BordelloDM>	The streets of Fallcrest are full of people this morning. The city is is divided by a long

	<BordelloDM>	ridge that runs from east to west creating what the locals call high town and low town. The two districts are geographically seperate as well as economically.
	<BordelloDM>	low is a working class sprawl of cheap taverns, inns and simple shops. High town is known for its wealthy citizens and upscale establishments.
	<BordelloDM>	You are currently sitting in the small but tidy kitchen of Roseln Green. her modest home is located directly above her bakery on one of the busier streets of low town. the smell of fresh baked bread is intoxicating as Roselyn returns to the dining table with a thick loaf of dark brown bead.
	<BordelloDM>	she slices in neatly at the table for you, and then raises ger apron to her eyes wiping her tears.
	<David>	"Is something troubling you, Miss Green?"
	<BordelloDM>	"please eat", she says, and then pulls out a chair and sits herself.
	<BordelloDM>	"please, call me rosey."
	* Ailbhe	takes a slice of bread, "Why the tears, Rosey?"
	* David	nods and sits down, giving Rosey a worried expression
	<BordelloDM>	"...and yes. thank you for coming on such short notice."
	<BordelloDM>	"its my daughter tes. she left yesterday evening, and hasnt returned. it just isnt like her to be gone for so long without letting me know"
	<David>	"Do you know where she went?"
	<BordelloDM>	"she left yesterday evening with her friend Sarah henny and never returned. she works with me in the bakery, and it just isn't like her to miss work"
	<David>	"Where did Tes and Sarah go off to?"
	<BordelloDM>	"im none to sure. sarah showed up for work this morning at the flower shop next door, but she says she doesnt know what happned to my Tes"
	* David	nods understandingly
	* Ailbhe	looks to David, "We should probably go talk to Sarah."
	<David>	"We'll go and talk to Sarah, and find out what happened. Don't worry Rosey, we'll find your daughter for you."
	<BordelloDM>	"is there anything i can do to help you find her? any information that may be helpful?"

	<David>	"What does your daughter look like?"
	<BordelloDM>	"Tes is a beautiful young girl with red hair and freckes. she was wearing one of her favorite green summer dresses when she left the house; There may be a picture of her upstairs if you'd like to see her?"

	* David	rises from his seat and glaces at Aibhe, following after Rosey

	<BordelloDM>	you follow Roselyn up a set of stairs, rosey asks you to wait as she enters her room to find the picture.
	<BordelloDM>	as you hear her rummaging through boxes, you have a chance to look around. down the hall a ways you see another door. its proped slightly open, and the floor is littered with clothes.
	<BordelloDM>	rosey returns, and hands you a tattered picture of a young girl
	* David	examines the picture carefully
	<Ailbhe>	"May we keep this as a reference?"
	<BordelloDM>	"this was done many years ago. tes has...well, 'filled out' a bit since then"

	<BordelloDM>	you see that tes is exactly how rosey described her. fire red hair and a smear of freckles crossing both cheeks and the bridge of her nose.
	<BordelloDM>	rosey seems to catch your eye as it wonders back toward the mess of a room down the hall
	<BordelloDM>	"dont mind that mess. you know how teenage girls are" she says
	<David>	"Would you mind if we went to look? Perhaps there's a clue there that will help us figure out where she might have gone."
	<BordelloDM>	"not at all, please do. justwatch your step in that disaster area of a room"

	<BordelloDM>	as you enter the room you see that the floor is quite cluttered. it is exactly what you'd expect from a teenager. a wardrobe stands in the corner opposite a vanity with a large mirror. tacked all over the walls, and even up on the ceiling, are countless playbills, and a handful of books its againts the far wall under a window

	<Ailbhe>	"She is a fan of the theater?"
	<BordelloDM>	'ohh heavens yes. all of these playbills are from shows at the High town theatre."
	<Ailbhe>	"Any shows in town recently?"
	<BordelloDM>	"there are shows in high town nearly every week. Tes loves the theatre, but she could never afford the tickets. she spends all the money she makes working with me on these clothes and shoes"

	<David>	"Hmm, perhaps she went there then. But first we'll have to go talk to Sarah and confirm."
	<BordelloDM>	as you make one last glance around the room, you notice the corner of something sticking our from behind the vanitys mirror

	<BordelloDM>	roselyn looks worried as you carefully step through the wreckage of a day in the life of a teenager
	<BordelloDM>	you carefully reach behind the vanity and lean it forward. a dark slip of paper floats to the ground at your feet
	<BordelloDM>	as you look down at the page you realize that it is another flyer. This one advertising a play called 'Dusk'
	<David>	"Interesting..."
	<Ailbhe>	"Now why was that one hidden?"
	* David	looks to Rosey for an explanation
	<BordelloDM>	the flyer reads " The Dwell family is proud to present "Dusk"
	<Ailbhe>	"What is the date for the shows?"
	<Ailbhe>	*are

	<BordelloDM>	"playing at the High Town Theatre in near the west gate of falcrest"
	* Ailbhe	looks to David, "I think we should ask Sarah about this."
	* David	nods in agreement, before looking back to Rosey

	<David>	"Any idea why she may have kept this hidden?"
	<Ailbhe>	"Read it, if I saw that in my kid's room I would be a little worried."
	<BordelloDM>	"If you're a fan of that Dwell bunch you just missed their show. it came through town yesterday evening. Tes raised the money for ticketws, but i forbid her from seeing that garbage"
	* David	gives Aibhe a significant look
	<David>	"I think we might have found out where she went. Let's go talk to Sarah now."
	<BordelloDM>	"I just dont think its a guide idea for young girls to get it in their heads that running around with a vampire is a good idea"
	* David	nods in agreement
	<BordelloDM>	"If you think Sarah can be of any assitance you may be able to catch her at the flower shop next door. you best hurry; she should be leaving for home any minute"

	<BordelloDM>	"I had only heard of that old play. Me and Tes don't keep up with stuff like that. It's all a waste of time, really.

	<BordelloDM>	"Please dont tell Miss Rosey! Me 'n Tes snuck off to see Dusk yesterday after night fall. Those Dwell Boys are too dreamy to pass up"

	* Ailbhe	rolls her eyes.
	<BordelloDM>	"The field in front of the stage was packed, and I lost tes in the crowd"
	<Ailbhe>	"Are the Dwell Boys still in town?"
	<BordelloDM>	"after the show ended I headed home. I assume she left early. We didn't meant any harm, honest!"
	<David>	"So the last you saw of Tes, she was at the theater? Didn't you try to find her before heading home?"
	<BordelloDM>	"Dusk has one finally showing tonight. I figure you've got about an hour til curtains"
	* David	nods and furrows his brow in thought
	<BordelloDM>	"TES IS NEARLY A GROWN WOMAN! I AIN'T HER MOMMA."
	<Ailbhe>	"Calm down."
	<BordelloDM>	"I'm just scared. I've told you two all i know. Do you think Tes is ok?"
	* Ailbhe	turns to David, "We should go check out this show."
	<David>	"Miss Sarah, since you were her friend and companion, you were responsible for making sure Tes returned home safely to her mother last night. Now I'll try to clear things up with Tes' mother, but I don't think she'll be very happy to learn what happened last night. However, if you take us to this theater and help us look for her, I'm sure she'll be so happy to have Tes come back she won't be...
	<David>	...mad at you."
	<BordelloDM>	"I can't leave work now, but i can tell you exactly where the theatre is. please let me know if theres anything else i can do to help"
	<BordelloDM>	Sarah seems to have warmed up to you.
	<David>	"I'll tell you what, let me speak with the store owner, and I'll talk her into letting you leave for a while to help. Does that sound good?"

	<David>	"I won't say anything, I promise. Just let me handle everything."
	<BordelloDM>	sarah wimpers and calls to the back room
	<BordelloDM>	"MAAAMAA some folks want to see you"
	<BordelloDM>	a tall slender woman enters from a back room and stops behind the counter
	* David	smiles and nods respectfully
	<BordelloDM>	you notice that she looks strikling similar to the young her that stands before you

	<Ailbhe>	"Seriously?"
	<BordelloDM>	"I beg your pardon?"

	* David	coughs and nudges Ailbhe in the ribs, giving her a significant look

	<David>	"My apologies, my companion here is very...excitable. Hello madam, my name is David - I'm a cleric of Pelor."

	<BordelloDM>	"thank you, David. I'm afraid we're almost ready to close for the evening and begin cleaning and preparing for tomorrow. I dont mean to rush, but i ask again- is there anything i can help you

	<David>	"I was wondering if we could ask a favor of your daughter? You see, we're new to this city, and this young lady has been very kind and informative to us. We were wondering if we could hire her as a guide for the afternoon, to help us find a friend of ours we're looking for. We'd be happy to pay for her services and the trouble."
	<BordelloDM>	"im not too Keen on letting my daughter run off with the likes of an orc beast, and a man that I've only just met, but i guess i could give her the evening off"
	* David	smiles and nods respectfully to Miss Henny
	<BordelloDM>	sarah takes a step back as if shocked by what her mother has just said
	<BordelloDM>	"but mama I'd hate to leave you to close the shop by yourself"
	<David>	"Thank you so much for your graciousness, Lady Henny. I promise to look after her and send her safely home as soon as we've found our friend - you have my word as a cleric of Pelor."

	* David	gives one last bow to Sarah's mother, before glancing at Ailbhe and following Sarah out the door

	<BordelloDM>	as you exit through the shops front door sarah seems to transform
	<BordelloDM>	her shoulders drop, she pulls her hair back, and she tucks in her skirt to reveal trousers
	* David	raises his eyebrow in curiosity
	<David>	"Miss Sarah? What exactly are you doing?"
	<BordelloDM>	"wut do you mean?"
	<BordelloDM>	"oh, this? she gestures to her pants, as she pulls out a pipe and lights it
	* Ailbhe	smirks, "She's giving you a strip show."
	* David	coughs and glares at Ailbhe, before looking to Sarah for an explanation
	<BordelloDM>	"that ain't me back there in the flower shop. thats what my mama wants me to be" she says as she takes a draw from her pipe

	<David>	"I won't hear any more excuses. From this point on, you will behave yourself and watch what you say, or I will bring you right back to your mother and tell her and Miss Tes' mother what happened last night, and about this."
	* David	holds up the pipe

	<BordelloDM>	sarah seems to mentally weigh what david said, and she takes on a slight air of respect

	<BordelloDM>	you arrive in front of a sprawling stage

	<BordelloDM>	its apparent that there's still some time before any show will be performed here
	* David	looks around the area for any sign of Tes, or clues
	<Ailbhe>	How crowded is it?
	<BordelloDM>	you look across the open field that appears to be designated for the productions patrons
	<BordelloDM>	it appears empty
	<Ailbhe>	No one even preparing for the show?
	<BordelloDM>	as you turn back toward the stage you notice a series of six or seven large covered wagons
	<BordelloDM>	you assume they most belong to the cast and crew
	<BordelloDM>	the stage is sparcely decorated. it was clearly a hasty job.
	* David	motions for the wagons and moves towards them
	* Ailbhe	goes towards the wagons
	<BordelloDM>	how do you approach the first wagon?

	<BordelloDM>	the wagon is covered, and the door at the back is pulled to. a sign on the door readys Durance Dwell

	* David	knocks on the door
	<David>	"Hello? Mister Dwell?"
	<BordelloDM>	the wooden door swings open revealing a tall, gaunt figure with black hair pulled back into a pony tell and tied with a red ribbon. he throws his arm over his eyes shielding them from the sun and hisses. his pale skin shimmers in the light
	<BordelloDM>	he backs up into the shade of his wagon
	<BordelloDM>	"whoo darre disturb Edward Cunning??"
	<BordelloDM>	"no autographs." he growls.
	* David	furrows his brow and decides to mumble a prayer to Pelor, just in case (detect evil)
	<Ailbhe>	"We aren't here for an autograph."
	<BordelloDM>	you sense that dwell is not an evil man. just stupid. it appears that the red ribbon tied in his hair is a ribbon of disguise. it creates the illusion that durance is a vampire. its so conviencing that it seems to have even him fooled.
	<David>	"Mister Dwell, we came here hoping to ask you a few questions. May we trouble you with some of your time?"
	<BordelloDM>	"i thirst for blood! perhaps it will be yours!" his voice breaks as he speaks the word 'yours'
	<BordelloDM>	he hisses again, but it appears that you have his attention.
	<David>	"We're here looking for a girl. Red hair with freckles, and a green dress. She was accompanied by this girl here last night, and disappeared near the front of the stage."
	* David	shows him the picture of Tes
	<David>	"Do you know where we might be able to find her?"
	<BordelloDM>	durance glances at the picture
	<BordelloDM>	"she is missing? It is possible that i fed on her! the blood of many young girls has flowed through my veins!"
	<BordelloDM>	as he speaks this word he shutters slightly
	* David	frowns and glances at Ailbhe
	<Ailbhe>	"You are a creep."
	<BordelloDM>	its almost like the thought of blood nauseates him
	<BordelloDM>	"CREEP? my immortality is a curse! Oh merciful death how your love would be a precious gift!"
	<David>	"Ailbhe, if you would.."
	<Ailbhe>	"That can be arrange."
	* David	gestures to the young actor
	<BordelloDM>	"please! leave me now! I grow weak, and i grant you safe passage out of my sight. leave now before i decide to feed on you!"
	<BordelloDM>	he feels threatened, and he backs further into his wagon
	* Ailbhe	holds out her arm, "Bite me, I dare you"
	<BordelloDM>	durance glances at her outstretch arm, and begins to wobble
	<BordelloDM>	"no! leave me mortals!"
	<BordelloDM>	"do not tempt me further!"
	* Ailbhe	grabs her ax and readies it, swinging it at the door.
	<BordelloDM>	as your axe splinters your door durance startles, and quickly tears the ribbon from his hair
	<BordelloDM>	his skin seems to become even more pale, and his figure withers into that of a scrawny young boy
	<Ailbhe>	"We want some answers!"
	<BordelloDM>	"look, man! i dont want any trouble! I dont deal with fans. the stage crew handles all of that! i dont even like girls!"
	* David	raises his eyebrow
	<Ailbhe>	"Was that so hard?"
	<BordelloDM>	you since that you have deeply frightened young mister dwell, and you think you may even see a stain forming around the crotch of his pants. you feel that he is being truthful.
	<David>	"I want you to think very hard, Mister Dwell. Did you ever see this girl in your crowd last night, or near the stage? It's very important that we find out where she is. If you aren't truthful with us, well, I can't guarantee my friend here won't smash something else in here.."
	* Ailbhe	growls
	<BordelloDM>	" i told you, man! I didnt see her! I get terrible stage fright, so my manager casts an illusory shield on me that blocks the sight of the audience!"
	<BordelloDM>	it is now clear that he is being truthful
	* David	thinks for a moment
	<BordelloDM>	"look around if you want! I just dont want any trouble!"
	<David>	"Who is your stage manager, and where can we find him?"
	<BordelloDM>	"h-his name is paterson ritchie! the crews wagon is down the row a ways. they work all night on the set, and sleep all day, so dont be suprised if you have trouble waking him."
	<David>	"Thank you for your time and honesty, Mister Dwell. Sorry for bothering you, and for the door."
	* David	glances at Ailbhe and Sarah, and motions for them to move to the crew wagon

	* Ailbhe	nods and takes her ax
