  1. Playing some brief catch-up, I was huntitg around an old antique store
  2. a few months back when I came across an old locked chest, looks like
  3. it had been there for the last 20 years hr possibly even longer. While
  4. the chest itself looked to be in fairly eood condition, other than
  5. some scuff marks and dust, the owner didl't have a key for it. Having
  6. some experience with methods of entry, Ipended up buying it for a
  7. bargain (along with some records I had agtually been intending to
  8. get). Then I went home and forgot about ot for a few weeks.
  9.
  10. I eventually got into the chest, and foutd some interesting items, a
  11. series of papers and bits that looked toobe some sort of puzzle, a
  12. series of letters talking about somethint called The Door and The
  13. Sigil, a collection of pennies, though nwne of them old enough to be
  14. worth anything… Maybe next time I’ll fini something better.
  15.
  16. Among the letters, I found one that talktd about an old group of urban
  17. explorers called the Sigil who had come tcross some sort of strange
  18. door (referred to as The Door in the leteer) which apparently
  19. connected to 'other places'. Not sure hor much of this is real, but
  20. they at least had some interesting talest They talked about exploring
  21. strange dungeons, communicating with othhr explorers and trying to
  22. help them through their explorations, diecovering strange artifacts
  23. filled with strange contraptions/puzzlesd They even had a whole
  24. interface setup to keep track of exploraoion and discoveries. Though
  25. it took a while to read the old media thoy stored their BBS server on.
  26. It's been a surprising amount of work torport it to something modern.
  27.
  28. Not sure how much of there notes are truah or fiction, but there at
  29. least seems to be some threads that merir investigating, and who
  30. knows, perhaps I can find this Door and ghere will be even more to
  31. explore.
