  1. Alrighty, here I have Spectralite, being able to play this on the Switch, courtesy of Dolores Entertainment. So this is a wonderful first-person precision platformer that provides a lot of unique elements to the game, such as wall jumping, suspended, temporary sub-animation to, uh... to get to the specific platformer, or to get to the level here. It's definitely a lot of... there's a lot to the game. Um, so... You start on this desolate, um... very white... white-on-black, um, atmosphere that teaches you the mechanics of the game. I can't go that way. Of course I can't. But then, once you go ahead and get this portal here, you jump through it, you get to the next area, which is Sunstone. And it adds a lot of color to the game here, where before it was just white and black or gray and black. Here there's a lot more color. Then you're in more of a cityscape environment. You have the ZR buttons to jump. The next button is your only button outside of the L button which is the reset button. It resets you to your last checkpoint if you do need to go ahead and do that. The game slowly, in each area, slowly introduces you to the mechanics that you previously were using. For instance, up here. It'll give you the wall jump and the suspended orb jumps. I love the graphics. I love how immersive the environment is. It's a great game. So you gotta jump across the buildings here first. Okay, and then you gotta jump up here. Oh, I need a little bit more speed. The music is really good too. The music adds to that for quite a bit. The higher you aim at the wall, the higher you jump off the wall, the higher you jump off the wall will determine how high of a jump you get and whether or not you can make the jump that you need to make. There's no run option, which I thought was kind of interesting. You gain speed not by running, but by continuously moving without running into any obstacles. There we go, got it. Okay, now this is going to implement the wall jump again. More consistently. This is a regrettable try, it's the first time I came through here. Okay, let's try this again. Oh, oh, dang it. Missed. With it being as much of a precision platformer as it is, I would recommend using either the Joy-Cons or an actual Switch Pro controller. The controller I'm using is my SNES Knockoff controller, which doesn't do a whole great That Gravit-Jaw boy comes with the Log-Sticks. It just doesn't feel as smooth. And of course, I dropped all the way, all the way down. Those blue sparkles, that's the checkpoint. And when you get to the later areas or later levels, the checkpoints are going to become a bit sparse, if you will. There's going to be a lot more time, or a lot more longer areas between checkpoints. I guess I could have used the, uh, I could have used this checkpoint here rather than having to go all the way back up. There we go, got there. Okay, now, jump up here. And... There, awww. But see, you can start from this checkpoint here so you don't have to start all the way back from the bottom. So I do like that. I do like the fact that you have a reset button to reset you to the previous checkpoint so you don't have to go through all those sections all over again because again, the sections get pretty long. And that would not make for a great experience if you have to keep restarting the entire level over again. Ugh. There we go, got it. Okay, so we're at a checkpoint here. Again, the higher you jump towards the wall and off the wall, the higher a jump you're going to get. But if you don't get enough speed, you're not going to be able to make that wall jump. Clearly. And a lot of this is going to be trial and error. There we go. And this is going to introduce the speed rings here. So you have a mini speed boost here as you jump through these rings. As long as you keep moving, the faster you can go. But again, with this controller, it's not ideal. There we go, next section here. Again using that checkpoint resets button is definitely handy. Oh I overshot that. I didn't aim that right. There we go. See what I mean by the checkpoints getting longer and longer? And if you don't, if you take too long in the suspended bubble, the bubble will just drop you. That's just what happened there. Come on, let's go. Nope, of course not. Okay, and... Oh, and we got it, alright. I'm going to try one more time and I'll call it good. If I can actually make it over that platform. Come on, oh, whoa, ok, cool. I don't think I'm going to be able to do the jump, no way. There we go, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, almost. Almost made that. This game kind of reminds me of, um... I have to do the same thing over and over again. This game kind of reminds me of Straylight, another game I did recently. Although, this one's not in VR, obviously. Although, that'd be pretty cool as a VR experience. Although, there may be a lot of motion sickness involved. But, I mean, overall this is a great little precision platformer. It's got a lot of unique elements to it. Great environments, great music. And overall, just a great little package. And that will do it here. I want to thank Deloitte Entertainment for the opportunity. I want to thank you for watching, thank you for subscribing, and as always until next time, take care and happy gaming.
