  1. Charles Joseph Schamenek III, 71, of Houston, Texas died June 30, 2011. Born in Fountain Hill, PA on April 1, 1940, he was the son of Anna M. Henning. He was also the son of the late Charles Joseph Schamenek Jr. Along with his mother, Anne Henning he is survived by Sister, Peggy Adams; Son, Alex Schamenek; Daughter, Vanessa Collete Harvey and her husband, Eric Harvey. He was also Grandpop to two grandchildren, Benjamin and Ethan Harvey.

  3. Charles got his degree in Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Leigh University with a minor in engineering in 1967. In ...(year)... he received his Masters in ...(degree)... from the University of Houston. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a radio repairman from 1961 - 1964. Charles worked as a  chemist at Monsanto Company in Alvin, Texas. He was also employed as a systems analyst of the former Biles and Associates for ....(years).. until retiring in ...(year).... Charles was a wonderfully talented Pianist and enjoyed spending time with his Grandsons. He also enjoyed France and the French Language. (Anything else???) He will be missed by friends and family.

  5. Gravesite Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Houston National Cemetary 10567 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038,  with the Rev. Dr. Curtis I Crenshaw, Th.D. officiating.
