  7. "criti": "A critique (rant) composed by the developer. Angry Birds were good. Back when they were still on PC. The good-ol day of activating a game with activation code rather than Steam. Rovio stopped supporting and updating their PC lineup long ago – focusing on their mobile cash-grabbing adware. They slash popular titles like Seasons and Space and stopped updating or even fixing their classic title such as Original and Bad Piggies (the pictures used in this app is from Bad Piggies, a fun sandbox 2D physics building game, that is, until they introduced in-game currency, powerups, and lootcrates (seriously. They call it loot crates. What else can it be?)). It was good memory when the only three game I had on my PC back in 2010 are Mummy Maze, Plants Vs. Zombies, and angry birds. All those games are either ruined by their sequel or gone off the web entirely. At least Rovio won't be able to wreck my memory. Don't get me wrong - I still love their games - its just sad to see companies big and small create and then ruin all the good stuff life had.",

I was originally doing this in a lesson page – until the locked API and view-obstructing prompt pushed me here. @I was only supposed to make a 4-screen app. And now I used this game for my AP CSP Create task. This app really should stop at game 2. Nothing more than that. But I did commit – after about two weeks of solid work, it is here.",

"extra2": "I created the User ID system ground up – I didn't know getUserId() was a thing back then, and I want players to save their progress – but I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of privacy and sensitive data management – which is why there's no password – ppl just like using the same password over and over again, and I tell ya, I aint lookin for trouble. @ But as I slowly learned how applab worked, I'm glad that I created a separate system – this enables EVERY player – whether logged in to code.org or not – to save their settings and progress.",

To prevent people from randomly guessing out User ID, I need to find a way to make User ID more secure. So I made the strength and length requirement – The effects, however, is up to YOU. Treat your User ID at your password - make it strong. Fill in recovery info, and never worry about forgetting User ID.",

It also enables me to recruit more beta testers – and reach more audiences. @Fun Fact: Mandarin Chinese is the most spoken language in the world, with more than 1.1 billion speakers. English is more than 2 million behind. @For me, it's sad to see that most content on the internet are not catered to such a big audience base. Things are changing, however, one app at a time.",

Recovery system aims to eliminate this scenario, as you can use security questions to recover User ID. @I DON'T want to deal with storing sensitive info – which is why if nerfed it HARD. Player can choose to opt-in – rather than being forced to (it is way easier force players code-wise). Player can't enter the full answer of questions – only a few letters are allowed – so I don't know much while you can still feel safe when forgetting User ID. @ If you're paranoid, calm down: If your data is safe with code.org, it will be safe with me. Plus, I don't even know who you are!",

But as a developer I cannot become paranoid and blindly reject suggestions from my testers, so I made it for all logged-in players. Oh did I mention there is a ban mechanism in place?",

"extra8": "I borrowed part of the code from a buggy Pong project from another dude – shown below – for my 3rd game, with added mobile compatibility, paddle speed enhancement and heck of a lot more. @Fun fact: less than 40% of the program's code are actual game code. Most of the codes are peripherals – achievements, languages, sound, stat, sync, and suggestion function. @I didn't want to create Comment & Suggestion, as I have a natural dislike in online anonymous chat. At least I don't wanna be a part of it. This game's suggestion panal is nearly anonymous. Rest assured, I made a kill switch. Please keep it civil there.",
  18. "extra9": "You love reading, don't ya? I bet you like/would like programming too! Applab is a… mehhh JS environment. It's not updated, a lot of stuff from ES6 are either missing or broken. Eclipse is wayyy better. In fact JS itself is broken. I would much prefer Unity's C#. I made this game with variability in mind so I have to account for everything – device browser popups, internet connections (if you don't have it no asset will load and sync will be unsuccessful) … It was a fun trip, anyways.@Thank you for playing my game!
