despite her parents both being fully korean, lucy was born and raised in the uk. she lived a happy life with her parents and when she was 8, her little sister, jihwa, or juliette, was born. lucy loved to play with her little sister and take care of her. she was always very caring towards her and showed her lots of love. the family of four lived very happily.
however, when she was 12, her father announced that they would be moving to korea without even asking everyone else's opinions about it. and so, they moved there and lucy was very unhappy about it. it seemed that her mother was too.
a year after they moved, her mother and father started to argue about small things often. lucy didn't think much of it as all married couples argue. however, the fights started to get more constant and bigger. they would fight through the night and keep her sister awake. she cried through the night and since her parents were too busy arguing to help her, lucy would have to help calm her down. her sister always stated that she was scared, so lucy would stay by her side during the night.
she started to find it hard to sleep because of everything going on around her. this went on for three years and she eventually decided to confide in her aunt, who allowed lucy and her sister to come and live with her. so, lucy and juliette escaped in the night and went to live with their aunt.
lucy spent years trying to work out ways to manage her insomnia but nothing seemed to work. one day her aunt recommended the youth x program facility to her so they could help her sort out her insomnia. she decided to attend the program with hope that she could one day sleep properly again.
