Pastebin Monday: Feb 20, 2017

Late again I know. This time I blame having a holiday weekend... yeah let's go with that.

Last week: Last week I only streamed on Monday and Saturday. Monday we learned some NSMB2 Warpless. Saturday we did some Warpless attempts followed by Red Glitchless. The Red Glitchless run was pretty mediocre (borderline bad) and it died to Silph Rival, but it was still pretty fun to play a bit more than just pre-Misty. I'll definitely be doing more of this in the near future.

Warpless really stole the show, however. I'm having so much fun with this that I'll probably be doing almost exclusively this for a couple weeks. I ended the week with an offstream PB of 53:22, which has been improved...

This week: This week, I streamed Monday, and I am going to stream Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. All of the days (at least for the time being) are going to be New Super Mario Bros. 2 Warpless attempts. Yesterday we were able to get a new PB of 50:58, which is just amazing for my third day of doing full runs. The run was deathless, so my next goal is sub 50 and then we'll see where to take it from there (WR is 47:56). I feel like I'm improving really fast, and while my SoB is 49:11, there are a few levels that I have yet to have a "perfect" split in a run so I'm thinking 48:30ish is doable with my current skill set. But, we need sub 50 first. One step at a time...

Outside of the stream, I haven't done a whole lot. Last week was a bit rough on the IRL front with work and other stress. I didn't get to do any work on the stream (bot or anything), so that's the plan for this week. As always any feedback is appreciated. Sometime this week, I want to create another pastebin with the plans I have for edda_bot to get some specific feedback and see what people like/don't like. Stay tuned for that.
