  1. smiled at his fellow warrior. He had never actually asked her about her ultimate fate of whether or not she would end up joining dawn. He regarded her words of advice as she shifted back into a neutral stance, to ready himself to once more practice the dancing art he'd trained himself in. His body was well trained to do so already but he would move at Teresa's pace fr their combined training.
  2.
  3. "I will be careful, I might pick up more standard dance moves at a later date, but I play the Taiko drums as well. I am trying my best to be culturally diverse. I figured learning how they dance would fare me a bit better than picking up something like how they gamble. However, I am more curious. Will I be seeing you in Dawn?"
  4.
  5. He admitted and asked before he would begin his own routine in the dancing arts as they conversed. He wasn't an expert in the craft, fair from it to be exact but he'd do what he could when he could. He had chosen break dancing mostly because it was something that meshed well with the natural flair for gymnastics he had developed as a child. So he was eager to keep up his training.
  6.
  7. His body started from the crab-like positioning that Teresa had displayed. It was after that that he shifted his right leg around and in front of his left. The positioning is better than she had displayed, if only due to having gotten the basics down quite a while ago. He nodded to himself and shifted his attention towards her for a moment. A pause that would show her he retained his attention upon her.
  8.
  9. The next step came at a more rapid pace bringing his own left leg to shift behind him while his left arm used his defined muscle mass to push himself up. This allowed for his right light to shift through under his body, mimicking how Teresa had done so. His movements are more precise than hers, as he's not trying to be slow to recount the basics.
  10.
  11. Having accomplished the first three basic steps he continued forward. His body shifting to once more to bring his body back skyward, with his head pointing towards the floor. He smiled at how the feeling of blood flowing through his body made him feel more awake and agile. He really hated how so many people defaulted to being idle these last few years. It felt like no one was getting anything done.
  12.
  13. The next phase came smoothly, as he began to lose himself to the dancing motions and his own internal thoughts of laziness and complacency. He was frustrated with the world. His left leg shifted to flow underneath his body as his right arm curled to the front. His left arm is used as a brace for the sake of preventing any falls. He was moving and shifting like a rookie all right.
  14.
  15. His posture shifted suddenly, almost sending him hurtling to the ground as he continued to self-marinate over recent events. He admonished himself for losing focus on the task at hand. He didn't have to care about understanding the world yet. He was going to go to dawn for that reason. His body shifted once more, bringing his right leg forward and his left to curl in front of the other. This would finish out his basic movements alongside Teresa.
  16.
  17. Brennen Astraea restarts his own dancing by also going through the motions of the six-step they had both been utilizing for their practice. This time he didn't pause or hold himself back, easily flowing through each motion and enjoying the feeling that came with it. He also ended with the baby freeze, only a little more refined due to his previous experience in the art of the breakdance.
  18.
  19. His right knee gets placed on top of his right elbow, as he begins to lean forward, it is more obvious than Teresa's was at first. Weight is clearly placed into his right arm, while his left arm is being used as a balancing rod. His body shifted and he righted himself quickly. He was clearly emulating the other dancer in this regard.
  20.
  21. As she had with her own leg had. he slipped his left leg back, spreading out his weight and better balancing himself. His left leg is then extended back behind him. He is brought off the ground to a small degree and held in a still position on both of his hands, off the ground, frozen in place. He looked confident while holding the freeze and showing his ability to mimic the other dancer.
  22.
  23. He would now put everything together, far more fluidly than he had before. He allowed his body to shift into autopilot as he worked through each of the six steps once more. His body enjoying the feeling of the workout and his muscles, unique as they were to Astraea, eagerly assisted him in his endeavors.
  24.
  25. "This is admittedly more fun than I had expected it to be"
  26.
  27. Brennen Astraea allowed his body a brief moment of respite as he watched Teresa carefully. He was aware of how her body moved and how she shifted. His eyes lingering for a moment upon her form before such thoughts are cast aside. He wasn't even sure where they had come from.
  28.
  29. He would shift his body into the first step again and then he would shift his body through the motions, intentionally being sloppier than he had been throughout his training session with the other sword wielder. He hit around the third step of the basic movements and then toppled, onto his back.
  30.
  31. From there he repositioned himself as if he were about to do a situp, on any other day he might have done just that. However, from this position, he would ready himself to maneuver into the next couple of motions that would make up the Kip up maneuver. He wasted no time in committing his own gymnastic talents to work.
  32.
  33. His hands at his head, and his feet flat on the ground he raises himself off the ground, his legs at the ninety-degree angle and knees and lower legs straight. Then he would roll backward slightly, as though he were getting ready to roll backward and jump back into the air. He surged forward, like a spring being released, to land back upon the ground, back upright. -15
  34.
  35. "Ta-Dah!"
