Beneath the willow tree,
sheltered by the river side,
can you hear a whisper of the river's sigh?
Though the leafs of willow, comply,
under shade of a black night sky, we collide.
rustling through the leafs of the dying willow tree.

sheltering me,
by the river side.

Can you hear,
that whisper's dear,
of the river's sigh?

Though the leafs of willow comply.
under shade of a black night sky,
we collide.

Rustling through the mid night dew,
resting in the soft morning hue,
falling in love along the river side.
