Reason:
* Recent death of a child (Sage) they had raised from an early age, considers them their Son. Caused by the Xeno War.
* Oasis City, the city she founded for a sake of co-existence destroyed.
* Her Academy threatened into the war prior to it occurring as a way to capture children, then also lost before it's time.
*Went to help deal with the rift but Ashael desires to take power from it, lost and only managed to delay the situation with her Great Deluge.
*Has knowledge of the wishing orbs and Masamune, would desire the ability to quickly move about in hopes of finding these and trying to pull the world out of the darkness.

Notes: Acai has faltered a lot in her mind and the number of losses under her City created a painful strike to their ego. She wouldn't aim to open up the Academy, to be a large target but instead aims to empower/sanction her island into a bastion of hermitude and have those who would fight for morality instead of political power come forward. She doesn't aim to raise up as mayor any longer. The job of a Kaio is the best split from the conflicts of the planet.
