving Esshar. Slouched against the rim of the ship, his eyes shrouded inside of a hood could just about make out the horizons before them. Sea, and even more sea.
- "Coordination... I can handle it. Probably?" He said, before staring back to the sea.
- "Island ahead."
- Once they arrived to their destination, he would unveil his hood, revealing a face ridiculed with scars. A foot made its way with the sand, boots and armor clanking about.
- Miura sniffled a little, a familiar scent.
- "Where are we headed, Uri...?"
- (Miura)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:02] {NARRATION} Upon arriving at the horse farm, Uri and company discover from the owners tht the horses did not merely escape. But instead, they were stolen by bandits. Following the trail of hoove prints, Uri leads his team up north from the farm to a forest clearing. Where the bandits all seemed to make camp.
- It was late at night, and everyone seemed to be asleep. Surprisingly, no one seemed to be guarding. And the horses themselves were trapped in barely-body-sized cages in the center of the camp.
- With there being no guards on alert, something seemed to be up. How does the party advance upon the sleeping bandits?
- [18:05] Vice Wing Esbern hears the order, and confirms it by passing it along to the crew, hollering out in a loud and authoritative tone; "Raise Anchor!", and then after a few seconds, another command is shouted out to the crew; "And set sail!"
- Esbern barks out "Snap to it!" at the non-magi crew, doing his best to send them into a frenzy of action to get the ship into sailing perfection.
- "I'm heading below decks to check on the supplies. If I come back and any one of you is slacking, you'll be feeling the lash o' the cat!", he declares, completely slipping into the role of first-mate, as his over enthusiasm for order and authority kicks in.
- Below, he checks all of the supplies are secure, and counts the numbers once more - though they already had before they set off, it couldn't hurt to be sure. He goes back above, and continues checking on the crew, shouting at them as necessary.
- "Land ahoy!", the birds-eye up the top of the mast shouts out.
- "Weight anchor!", Esbern shouts out as the close in on the island, "Get the boats ready, we'll row to shore."
- A short row in the smaller boats later, and the magi are upon the beach, with the non-magi crew maintaining the ship itself.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:09] First time sailing, and it was alright for the most part. Erehn walked around while as far as he could away from the edges. Erehn was many things and there were many words to describe him but a swimmer was not one of them and he knew that.
- Most of his time was spent pacing around the foremast in a circle, waiting for the trip along with the feeling of nausea to be over as soon as possible.
- Just zoning out and thinking of times where he didn't have to worry about drowning in a place with no land, only the deep blue and whatever horrible creatures resided within. But at least there was the safety of the cabin, this time he decided to be a designated chef and a medic despite being a poor cook-
- 'Weight anchor!'
- And just like that it was already over before he could even hide inside the cabin. Erehn marched himself over to the smaller boats and hopped into the first one he could see.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:09] Finally... Upon arriving, after a day or two of sailing. The crew of the Soaring Phoenix made their way to the beachy or desert like island, all thanks to their Path Seekers... "Miura! Viorell! You guys aren't half bad! I hope this practice will polish your navigation skills for our later adventures!"
- Upon setting anchor, upon their ship being anchored near the shallows. Uri would have jumped off of the boat after heeding Esbern'o's words... He would then, lead the crew, deep onto the continent or island. OF COURSE THIS WAS ALL DONE AFTER THEY HAD ROWED TO SHORE! And so! This began their journey, of a young Captain leading them upon an Island of Lost Tales...
- "We're finally here... Is this, Los'tal island?... Well, come on now everyone! We've got horses to round up and a saddle I long owe the Princess!" This was their second MAJOR event together aside from the war and fighting the dragon...
- "Let's keep our headcount... Erehn...Esbern'o...Lemuria..Miura...And Viorell… The Non-Magi will stay behind to watch the ship...If anyone follows, they best be warned that this place... It gives me a menacing feel, so be alert..."
- For what he saw, seemed like cruelty...Horses in the stables with these conditions... But from here, he'd lead on to the coming phase of events.
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:17] {NARRATION} As the party properly arrived upon the island where the bandits whom stole the horses were, they would travel by dusk. The stars in the night sky were just starting to twinkle into existence. And the island itself, was semi-tropical.
- Lucky for the party, their boat was anchored far enough away that the bandits wouldn't notice.
- The bandits were all asleep in their camp. The poor horses were in the center of the encampment next to what semed to be the Bandit-chief's hut. Being that it was far more grandoise than the rest of the huts and tents. And yet there seemed to be not a single guard on duty to watch their recent prize.
- It was too quiet. Even for a bandit camp at night, and a fairly deserted island. How is the party to approach the trapped horses centermost in the camp?
- [18:22] With the current scene... Uri would have to think of a plan... He turned to his crew, he turned to Esbern'o for advice on this whilst they approached the camp. "We can't be reckless with this... We have to be smart, this is the purpose for those trials... Someone has to infiltrate the camp. Well, eventually we'll all have to."
- He took a pause to conceal himself in the shadow of a tree, "But not all at once, savy?" The young Captain would have a look around.
- "Erehn...You are the quickest one of all... You'll have to go in first, do a little recon for us, to gauge their numbers...Can you do this?"
- But if anyone else were to step up. The Captain wouldn't have an issue...
- "The time to fight will come but we must not put ourselves at a disadvantage."
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:25] Esbern nods to Captain Brienne. "We aught to circle out in the canopy, take 'em from all sides, Captain.", he suggests, "The shade of the trees is our friend... we can keep an eye out while Erehn scouts forward".
- He wasn't a tactical genius, but anyone would be careful approaching the centre-point of settlement like that.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:26] "Me and Erehn are pretty much the same speed... alsooo.
- ...I have an idea. Erehn goes on my back y'know, my three tendrils turn into three giant fucking snake heads as I strike fear into them." Lemuria's prosthetic hand would start to glow a dark-blue, as water starts to leak from it.
- "...Or that. I'll come down too since I am almost as fast as Erehn." Lemuria would grow a whip from her left hand, made out of entirely water.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:32] A brow raises. "I don't think that'll be good. We're trying to scout them, not fight them. If anything, we should see if we can get a vantage point, and see potential exits. At least gain a knowledge of their layout." There's a pause as the drakanite's eyes coast to the camp.
- Something didn't feel right. It was too quiet. "I'm not sure, but wouldn't you want to make sure your prize is kept safe? Especially after going through whatever trouble to get it? Especially horses, since they can easily get away if given the chance."
- The young man's arms fold over his chest, with a hand resting over his mouth and chin. His brows knit as he begins to think further on their situation.
- "This is really odd, no matter how I look at it. They can't be this reckless, can they?"
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:46] Erehn leisurely walked over the sand to stand right beside Uri before giving him a thumbs up with his prosthetic. With his eyes darting left and right to scan around the outskirts of the camp it through two trees it almost looked like he was nervous.
- "Uri. As much as i would like to bum rush and do stupid things with revolver tricks, i'll stay undetected and scan what i can without risking getting spotted. No need to risk the only advantage we have."
- The gunslinger looked over his shoulder at Lemuria, "That would make an absolutely huge target but then again i could avoid most of it with time magic. The answer is maybe, IF we choose to go loud."
- He took a deep inhale, took off his gloves and clapped once before moving in closer to the edge of the treeline. Realizing it'd make too much noise, he gently laid his satchel along with most of his ammunition on the ground and put on his hood.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:46] Erehn stalkedaround the treeline and looked for any bandits without risking being spotted.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:51] {NARRATION} Upon Erehn moving clsoe enough to the bandit den, the mana seemed to have tripped a trap wire! Immediately, gaseous objects drop from the top of the trees. Creating a gaseous mist that seemed to be poisonous to some degree. The party could break formation and flee. Avoiding the gas. But that woul mean they run the risk of setting off other traps.
- Erehn luckily avoided the mist and setting off any traps himself.
- For those who may not avoid the mist however, they would ntoiced a burning in their lungs. Making it harder to breathe for a short time.
- (Roll flee if you want to avoid the mist. 1750 to avoid the mist. 2250 to avoid hitting sound alarms.)
- [18:53] The group liaised about their plans as to how they would acquire the horses, however most of which had either been to silently sneak in, or attack. In this case, silently sneaking it seemed to be the favourable option, however... there were a few ideas here and there that caught the Adult's ear, gesturing him to sigh.
- He dug his temporary-mythril Sword into the ground, staring at his own prosthetic arm.
- "Regardless of plans you have, I can empathize with Erehn's motive. There's no possible way you can acquire the animals without being noticed at all, 'less you have a Decoy. But, I do have a proposition."
- As he spoke, his mouth slowly made its way to the steel replacing his arm, his teeth wrapping their jaws around a rope attached to the piece of machinery.
- Quickly, he aimed it to the sky.
- "A bait-- Nevermind."
- Gritting his teeth, Miura would sheathe the Sword back onto himself, before following in suit behind Erehn. For such a tall figure adorning armor, it actually didnt' clank as much as it should have.
- (Miura)

- [18:53] avoids the mist by BECOMING the mist.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:53] Esbern does his best to cover his mouth, and avoid the gas and the traps.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:54] With the certain gases going off. Uri made his attempt. "Scatter everyone!" He tries to alert them..But the results...We'll have to see what lady Fate gives him. 2900 roll.
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:54] Lemuria also stands still.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:56] Oh shit! Gas!
- Seeing the gas seep out from the trees, the drakanite began to step back. Unsure of what else may be around, he opts to use his skill in aquamancy to adopt a mist like form.
- (Viorell Beret) Rolled 2000...The alarms would go off!!!
- [19:03] {NARRATION} It seemed the party avoided the mist! Hooray, but as Viorrel stumbled through the foilage. He tripped a wire. Immediately the sounds of wind chimes, metaland wood clacking in the air could be heard!
- The bandits woke up. Screaming profanities, they all began to settle upon their battle-mounts. To this the nearby horses began to screech. Clattering against their cages with their hooves attempting to escape.
- Upon seeing the intruders... The bandits let off an attack!
- (RP and then wait for my countdown before initiating.)
- [19:06] A very, very loud sigh comes from Lemuria. Fucking retard triggered the motion alarm!
- She would ease out of her mist form as she watches and hears the bandits ready up on their mouth, as she unsheaths her sword and holds it with her left hand, the water dripping from her prosthetic hand wrapping around to light the runes on her sword to form a small water layer on the blade.
- "God fuckin' damnit..... why you gotta do this man...."
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:07] Dammit! The bandits heard them! It was not Viorell's fault. Because the Captain had some expectation of the bandits out smarting them if even by a little bit.. For this, Uri would have to break all silence. "It's time for the boogaloo ladies and gents!" The young mad Captain had his eyes set on all those bandits who revealed themselves...
- "Formation!" He stood with his crew, ready for the fight to come... He wouldn't let the people in his crew get hurt. They had each others backs, and so Uri began to pour that courage, that leadership and loyalty to his crew. All of those energies had went into his fist through an attempt to polish his flames even further, to aim for an inferno upon his hands.
- "Crazy buggers got everything in their grasp don't they." With his fist raised, the young Captain had prepared for the battle to come. And while they were here, so much else had gone on in the world... But they, they were forging their own image, someplace afar, here for the crown, for themselves, for they were the pirates of the Soaring Phoenix!
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:07] As Esbern pulls out of the mist, he glares in the direction of the racket Viorell caused, reacting by pulling out his rifle, and summoning a colossal torrent of water around him. Ice permeates the trees around him, snow falling softly almost immediately due to the rapid drop in temperature - he then shouts out, still in first-mate mode:
- "They know we're here! Cut them all down!" He charges in, attacking every bandit and mount he can say, but spotting the caged horses nearby.
- "Don't let them hurt the horses!", he cries out, determined not to let the bandits destroy their prize out of vengeance.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:07] The time for scouting was over, the time for acting was NOW.
- Erehn quickly rolled over to his satchel and slung it over his shoulder after grabbing a handful of rounds. From there he ran over to Uri's side, twirling his revolver as usual while trying his absolute best to draw their attention away from the main group.
- All the bandits could see was a man with a concealed face and a hand devoid of any and all flesh twirling a revolver next to a hood which had only the pitch black of the night under.
- His aura was activated, causing mana to surge around his invisible aura while he stood there silently. It was something Erehn considered business and he did not fool around during business related matters.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:10] {NARRATION} Counting down.
- [19:13] {NARRATION} After the first wave of mounts attacked, it seemed that the party was successful... However the battle seemed to only yield a temporary victory...
- As even more beasts began to crawl out form the huts. Attacking at full force, these seemed to be larger, much stronger and more venomous stinnox. Ready to unleash Helheim upon these Humans for slaughtering their kin!
- [19:14] {NARRATION} 10 second Countdown.
- [19:14] Miura says, "Flank."
- [19:15] Lemuria K. Linnaeus says, "This is fuckin' easy."
- [19:15] Erehn Linnaeus says, "Agreed"
- [19:19] {NARRATION} As the battle waged on, the cages in which the horses were within, was destroyed! Immediately they began to fly away from the combat. Moving farther northward on the island!
- "NEEEEEEIGH!!
- Was heard in mass as they galloped off!
- Most of the bandits upon their mounts were clearly nonmagi. All seemed to be defeated. Some even killed in the battle by not only the adventuring party, but their angry, enslaved mounts.
- ...Oddly enough though... The large hut within the bandit camp was now open. When before it was sealed off.
- [19:22] As Uri would fight along with his crew. The waves of beast had been thrown into battle, whilst his fist continued to burn, and his voice continued to lead. "Push forward! They can't stop all of us!" The young Captain declared for this was now a raid upon bandits it seemed...Each man mountained on a stinnox…
- Tempted, he wanted to mount one himself but, knowing how tamed this stinnox were when they were naturally wild beast. He wouldn't want to risk being stung and so, he continued to burn this patch of land through his fire, and through the help of his crew did they succeed... Everyone and I mean everyone did their part in this hunt.
- He spotted the opened hut, and turned to Esbern'o… "Now seems to be our chance, we should be cautious!" He says while waiting for the crew to regroup... He was ready, and the heat of the primordial continued to burn into his fist... It would be wise, for anyone to stay clear of him, at least for now as the fire continued to spread... His adrenaline took its time to ease on down.
- "Everyone, is okay, right?"
- He glanced at the party with him.
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:24] With icy winds and raging torrents, Esbern does his best to play his part in pacifying the rampaging stinnox with deadly force. He lets out a groan in frustration when he sees the horses run off. It would be a royal pain in the arse to round them up now that they're run off...
- "Captain Brienne, there may be supplies in the hut. May I go and check? Miura, back me up?" he says, first requesting permission, then looking to Miura, who'd always been reliable backup for him before.
- "Might even be some tools they used to round up the horses in the first place - everyone shout split up, loot the tents and huts", he says, hoping his plan sounds acceptable to Uri.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:25] There was no fear residing inside of Miura's thoughts. Instead, it was the responsive need to cleave down his Opponents, leaving nothing but a blood-splattered field before the group.
- Finishing off with a stray Stinnox, Miura would jam a throwing knife into its temple, before throwing it towards the bandit camp, carefully.
- Thereafter, he had time to breathe and finally speak his mind.
- "Yeah. I'll back you up. There's probably something valuable there, anyhow. . ."
- (Miura)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:26] Slash and slash, that's all that Lemuria does.
- Each wave of mounted bandits she would hack and slash her way through, the blood from her enemies infusing into her to make her even stronger, thought she didn't need that.
- A magi going against some mounted bandits really isn't much of a hassle.
- "That was fun." Lemuria was also, absolutely covered in blood. Looked like a movie scene.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:27] His fighting style was never something one could pin, it was agile when needed, it was offensive when needed, and if you tried to hit him you'd have to pray to the gods he'd slow down and even then; It's unlikely he wouldn't just shrug it off the damage with his time magic.
- The first thing he did was rush to the left side to make sure he aggroed most of the enemies before firing off a beam with his normal to give an opening for his teammates while at the same time blindly shooting as many riders as he could before reloading with a single skeletal hand, swiping those who came to close with his claws.
- You couldn't see his face but if you could, you'd notice he was sweating heavily and looking terrified due to the stress of the situation.
- It took him a few minutes of standing silence for him to loosen up and realize it was all over. He looked to Uri for orders, only hearing the words 'split up loot the tents and huts.' /
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:29] Erehn looked up to the top of his hood and saw the words
- "OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE"
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:30] ViDM says, "edit vidm"
- [19:30] With the alarms tripped, battle was to be expected. He silently cursed himself for triggering the alarm, but soon got over it. There was no need to cry over spilled milk.
- He, as well as his crewmates were now ware that the bandits were aware of them. With the alarms blaring, Viorell braced himself for combat as well. He draws his revolver in one arm, and conjures mana into the other.
- "Looks like this is going to get nasty," he voiced.
- Before long, the bandits and their onslaught of mounts and allies arrived. The group fought valiantly, taking foe down one after the other. In the end, they emerged victorious, even for a moment.
- The reprieve they gained was quickly washed away by the realization that the horses were fleeing.
- Viorell turns towards his allies, "What about the horses? Won't they get too far?" He'd ask.
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 19:47] {NARRATION} Miura's eyesight was keen. As the mana maged to find an unfinshed project of sorts. It seemed to have several mythril and Orichalcum components within. Uri and Esbern were also able to retrieve some of these useful metals as well, as it seemed that these bandits were saving up for a bigger project.
- However... Lemuria and Erehn found nothing. The only thing Lemuria found was.. what looked to be Orichalcum. But-- was just Stinnox poop instead. Her hands would likely smell of stinnox waste for days after this.
- However the crew would be able to notice a place where the Arcanium saddle once was. It was taken off somewhere else.
- Perhaps if someone followed the footsteps leading out a secret exit of the large hut, they could find who took the Arcanium saddle. And where they took it.
- [19:52] Where was it? They found some goods, but did not find the saddle. Where was it? He knew the map did not lie to him, but did it truly lead him astray? He saw where it was supposed to be, and yet, there was nothing. "Where is it? There's no way the map could've lied so where it it----" He gasped upon seeing the messed up foot steps, "A trace?..." He wondered...
- He took a knee... They seemed fresh... "Erehn!" He called the one person he knew who could possibly resolve this... "Gather up, I found a clue, same as the lot of you... This might lead us to our true winnings, to the prize we came here for..."
- He looks around the area, only skimming to see if there were any horses left.. If not, he would continue to lead them on, finally deactivating his fiery blaze from around both his body and breaking that focus of trying to store mana within his fist... For now, he would relax, in a way whilst searching, and searching, through their team work...
- "Will we catch up in time?"
- The Captain awaits for the results of Erehn and those natural born trackers.
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:00] A decent salvage to say the least. By chance and expertise, Miura was able to retrieve an unfinished object containing Mythril and Orchihilacum. Decent. Sighing, he would load the object into his cloak.
- Setting pace towards Uri, he too awaited the next course of command.
- (Miura)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:00] While the others searched along the huts, Viorell took the chance to look around what remained of the bandit camp. There were surely to be some clues outside.
- His focus was more so centered on where the horses were kept. After all, their task was to gather horses for future use. He'd snoop around the cages for a moment before being interrupted by Uri's voice. The drakanite turns towards the direction and meets up with the others.
- "What did you find?"
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:00] Lemuria is actually depressed on what she found.
- "Piece of shit. LITERALLY."
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:01] Esbern pockets the ore he finds, satisfied that something besides horses and an arcanium saddle would be coming from the journey.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:02] Erehn scrambled into the tent, pillaging everything by ripping into all of their makeshift beds to find any treasure they may have been hiding. He wondered to himself during all the slashing if perhaps there was something in the makeshift furniture, so he punched holes into any and all furniture with his skeleton hand, destroying anything fragile and of any real value.
- Eventually he noticed Lemuria grabbed Stinnox fecal matter which was quite strange and smelled worse than death, causing him to run out of the tent before kicking the supports and preparing to destroy what he couldn't take.
- 'Erehn!'
- The frenzy was broken for a few seconds to rush over and inspect the tracks. Judging with his natural tracking skills as a felinae that he rarely used, they were either recent or from a thousand years ago but that didn't stop him from following a barely noticeable scent and breaking into a sprint to beat whatever it was that made the tracks until it stopped being a threat.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:05] Esbern looks around the hut for clues of where the bandit could've gone, especially since they'd taken the toted saddle with them.
- Grimaces, he soon decides that he's sure they couldn't have gone out from the front... he begins tapping the walls, until he finds a panel that's oddly hollow. He kicks it in, exposing a secret backdoor, and then blasts the entirety of it down so that Erehn and the other trackers can make haste.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- [20:11] {NARRATION} As the crew followed the footsteps... they'd eventually see massive... gigantic hooveprints. Naturally, they would need tofollow them to find whoever stole the Arcanium Saddle!
- Upon traveling up a large hill....
- "NEIIIIIIIGH!"
- As deep and s baritone as a horse could be. The massive stallion rose up upon it's hind legs. Only to slam down upon them. Causing rocks to fall off the side of the hill. Almost immediately, the crew would then lose their footing. Having to regain it as they climbed up the mountain.
- (Roll flee to dodge the rocks falling on you. You need to roll 2500 or higher to be unscathed. If you roll under this, you recieve a temp nerf for the duration of the boss fight.)
- [20:12] mist forms

- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:12] Erehn attempted to grasp the nearest thing he could before falling down.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:12] Esbern does his best to jump to the side, avoiding any tumbling rocks!
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:12] Trying to avoid the falling rocks. Uri ran through the surrounding area! He couldn't shout during such tension, but...He did what he could and what he had to!
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:19] {NARRATION} Almost the entire party seemed to avoid being hit by the massive horse's unintentional rock-slide. However, it would seem Viorell would be hit by one of the boulders, hitting him in the chest, and fracturing some of his ribs! A wound that would heal in time but...
- "Ay! Ya wenches weren't slain by my men? Guess me and my horses will have to do ya in! With the mythical ARCANIUM SADDLE! All horses obey my whims! It's time to die... Suckers!"
- Immediately the giant horse with it's master atop it began to charge. And near them? Several other war-horses came rushing in. The poor stallions and mares all seemed to be brainwashed. Thanks to the man sitting atop the magical saddle!
- (Viorell's injury makes him unable to partake in the first round. However if a medic wishes to treat him, he will not be injured in the second round. The medic will not be able to partake in the first round either, however.)
- [20:24] Esbern picks himself up, rushing back up the mountain after managing to doddge the falling boulders well. With a magi's constitution, he isn't even tired when he reaches the top, but he is, however, enraged.
- He heeds no word of the bandit scum, except to note his claims of controlling horses.
- He barks out a warning; "Restrain the horses, but don't injure them! They're what we're here for!"
- He summons a surge of water in the hopes of restraining the horses, while throwing razor-sharp shards of ice at Barren von Haursmeister. No quarter would be given to this bandit, not today.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:25] Spotting this... Spotting the very cruelty placed upon the stallions through power.. The young Captain got angered by this, especially once after Viorell got injured upon their first true adventure together. This was a world of mandom, a place that will be theirs for a time, only if they win it. Once the music would begin to play, night will turn to day as they were here, for the horses, for their goals, for the people who were truly free..
- "Hey asshole..." Uri was angered and so, the sparks of his flames would be released from the stored reserves of his fist. From hot air to a collection of embers, and from those embers came a raging fire, one strong, one so potent that it would force his allies to give him space if they did not have the magic to defend themselves against the heat.
- "Do us all a favor and Fall off your horse," the young Captain had his eyes set on the Barren. Pointing a finger at the man as the flames continued to skyrocket in heat... From a point of his fingers, he'd make a fist, to better focus his heat upon the knuckles, his palms of both hands...
- "Erehn, you'll take care of Viorell won't you? I won't have him miss out on this, for this is the day.."
- He took a moments breath.
- "That the island will forever remember the names of the Soaring Phoenix!" Uri came for the horses, to bring them to a home where.. They'd be free and truly taken care of, not enslaved.
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:29] A nice climb up the mountain results to rocks falling on one of her comrades, the one that tripped the wire of course. She wishes she could help them but she must push on. Maybe Erehn will heal them, maybe not.
- Her sword was already unsheathed, so she was ready to fight when she saw the man standing at the other side of the mountain.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:34] Briefly, Miura gave a glance to the horse atop the hill. In towe was the legendary arcanium saddle they had set out for, and accordingly, the youth knew attaining such a treasure wasn't going to be easy.
- After all, it cost him an arm and an eye for a simple two pieces of arcanium. A smirk set off from Miura, his armor clanking.
- The setting had been akin to that of a western face off. The similarities had all been too much to deny, Horses clashing with the group.
- However lucky for them, they possessed magic, and had sufficiently trained their bodies to a level to withstand damage, and give damage.
- Whipping his Sword through the air, the one-eyed Swordsman prepared for battle.
- "I wouldn't expect anything easier." He said, before biting the string attached to his arm. In turn, it dropped his prosthetic hand, a hole meeting the horizon. Out of said hole came a canon, targeting the Man behind it all.
- "Don't let him get away. . ."
- (Miura)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:39] After pulling himself back onto the platform, Erehn noticed something he prepared to shoot, roll, reload a thousand times until the random bandit was dead.
- Viorell was wounded, and that only made Erehn panic more. The satchel was pulled off of his shoulder as he ran over to Viorell, dropping it right beside his head before he took out his field manual to deal with whatever happened due to the rockslide.
- His left hand was holding the book up right beside Viorell's face, as frantic as ever and skimming through most of the precious details.
- It seemed to be something pertaining to the middle of his ribcage, and he figured it'd be best if Viorell knew that.
- The muffled voice of a determined medic yelled out commands to the Viorell almost faster than he could comprehend them. "LAY DOWN! POSSIBLE RIB ISSUE! HOLD STILL WHILE I DO SOMETHING! IT'LL BE PAINLESS!"
- It was not painless, infact it was quite agonizing as Erehn Withered most of Viorell's torso after slashing away that which blocked the affected area shortly before jabbing through his torso and inside to feel around for any affected ribs with his hand that had no feeling because he wasn't thinking too right.
- There were two that he treated in the only way he knew how. The frenzied medic grasped and tugged after forming his hand into something that would allow him to pull. In the span of 600ms he almost broke two more ribs shortly before nearly pulling out the affected rib with ease. His hand was jerked out, and the other was shoved in to put it back into place while still feeling around. When he finally 'fixed' his ribs, his other hand made it's way into the poor man's insides accelerated the healing to about seven months worth of resting.
- With that out of the way, Erehn just sat down for a few seconds before attempting to reorientate himself.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)

- [20:41] {NARRATION} Those particpating in r1, ready up. those not due to injury or medicine, mvoe down the steps.
- [20:52] "Shit!" Yelped the drakanite as a massive rock crashed against his chest. Instantly, he felt his bones shift as the force knocks him back. He tumbles along the ground like a ragdoll. Blood and dirt soon mar his form, giving him the appearance of someone literally dragged against the dirt.
- Slowly, while groaning in pain, he stands up to his feet. An obnoxiously hot sensation pulsates along his chest. Its an unbearable pain, but one he recognizes. He's broken a bone. Suffering such an injury made him recall his youth, when he was out in the world on his own.
- "I-I can fight," he states while stepping forward. There is clear pain in his face, as every step he makes causes his bones to shift. As if the others knew, Erehn was sent to watch over him.
- "It's not that bad," he'd tell the beastkin while being treated. He wanted to resist, but he knew in his current condition he'd be a burden for the others. Despite his verbal protests, Viorell lets Erehn tend to his wounds, even if his methods of healing caused more pain than he'd have expected.
- "Graaaaaaahh!" He shrieks. Erehn's hand moves along within his body, shifting his bones. It felt as if he were experiencing the pain for an eternity, but after Erehn utilized his time magic coupled with his medical skills, the pain began to subside.
- As if everything was erased, he felt better. "Thanks..I'm good enough to join in, right?" He'd ask, now leaning up. At the moment, he looked as if he were a dog ready to go off on a poor rabbit. All he needed was the 'go sign', and he'd be off.
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:53] As the Barren of Horses attacked upon his brainwashed steed, the mountain that they fought in ripped apart and opened up vents of magma! It would appear as though the massive horse's might caused the hill to be exposed for what it truly was. A volcano!
- Magma began to splurt and squrt every which way. As rocks and acidic smog filled the air. Many horses were evne flayed alive by the exploding volcano! And all the bandit could do? Was let of a sickly laughter.
- "KEKEKEKEKE! THIS IS WHAT YOU GET, FOR CHALLENGING BARREN VON HAURSMEISTER AND HIS NOBLE STEED, BIG BUSTER! BURIAL BY LAVA!"
- And then he'd charge again, using the brainwahsed horses to fight along side he, and Big Buster.

- [21:32] ** Barren von Haursmeister has inflicted an injury upon Uri cos Brienne . ("Magma Hooveprint", "A magma-covered horse hoof slapped itself onto the man's chest. Burning it mildly.(Event Injury)", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
- [21:32] A laugh comes from Lemuria as she clears the ash and blood from her face. She needs it to look straight into the bandit leader's eyes.
- "That was a good fight man." Lemuria would slice open a vein in their neck just enough to let it lightly bleed. Her real hand would reach into his mouth as she would slam her fist into their fucking jaw, hearing a loud, gruesome pop come from it.
- The tentacles on her back would slither off of her back as they turn into her water snakes. They would slither and coil up besides him before biting into them.
- The blood that was coming off of him would start to vibrate, as a snake jumps into the wound and causes the injury to rip open violently, all the blood in it would turn into a giant snake head. It would slam into his face as the very bones that held their firm face together would shrivel and crack under the sheer pressure that came from it.
- She would stand up as she would simply kick their skull on the left side one more time before walking off, retrieving her snakes as they form back up onto her back.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:37] Esbern does his best to fight valiantly, throwing ice and blood in tandem, with the occasional surge of water blasted through in an effort to rip through the horse master.
- Nevertheless, as they begin to fall one by one, Esbern finds himself beaten down, a kick in the chest from the magma-stallion that the horse-master himself resides - he manages to brace himself, but it isn't enough to stop the hoof of the horse as it hits his chest.
- Reeling with pain, and gasping for air, he tumbles onto the ground, a hoof-shaped brand clear upon his chest.
- (Esbern Antioch)

- [21:39] Uri cos Brienne whispers: (all arcan if possible)
- [21:41] {Item} You picked up Mythril x5.
- [21:44] Yet again, just before Erehn could run up and beat the final threat to death with his bare hands, something stopped him.
- Though this time it was half as painful and grave. During one of his usual salvos with the Fire, Reload, Roll, Do it again the gunslinging medic was kicked over and had his ribs stomped on by the horse. He rolled over, attempting to breathe while feeling around with the hand that could not, he found nothing but the charred remains of a suit and an imprint after he got up and looked at himself.
- Yet as usual, he managed to not get die a horrible death at the cost of his suit. It was scorched down to his flesh while sand covered the entire thing, and what wasn't sandy was bloody. Xyth was sure as hell going to be furious about him withdrawing funds from the settlement just to buy more suits.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:44] The battle was one that was DANGEROUS in many ways..Facing off against the Barren until the very end.. He stood there for some moments and was forced to flee for others, having to watch out for the heavy magma dropped by BIG BUSTER!!! He watched as his flames deals a good amount of damage, and so did everyone else who fought.
- "Hng!" Uri grunts for each burning magma piece that brought his health down. His flames continued to pour into his fist from every single punch. He rushed in from every angle trying to time his attacks until....
- Until he himself would be defeated by the burning effects from afar.. And then finally, kicked in the chest by the massive horses hooves! "G-GAAAH!!!" The Captain shouts, being tossed flying and crash landing onto the sand, but...
- At the very least, before his fall...Uri created an opening for Lemuria who would be the victor of this fight, watching as she dealt the killing blow to the barren. While he, would be out of commissioned for the time... His aura of fire was burned by the intense heat of the magma..
- But his cousin, who dealt with riptide, was able to survive long enough to outlast the Barren, and take him down for the team, for the crew of the Soaring Phoenix... And this, was another reason for the young Captain to build his strength... If he wanted to protect his crew, he'd need a heat stronger than what he had now... He needed to perfect the inferno from deep, deep within. For he could not be one to create openings all the time, he needed to be the leading force of destruction for their battles..As Captain of the noble crew of the Grand Stallion & Soaring Phoenix.
- "Look at her, good stuff, sis," he said to Lemuria with loving words as family and crew mates.
- (Uri cos Brienne )
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 21:49] {NARRATION} As the battle waged on, so did the volcanoes erupt! The crew of young magi would begin to feel the ground beneath them shake and tremble! Even as the Horse Baron was slain, the island itself seemed intent on killing them and the horses.
- Some of the horses immediately began to flee toward the ocean, toward the direction of the ship. If the magi wanted to survive the volcanic eruption... the needed to get on their ship, pull the horses they saved onto it, and head back to the mainland....
- ...
- And once they returned, the Horse Breeders would gladly buy back their horses. Should they be givne back their horses, they'd pay out 200 coin per horse!
- [21:53] Miura was content with the voyage, as it posed to be not only advantageous to him, but the crew as a whole. Without much to say, the youth took his leave back into the Ship to return to Esshar.
- ". . ."
- (Miura)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:53] Lemuria would sheath her sword as she rounds up the few remaining horses that are some-what close to the path and drags them back quickly.
- She was still soaked in blood and dirt from the battle, giving her that even more edgy and eerie look.
- (Lemuria K. Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:55] Esbern feels the rumbling under his feet, and the roar of the volcanos; "Get them back to the boat!", he roars out, tugging along the two horses he saved to one of the smaller boats, keeping them restrained in bonds of water-magic.
- Surging the boats along with his own water magic, he shouts to the others, "Come on! We'll die if we stick around!" Water skips under the boat, his magic almost throwing them forwards, but it's not long at all because they make it to Uri's ship.
- He hollers out of the non-magi crew; "Get those horses below decks! Secure 'em - do not let them trampled each other down in here." Pulling himself up onto the ship as he gives the orders.
- "Raise anchor! Set sail! Away from the island, its erupting!", he barks out, not waiting for Uri to give the order as he knew time was of the essence.
- Watching their prize be directed to the lower decks, a small smile of victory is shown - he knew he'd be keeping at least one of his horses for himself, and selling the other one off.
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:55] Nothing was said as Erehn rolled over yet again, pushed himself up and made sure Lemuria was hauling ass along with him before he finally broke into a sprint towards the ship.
- Many things would hurt later, mainly because he was so high off the adrenaline that he could fight another three horseriders before collapsing due to exhaustion.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:56] The battle comes to a close, with the Soaring Phoenix gang snatching victory from the clutches of Barren von Haursmeister. The battle was taxing, and felt as if it all took place in the span of hours. In reality, the battle lasted only for a few minutes. The tension and rapid movements from all of the combatants made it feel as if time progressed slower than it had actually gone.
- Viorell rests against the ground, breathing heavily. The battle was not only a toll on his mind, but his body as well. The exhaustion was finally settingly in, his body feeling like led. "T-that was a hard one," he called out before taking notice of the current state of the horses.
- With what little energy he had left, he forced his body to move. Like a machine he ran towards the horses that were falling towards the magma. In his half-shifted state, he began to flap his wings as hard as he can. Mana surged throughout his body, giving him what little extra energy he could squeeze out.
- Like a bullet, he zooms towards the horses, saving as many as he could. In the end, he managed to save six, while the other did their part. Once more the wave of exhaustion hits him as he slouches down into the dirt. Everything was good for now.
- "Alright, I'm ready."
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:57] Oh No! There was an eruption going on! The island just might enter a crisis just because of their battle! Uri turned around after feeling the massive rumbling... "Oh no...We gotta get outta here while we still can!" Shouted the Captain, looking back at all of the horses they've gathered!
- Upon seeing the mad man ready to burn and destroy everything on the island... Uri would hop onto a horse, instructing the others to do the same! "Hop on! Mounth a steed and let's skedaddle out of here!" Uri would have used his prior training with horse taming to make a familiar whistle to the horses HE managed to save while yelling. "YAH!"
- And so, he would go off...If these horses were anything like the magi or as fast, it would be a blessing in disguise. That all depends on the event at hand. But here, Uri made sure everyone came along, no man left behind as he would then fire a beam of COSMIC LIGHT into the sky.!
- "Johnathan!"He alerts the non-magi, yelling as loud as he could for the people of his ship to prepare for take off! They needed to set sail IMMEDIATELY or else this could turn bad, very bad and in a matter of seconds... He had Esbern'o give the calls while he'd round up all of the horses with aid if anyone gave it...
- "Listen to the Vice Wing and set course for Esshar---Osrona already! Make haste because she's gonna blow!" Unaware of any dangers behind, the horses got onto the ship through any reasonable means, whilst the Captain would stand on the desk, using his plain view to see what would come of the island as they sailed away...With their treasures in hand and, the horses in tow. "Looks like we won... And with the treasure no less... We must assure that the journey home will be just as safe... Path Seekers, get to your stations," and so... Ends the Journey of a crew following the winds to the wild wild west, departing at high noon.

- [22:05] It was a day after their victory with the island of Lost Tale.... Uri had woken up, placing on his Captains hat upon the arrival of their ship docking at the marina of Osrona…
- "Finally...We've returned home.." Said the young Captain, and with them, valuable pieces and horses for the kingdom to take... He smiled upon his crew, feeling stronger albeit injured from the battle...
- "It's bit a scratch right? We'll see... Many, upon many more adventures in the future will we not?" Uri had his eyes focused on every member of the crew...From magi to Non Magi and so on...
- "I'm proud, to call you all my family.."
- He looks at the Soaring Phoenix... "Luckily, our ship didn't get damaged, just a few burns here and there ahahaha!"
- He laughed, for this journey was one of great benefit to Osrona..
- "Now, shall we return home?" He looks at the silver horse... "Perhaps I should call you... Jean..." He smiled, rubbing his favorite one of the bunch on its head... His flames within calmed from their victory, enriched through his heart of fellowship even.
