C SUPPORT:
Kamui:Hmm? What’s with this map and all these little pieces on the table?
Yukimura: I apologise greatly Kamui-sama for making such a mess in the tent…
K:Oh so this is yours Yukimura.
Y: Yes, I was planning on studying some tactics.
K: We’re always saved by your strategies Yukimura. I’m going to do my best as well.
Y:…….My strategies are not as resourceful as the ones handed down from my father and Sumeragi-sama.
K: Meaning they both taught you?
Y:Yes, at first I was taught by my father who was a tactician. Then after… whilst working for Sumeragi-sama he heightened his strategizing abilities further and I learnt through him.
K: Is your father still alive?
Y: No, he died from illness when I was still young, however the tactical and strategical literature that he left behind, even now I still cherish and read. After that Sumeragi-sama also taught me varying things. As a child that lost his father at a young age, Sumeragi-sama was more than just another father to me.
K: I see, so your father… King Sumeragi both died trying to protect me. I’m so sorry… not only my father but even your father….
Y: Kamui-sama let us speak no further. It is a story of the past, there is no point of us bringing up such things.
K:I guess…
Y:Well then, I shall clean up straight away.
K:I’ll help as well.
Y: Thank you. Your help is much appreciated.



B SUPPORT:
Kamui: Yukimura, If we happen to encounter this sort of formation what sort of strategy could we use to combat it? Taking into consideration the safety of our comrades, rushing into it would be a bit of a reckless plan. But then taking into consideration the depletion of resources and weapons, should we take this risk in order to proceed?

Yukimura: ……

K:It’s a pretty difficult situation isn’t it?

Y: …..

K:Yukimura?

Y:Ah, please excuse me Kamui-sama. Lets see, indeed between victory and the lives of soldiers…if forced upon to make a decision, it is a difficult one. However I have remembered something.

K:Eh..?

Y:I just remembered  that a long time ago… there was a time Sumeragi-sama was angered greatly.

K: What? Sumeragi was?

Y:Yes… around that time strategies were always considered and hypothesised from all aspects even being debated. However, in order to annihilate the enemy troops, traps and machinery were used relentlessly and  inhumane strategies were thought of. It certainly did guarantee victory. A plan that could destroy the enemy in one fell swoop and allow us to gain the upper hand but Sumeragi-sama rejected these plans that I had devised.

K: What did father say?

Y:Killing the enemy does not bring about good. That this is not what war is about… because we are taking the lives of others, we must be considerate of one another.

K: To be considerate…. Of the enemy…

Y:Yes. At the time without understanding, I opposed. But now I understand its importance.  Although we were discussing whether we should sacrifice the lives of our allies it is the same with our enemies. Killing them may not necessarily be a good thing. By completely destroying the enemy does not necessarily mean victory.

K: I see… I understand.

Y: Whilst accessing the situation not only calculations should be employed, but also your emotions in forming a strategy. That ,is what I think it means to be a tactician.

K:Yes. I will engrave your words, as well as my father’s words into my heart.

Y: Yes. I’m sure Sumeragi-sama will be overjoyed if you take in these words.



A SUPPORT:
Kamui: Yukimura, do you have a minute?

Yukimura: If it isn’t Kamui-sama, how can I help you?

K: In regards to the talk we had last time about strategies, I think that I should tell you this. It was I that drove your father… and King Sumeragi to their deaths… I am sorry.

Y:Kamui-sama, we have been through this before haven’t we?

K: Even so… you looked up to my father so much. How much your father meant to you, from listening to your stories… was made clear to me. Because your expression while talking, was that of great kindness…

Y: The truth is… when I learnt that Sumeragi-sama had died in order to protect you I… honestly resented you.

K: Yukimura…

Y: That was when I was young… but as I grew older those feeling turned into respect towards Sumeragi-sama.  That he had fulfilled his duty of protecting his son… as a man and as a father. A fitting end for the man I respected!

K: Yukimura, it might not be my place to say this…. But I’m sure my father in heaven would be overjoyed to hear that.

Y: I am grateful Kamui-sama… hearing you say that puts my heart at ease.

K:  …he is a father to us both. From now on, as a son, I will live honorably like father did… and to become a father.

Y: Hahaha I see. A respectable father image… certainly a fine example.

K: Alright, by supporting one another I’m sure we can do it. Becoming respectable father images that is.

Y: Yes, you’re right. I think so too.
