- Will sighed with relief as Greg appeared, flying with Kynthia in his arms. It was good to see she managed to escape and find him. The hydromancer felt more relieved when Jess appeared as well. However, he got a bit confused with what Greg said. "What? But, that's not possible." Looking in the direction his leg pointed, Will saw a shadow but couldn't see the person's appearance very well. The hydromancer shook his head and followed the others. There were more immediate concerns at the moment.
- Will managed to reach the area where the evil, alternate catgirl had been waiting and saw the woman he had seen back in Radiant Garden on the floor. Before he could say anything after Jess had spoken, Cetea said her piece and went on the attack. The hydromancer simply raised a hand and launched water bubbles at the evil Jess. It wouldn't do much damage to the evil catgirl but would serve as a distraction.
- Styx, however was glad his other self hadn't noticed him yet. He knew there was nothing he could do to shut Greg, Kynthia and this universe's Jess up but he could stall him being found out by his other self as much as he can. Styx figured they would try to keep an eye on him, which wouldn't be easy to do if they were fighting the s!#% and trying to rescue Azumi. Still, he had to be more careful this time. He couldn't afford another slip up like back in Olympus Colosseum. So when they engaged the Jessica from his universe, Styx kept himself hidden. Not from the others since they already knew about him but from the b!#$@ and his other self.
- Kynthia frowned as Greg mentioned the other Will. She hadn't forgotten about that jerk, but didn't think that he would be stupid enough to follow them. Still...she knew that it was possible. She nodded to Will and the blue alien woman and said, "Hey, name's Kynthia, don't know if I told you that or not before."
- The demigoddess then looked over as Jessica and Will prepared to fight. Kynthia growled and took out her scythe. She considered staying back and maybe talking, but Will's predetermined attack convinced her to attack. So, she swiped her scythe and a silver wave charged it's way towards the evil cat girl.
- -/-/-/-
- Crick.
- The slightest snap, audible within the confines of a broken soldier's mind. The last refuge of sanity, all of her emotion, her hate, both for herself and for this woman before her who would attack Kynthia, break her only deal, the only thing that kept her in check all of this time.
- Her reaction was sudden, but subtle. She stopped crying entirely. Teeth bared as the other Jessica came. A hand reached down, deep, deep into her only known etherspace pouch, not caring about how public things were.
- Greg landed, letting go of Kynthia. Saw Azumi sliding to the side, out of the way of the biotic Warp. Saw the bursts of bubbles as Will distracted her, and saw the other Will's total lack of input. Then Kynthia's Moon Wave, which worried him. He wanted to make sure she was okay, and that meant keeping a distance. Nothing he could do but try his best, though. First he shouted at that second Will. "Do something! Stop trying to hide, you complete idiot! If you want any remorse, you help us this instant!" Then to Will, wanting this out of the way right now so they could get a full force on her. "You shoot water out of your hands, have a girlfriend who is half cat, move from world to world, and are facing down a villainous version of that same girlfriend right now! Stop trying to talk about what's possible or impossible and listen to the people who saw the idiot and dragged him along!"
- Only then did he glare at the other Jessica, aiming one hands at her, the halo appearing above his head. His reason for being so caustic was laid plain. "You will die. Nobody hurts Azumi, and nobody hurts Kynthia. Nobody!"
- ...it was then that he saw what Azumi was wearing. He did admit it was extremely embarrassing, and did suppose some other men would be attracted to such an outfit, but his eyes were on what she was doing. Was most of her arm twisted a little and down... what. Okay, it was pulling out again... And he saw it. There was a Kig-yar point defense gauntlet on her right forearm, the Jiralhanae combat knife, a human machete in size and brutal in edge, carefully pulled out and given to the left hand, the dark blue plasma shield forming from the gauntlet on her right arm, which slid up her arm to near the elbow, the compartment re-zipped after the entire maneuver. The shield would not fall to the Trench Blade (as has been dubbed the rapier), nor to Trench Magic. Only to light-based magic or plasma, anything else either doing nothing, or, in the case of the complete antithesis to light and plasma both, even possibly strengthening it slightly.
- She was a valkyrie, albeit one with a severe lack of proper dress code and not bothering to change even the headband. She had chosen the slain, and said slain no longer stood even the slightest chance. Due to her temporary insanity due to her brain being starved of oxygen and her tortures over so long, she didn't even wait any longer, slashing with her blade at the backs of the dark "Jessica"'s legs, trying to severely disable her by severing the muscles of her legs to make it easier for her to fall before slashing up at her sword arm, trying to disarm her. She hoped that that light magic on the other "Jessica" would disable the magic on this one. She just wanted to kill her now, having completely forgotten her training with Batman to avoid murder, her tortures preventing any remembrance at present. Due to having been behind her the entire time, it was likely she would be successful, ducked to avoid the others' blows.
- Greg took a breath, realizing he was staring, and raised a hand as he drew both of his blades, Tendou aimed at their foe. "Reckoning!" An arrow of purest light exploded at her, aiming to deal significant damage. He was nog going to fall. Not again. Especially not when, in this Halo form for his magic, he did have a light basis, meaning he would be able to, in some degree, withstand her tactics.
- Really with all the various attacks aimed at her, M. Jess had no choice to run. Of course with all the attacks she was hit by a few. The alien lady's weird powers hit her hard and the light arrows hit her hard. She was just barely to avoid Azumi's attack as she turned and ran, turning into a large blond furred cat as she did so to make herself smaller.
- She had expected a few opponents but with all these guys here, there was no way she could handle them alone. Epsecially since it seems like Azumi had finally betrayed her. Things were not looking good for the mirror cat girl. She had to once again run and regroup.
- "No way she is getting away from me." Jess hissed as she too turned into her cat form. It had been a long time since she had done it since her normal form was stronger but the cat form was faster. And right now she would need that speed as she chased after her mirror self.
